This experience was so incredibly relaxing, and I highly recommend! I booked a 60 minute essential massage through ClassPass with 51 credits, which amounts to about $105 (based on my class pass plan), compared to the regular price of $139 (not including gratuity). It was worth every credit and I honestly would come back and pay the regular price! Upon arriving to the spa, the receptionist greeted me and gave me a tablet to check in and fill out my preferences for the massage, including choosing the style of music, scent of body butter, conversation level, and pressure. I loved they had a little display where you can smell the many body butter options before choosing one, and the friendly receptionist gave me her recommendations for a lighter scent. On the tablet you also answer questions about your health related to the massage (sensitive areas or injuries for example) so the masseuse is aware. After I was done they gave me a tour of the women's locker room which was immaculately clean. They had 2 changing rooms, a shower, private bathroom, a sink with lots of amenities, clean towels, slippers, and lockers. They gave me a locker which had my robe to change into. The robe was sooooo soft and fluffy. It had a nice weight to it, like I was wearing a blanket but with pockets! They encouraged I take my time and when I was changed and ready, I could walk into the lounge waiting area where my masseuse would meet me. The lounge had soft lighting, a nice variety of snacks and sweets and tea, comfy seating, a journal with little encouraging messages from past patrons, books and coloring, and a heated container with neck pillows that you can use! My masseuse arrived promptly so I enjoyed these amenities after my massage. The masseuse Eric was so lovely! They showed me to a massage room, oriented me to where to put my robe and glasses, and let me know the table was heated and they could adjust it to my preference. They also asked about my massage preferences and areas of focus. Once I was settled in, Eric came back and I had the most relaxing swedish massage! Perfect pressure and balanced on both sides. I was floating after! They brought me tea after and then I spent some time in the lounge. Overall incredible experience. All the staff were lovely, and the experience from entering the spa to leaving was so relaxing. I also loved the have a huge free parking lot! Its a shared parking lot in a plaza, so you can park right in front. It was a bit tricky to get into the lot from the main street if you have to turn left into it (you'll see a large sign for SPF which is a pickle ball spot that shares the lot). I ended up turning left into a small street and finding my way into the lot from there. Definitely check it out for your next spa day! read more

I swung by Spavia to get a classic refresh facial for my dry winter skin. I had scheduled an appointment before hand but the service desk informed me that my specialist won't be available at the given time and I had to move my appointment which was a bit of a bummer but still fine. I was sent some forms online to fill before my appointment and asked to arrive early if I wanted to fill the forms at the spa. I filled the forms online and was amazed to see so many different options they offered in terms of what music would I prefer, what oil would I prefer, what's my shoe size, what level of conversation will I prefer. Upon arrival, the receptionist greeted me and took me to the changing area. She assigned me a locker where I could leave my belongings and gave me a robe and a pair of slippers to wear. She informed me that they had some water and tea available and asked to wait in the relaxation area once I was in my robe. I noticed a lot of facilities in the changing area in terms of different lotions, different waters, different teas, some tampons and pads, etc. In the relaxation area, I found some coloring books and some magazines. My specialist immediately came to greet me and took me to the room where she had me change again into a robe suitable for a facial. She analyzed my skin first and asked about my problem areas. She suggested a different facial for my concerns but I respectfully declined as I had done my research prior to selecting my facial. She happily obliged to work on my skin concerns even though they were not specifically a part of the facial routine. She then proceed to extract dirt, exfoliate, brighten, massage and moisturize my skin. She kept the conversation to a minimum and I noticed that she used the oil and the music of my choice. She even massaged my arms and neck. I loved the whole experience and my skin visibly looked more refreshed, hydrated and brightened. I was able to relax in the relaxation area after my facial for as long as I needed. I will be definitely be back to try out more services that they offer. read more

Staff is not that nice. Front desk ladies are not very polite or knowledgeable and hardly answer the phone. No-one calls back when forced to leave a message and the services are just ok, they have young inexperienced girls that really don't do decent jobs. read more

I got the premier Salt Stone massage with Curtis. It was excellently done - he applied just the right pressure and removed all the knots in my back which had developed over months of hunching over my work desk. Visiting my son and decided to get a massage on this cold winter day. First time at Spavia. We were warmly greeted by Cleo. We were asked to complete an intake form. Got to pick music we wanted played during the massage session; type of lotion (a selection of scents of unscented); type of massage pressure etc. was ushered to the women's locker area to get changed. They provide a locker, fluffy robe, spa slippers for the session. There's also a shower area to refresh if needed. There's a waiting lounge to sit in while waiting for the therapist. In the lounge, there's a selection of coloring books, water and tea options and a nice neck warmer that I did avail myself to! Got me ready for my massage. My therapist was Tanya from Serbia. She was really good. She worked on my neck and shoulder area which were very tight! By the end of the 60 minute massage (which I didn't want to end), my muscles were nice and relaxed and no longer stressed! After the massage, I was offered some hot tea and es parted to the lounge area to continue my zen moments. There was no rush to get out of there. Really enjoyed my spa time here. Will definitely come back for a longer session next time I'm in town. read more

A wonderful experience. My only gripe is it's not an actual day spa in terms of amenities such as sauna but it was as close to that experience as I could get without being downtown. They have an ample size parking lot. Service was friendly. The locker room is extremely tiny with only one bathroom. It got crowded upon my exit and wasn't able to use their restroom before leaving. Roberto was top notch. He listened and really worked on the suggested areas and kept checking in for pressure. I probably fell asleep a few times. Overall, they seem to hire the best masseuse(s). read more

