This is an update to my review of Tekman Security almost exactly 9 years ago…read more Chris is always been our go-to guy for hanging TV's, and maintaining the camera system he installed when we renovated the home back in 2015. Some of those cameras had reached the end of their useful lifespans and needed to be replaced. One had a damage power cable which Chris was easily able to remedy. As usual, they arrived absolutely on time, as promised. The quote I got back in June didn't change as the result of having to special order cameras for my particular installation. Chris remains truly the best in the business and is now keeping his son employed in the Summer learning quite a bit about the business as he goes. You really can't go wrong here. Very competitive pricing, prompt - on time service and absolutely flawless post-sale service. This is truly your guy for all your low voltage needs!!

Eddie wasn't my first choice because others had more reviews. However, Eddie was the first to reply, had the best prices on the West Side and was able to get me scheduled in less than 24 hours! Overall the experience was seamless. Eddie showed up on time and all was able to get my TV mounted with the additional work to get the cables hidden in less than 90 minutes. He brought additional gear (e.g. extension cables, screws, mounts) in case I didn't have them already. He showed me industry tips and tricks for if I wanted to add additional wiring in the future. After install Eddie cleaned up the area and took out the trash. End to end he was on top of his game. I highly recommend Eddie for this service. He did an excellent job placing the cameras as well as hiding the wires as much as possible. He also help set up the system so I could view it on my TV as well as on my cell phone with the proper APP! Eddie made everything look so simple even though I knew the job wasn't as I heard him under my home's crawl space to work the wires through and didn't leave until he cleaned up the work area and everything was working correctly. Yitz installed security cameras at my house and I've had many problems working with him. He's…read moreunreliable and has poor integrity. I would never work with him again. The project took way longer than it was supposed to, but I would've been okay with that had he honored his warranty and stood by his work. He offered his own warranty in addition to what consumers are legally entitled to by the CSLB. When my cameras went offline, he had me spend hours and hours with the manufacturer tech support before he was willing to even consider looking at them. It took months to get him to come back to my house to get the cameras back online. Before he came over, he argued with me on the phone wanting me to agree in advance to pay more money, even though they went offline within one year and are covered under both warranties. He tried to negate what the warranties covered and even the wording in his own contract. He finally came to get the cameras online but wanted me to agree to cap his visit at one hour and pay for any hours above that, regardless of the reason the cameras went offline. I said if they're not back online after the first hour we can talk about it, but let's at least see what he could do in that hour. When he came over, he spent ten minutes and got most of the cameras back online, but was very resistant to answering questions or explaining what he was doing or how to prevent them going offline in the future. He rushed out the door very quickly and wasn't willing to spend the full hour. I ran out to his car to tell him two cameras were still offline and the NVR was still offline but he left anyway. He said he would come back to fix the rest soon. It's been two months and he's been ghosting me. He won't respond to my calls or texts. I really liked Yitz initially, but he's broken my trust and I've given him way too many opportunities to fix the situation. I've had too much patience. Very disappointing.
