Not sure where these 5 star reviews are coming from. Did they get their rings appraised? Possibly not? Liori Diamonds is not an honest business. The main stone, that they have 'appraised' by a nonsense appraiser (always get your own appraisal because the appraiser is then working for you, not for the jeweler) isn't a diamond at all. They are selling moissanite for the center stones, not diamonds. Now, there's nothing wrong with moissanite - in fact they're better than diamonds but they're NOT diamonds. They're significantly cheaper than diamonds because most of them are made in a lab (real ones are incredibly rare) and the market just doesn't have demand for moissanite, so again, they're cheaper. I'm talking thousands cheaper. A 5k ring purchased from Liori turned out to have a moissanite center stone, NOT a diamond and was appraised at 2k value. Liori's appraisal claimed the ring was valued at 11k with a natural diamond. The appraisal determined that was a lie. The ring was nice and if it were sold to me at $2k and I was told it was moissanite I would have kept it. Since they were dishonest and sold me a lie, i promptly returned it. The funniest thing was, Avi sputtered out during the return, 'Moissanite is better than a diamond!' That might be true, but you didn't tell anyone you were selling moissanite. You lied and said it was a diamond. I wonder how he sleeps at night considering his office is decorated with religious texts. read more

I received my eternity band and after reading the negative feedback decided to safeguard myself against any future headaches. I took it to my local jeweler in hand without any information other than I needed it appraised for insurance purposes. When I picked it up an hour later they handed me a signed appraisal that was within $100 of the appraisal sent with my ring from Liori. My ring is amazing and I am appreciative of the workmanship. We totally got lied to. My boyfriend bought me a $17,000 ring and they did the diamond placing and appraisal while we were out to lunch so we could pick the ring up that day. When we returned (because I needed an insurance policy) they had the appraisal report with the ring for pick up. This bogus report said that my ring was worth $48,000. We were shocked! I immediately put a policy on my ring that cost me $100 a month. Feeling leery about the value that they stated that it was, we went to a legitimate appraisal company by someone who is a certified gemologist and the ring is worth $14,000. I'm glad it's not a fake because I've read other peoples reviews of this place and some people got moissanite so that really got me nervous. Mine has real diamonds and I still think that my ring is pretty but the fact that Liori blew smoke up our butts and made us believe that it was worth something that it wasn't is annoying and a flat out lie and I was paying through the nose for insurance for something that wasn't worth a fraction of what they stated. Unfortunately they lost any positive review that I would leave for them or recommendation to use them in the future. Stop with the BS and just sell rings. read more

Can't say enough good things about Liori Diamonds! I upgraded my setting through them and the process was flawless. The customer service I received from Al was exceptional. He answered all of my one million questions (as I am across the country) to no avail....although the website has photos and videos of their rings, he still sent me additional photos upon request. Let me tell you, photos just can't do my new setting justice!! He even overnighted my setting to me just so I could see it, feel it, and check it out. Needless to say it was gorgeous!! He mounted my same diamond in my new setting and I can't stop staring at it! From start to finish I couldn't be any happier with the service AND product that I received. Stop your diamond store search, you'll never find better than Liori in terms of price and service. I am not local in NYC so I had to do everything by mail. Pretty scary right? The ENTIRE process could not have been smoother. I saw an eternity band online. In order to make sure I liked it before making it custom to my size, Avi sent it to me to verify it was as gorgeous as the photo. It was even more impressive in person! He alerted me about the way the stock ring was set (diamonds were slightly higher than the rest with the prongs being more prominent). He mentioned he had a client not like it and wanting it set deeper. I didn't want it any different than the gorgeous ring I was looking at. Long story short, he was right and I didn't love the higher prongs. However after requesting a GIA report I found out that the diamond ring I had purchased was a clarity enhanced stone. I was very embarrassed to find out that the GIA rejects clarity enhanced diamonds as I have had all of my expensive jewelry graded by them. This definitely wasn't the smartest purchase I've made in a long time. All I can say is you live and you learn... Make sure you research clarity enhanced diamonds before purchasing as there are some downsides. read more

I purchased an engagement ring from Liori Diamonds in April 2016. I fell in love with the ring over the internet and spoke to the staff several times. I paid $16,000 cash for my ring. I purposed in October 2016 and noticed immediately the center stone was loose. I sent the ring back to be fixed. Within 3 weekd I got the ring back from Liori and within a few months my center stone was loose again. I sent my ring back for 4 weeks and they had to custom design a new setting to avoid this from happening again. Well, In July, I went to the beach and one of my side diamonds in my channel of the ring fell out. They requested me to send the ring back to be fixed. They had my ring for 4-5 weeks and claimed to have fix my ring. The day I received my ring I couldnt believe what I saw. DAMAGE! They put a gouge in my gold, my ring was bent and not a perfect circle anymore, and the diamond they replaced was sunk in. I called immediately crying telling them they did damage. They asked me to send the ring back again and they would fix it. After having my ring for 5 weeks they shipped it back to me saying it was repaired. It wasnt. As a matter of fact, they didnt even attempt to fix it. They just hung on to my ring for 5 WEEKS for no reason. When confronted they told me they expunged the profit made on my ring and couldnt repair it even though they damaged it to begin with. I gave them a negative review online and they emailed me telling me my lifetime warranty is now void due to the negative review. I had to go pay $2000 out of my own money to have my ring repaired at a REAL jeweler. I asked them to split the cost and they declined. read more