I've been coming to Spavia for years. The staff is great and all the little things are well thought out. There are robes, slippers, lockers (incl a little pouch for your jewelry), and items like feminine products and hair ties in the bathroom. The small lounge area has assorted teas. And, they've got a lot of great skincare, cosmetics and gifts in their merch area. I love they use online booking so I can schedule appointments myself. Though, sometimes when I want to book multiple treatments it's been easier to call and the front desk staff is always friendly and happy to help. Most of the therapists and estheticians that I've met have been with Spavia for years and it's nice to have that consistency. Everyone has been great. I was a member here for a couple years and all of a sudden one day they discontinued my membership and took away all of my credits. It was so frustrating to deal with them because the front desk did not know anything and kept telling me they had to speak to the head office. They never responded after that. It's disappointing because there are a few therapists that are really good there but the management is disappointing. read more

I have had a lot of massages in my lifetime, and I had the best massage ever from Olaundra! Her hands are magical! I told her I had soreness in my neck and shoulders and she worked hard to get those knots out. I felt so much better afterwards. The receptionists were kind and friendly as well. Wow this place is horrendous and I am considering SUING them and have contacted my attorneys! I have had SO many issues with this place. First of I told them that I was allergic to chemical peels. So guess what they do? They put a STRONG chemical peel on my face during my facial. My face turned PURPLE! I was basically in tears. I tell them that I need to go to the hospital. They just say to me, "Oh we didn't put that in our notes." Secondly, they make it HARD to cancel your membership. I was in Alaska trying to cancel my membership with no wifi. They make you fill out forms, etc. It was a nightmare. Thirdly, I decide to give them another chance and book a service and an hour later, I'm like shoot I just realized that I can't make it. They tell me well we have to charge you 50% of the fee. I said, I'm a long term customer, you can't waive the fee, they are like "no." I'm headed to the Better Business Bureau to make a complaint as well. read more

I thought my 80 minute massage was adequate. Not bad, not great. It checked the boxes but it was lacking what other 5 star massage spas have -for example, the same repetitive motion was used on a knot for 5 minutes. Not joking. No change in technique, just push on the knot until it rolled. Repeated over and over again. The waiting area for women was full with all seats taken. It was described to me as a relaxation room. It's a waiting room except you wear a bathrobe. If you are looking for a perfunctory massage, this will work. If you are looking for a true spa experience, I'd suggest someplace else. read more

I've been to Spavia on three occasions and I must say I absolutely love it and can't wait until my next visit! I have gotten both massage and facial services done here. The spa is incredibly clean and inviting. It is in a very combiner location and has free parking. They really focus on making sure you are comfortable at all times- and I really like the added touches they have in place. For example, you are able to select what type of music you want in your room as well as choose from multiple scents of oils when you have a massage. What really stands out to me was their customer service. I had some issues that came up and their team jumped on my concerns right away- which I really appreciated it. I have been coming here on and off for 2 years when I desperately needed a massage, and recently joined their membership program. Service at the front desk has always been great, and I have tried a number of MTs (Eric, Perri, etc.) and while their styles were different, I have always enjoyed their massages. Not a place for a couples massage. Small changing room, a bit awkward if someone else is in there changing. The next room you go wait for masseuse to come get you, is small. You don't get to wait with your partner. Massage room was small as well. We were juxtaposed and nothing special about the room. All rooms were chilly. Thankfully the massage table was heated. My wife's masseuse asked her what areas needed attention. My wife replied concentrating on her back and lower back would be great. Needless to say, the masseuse did not go near her back or lower back. After the massage. My wife said she did not feel any different than when she walked in. My massage was mediocre at best. Every small detail of this spa is perfect and well thought out. When you fill out your intake form, you even get to choose your music, lotion scent, and level of conversation with your therapist. I absolutely loved that touch and have never seen it used at any spa before. My massage with Johnny was AMAZING. I prefer a therapeutic massage, not just relaxing, and he was able to do both extremely well. The heated massage bed was *chef's kiss* perfect. Johnny really seemed to have a excellent knowledge of anatomy and did a great job addressing my problem areas. He was super kind, friendly, and professional the entire time, making sure to check in about the level of pressure and if different trigger points were effective, but also followed what I wrote on the intake form, that I'm not a fan of conversation during the massage. The whole experience was fantastic! At the end of the massage, he even gave me some recommended stretches to do. Another perfect touch is the spa's relaxation lounge, which you can use before and after your treatment. They provide water or tea, snacks, and even hot aromatherapy neck pillows. It was so nice to not be rushed out of the building after my massage and have a place to unwind and relax. They also have nice changing rooms, give you robes and sandals, and everything was cozy and clean. I have been to Spavia a few times and in the past they were great. Front desk was great, but during my massage my therapist's phone went off 3 times loudly..... and she answered it each time. I get emergencies, but these were not emergencies ( she was planning where to go to dinner) and I felt like she did not care I was spending money. I left more tense than when I came in. Was gifted a hot stone massage at Spavia and it was such an amazing experience (granted, it was my first time having a hot stone massage). The environment was very relaxing from the moment you walked in. I loved that as a customer you can choose your conversation level (no conversation, conversation is fine, etc.) because sometimes you just want a little peace and quiet! The scents they offered for the massage creams were nice (you'll have about 8 to choose from). The changing area was clean (clean lockers, shower area, changing stalls, etc.). I loved that they give you plush robes and some slippers to change into prior to going into the appointment. I loved the robes and the tranquil waiting area (tea is offered and a heated neck wrap). The employees here are very respectful and seems to be very experienced. The hot stone massage was definitely a treat! For those who are heat sensitive, they will ask if the stones are too hot (they also place a protective layer between you and the rocks on your back. Not sure if this is the norm or if it's because I told her it's my first hot stone massage). I loved how she focused the stones on certain "problem" areas on my back, which felt really nice against the heated stones.
