I had a very bad experience with Lube and Wash. I brought my car in and was told it needed a rear main seal, front main seal, and that my entire engine needed to be replaced or rebuilt. I was also told the car was undrivable and could "blow up," which was extremely alarming. I decided to get second opinions from two other mechanic shops on the same strip. Both shops told me the only issues were a rear main seal and spark plugs due to a misfire in cylinder one. One of those shops, Heath's Tire and Lube, was able to fix the issue and get my car back on the road without all the major work Lube and Wash claimed I needed. To make matters worse, I had brought this same vehicle to Lube and Wash about two months prior for an oil leak they said they fixed. According to the other mechanics, the part they claimed to repair had nothing to do with an oil leak, and there's no evidence that any new parts were installed at all. I was still charged and sent on my way. When I returned with ongoing issues, the mechanic tried to blame me, saying I had been driving the car with no oil. However, since there was no actual repair done previously, it appears the issue was never properly addressed to begin with. Both other shops confirmed that no new parts had been installed. Overall, I feel misled, overcharged, and given completely inaccurate information. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before trusting this shop. read more

Can do 4 cars at a time, but only one getting oil change. Lost all the old employees, everyone now new and with an attitude. read more

This place is handy. I was able to get an appointment the same day. Since I am not from the area, I didn't want to research where to go. The waiting area is clean. There is coffee and candy. There is even high top seating if you want to use your laptop. The battery shaped phone charger is awesome. There is miniature golf just across the street. If you don't want to golf while you wait, Good Will & restaurants are across the street. The garage also does state inspections. read more

So I purchased new tires from liquid Lube any year or so later I dropped off my car to have the free rotation done . I have a 2017 Volkswagen Jetta that takes an anti-theft key to undo the lug nuts which is positioned on top of the spare tire underneath the trunk mat . I got a text later in the day saying they cannot rotate my tires because they don't have the Volkswagen key. So I called the following morning and speak with a so-called manager he tells me that they're not going to unload someone's messy trunk to access that key and they don't know where it is . So that day I drive down and ask for my key I go out and Pop My Trunk my trunk is empty I lift the mat and there is the Box on top of the spare that holds the key I go back in and call the co-owner out to see the level of incompetence I'm dealing with and the manager walks up and wants to blame it again on the technician . Anyone with management skills who receives a phone call about the security key would have said hold on Sir let me go look in the trunk . Instead it was nothing but excuses and allows the attitude and when I came back for a third time to pick up the vehicle nothing but a smug reply here's your key . I'm in need of about $1,600 worth of tires for my truck shortly I certainly will never spend another dime at this establishment . Told me Tire rotations were done. Then when asked by tire company to confirm if tire rotations were done they refused to admit if they did or didn't. Shady. Highly recommend going somewhere that will verify their work or actually do the work they claim they are doing. read more

The put an rejection sticker on it saying we need a Ball joint- front suspension control joint $229.56 Lower Ball joint $95.36 Remove & replace F ball joint one side $97.17 Alignment front end 2 wheel $85.00 Sway Bar frame bushings OR kit $21.24 Remove & Replace F stabilizer bar/ OR Bus $97.17 Total - $760.46 I took it to another place and they said we didn't need any of that stuff and we only need an oil change then he told it to a place to get it inspected and it pasted. Wish i could give it a zero. tried to get an old change but they require appts even if they aren't busy. went thru car wash and it cracked my window. even window technician said that there was no way it was a rock. had to have been the car wash. as i was driving away the crack crept up my windshield. called and gave them a heads up and their response was they have a sign releasing them from any liability. bc i had driven away it was to late and they were not to blame. If you value your car, don't get it washed here. Their car wash equipment left a large dent in the back of our car and cracked the tail light. The manager's (Ben) response was, "That's Murphy's Law - things don't always turn out the way you want them to." My 19 year old son brought in my Hyundai Veloster for an oil change since the check engine light is on and it is due for the oil change. Last mechanic we brought the car to was Liquid Lube & Wash. He came back with a $250 invoice and NO OIL CHANGE. I called to see why no oil change was done, and Ben, who, over and over again said there was no one above him, that he does "everything here", said my son didn't ask for an oil change. I asked him to read the service ticket, which said "may need an oil change". I said Ben, why didn't the tech do the oil change, and get this, Ben said, my son said it MAY need it and didn't know, so they didn't do it. Who is the mechanic here?!? I then asked what the mileage on the car was the last time it was at their shop, and he said he didn't know, because the car had a different license plate so they didn't know it was the same car as before, total lie, the invoice has my husbands name on it, our phone number and the VIN #, AND Ben knew they had replaced a tire in the past, but he can't tell me what the mileage was? You know why? Because it would have proved it was due for an oil change and that the check engine light would have gone off if that was done. But instead, they come up with a bunch of other work, $250 worth to get the light to go off. Ben just huffed and puffed and sighed into the phone, would never answer any direct questions and only kept trying to read from what I can only assume was a blurb the tech wrote, because, as it turns out, Ben said he isn't a mechanic!! Strange. I finally said that I would pay for the air filter replacement but since they could not explain why the changed spark plugs, I wanted that portion of the bill credit back, Ben ignored that. So I then asked again for the owners name so I could email him, and said, if we don't work this out, I would be writing bad reviews. Bens only response was "sorry we wasted your money". WHAT!?!? Not even an offer to bring the car back for the original oil change they "skipped". I hope Ken Brodin the owner sees these reviews, but Ben said he is the only one who does anything there so I won't hold my breath. read more

Probably the worst oil change experience to date. Got there 45 mins after they opened and waited over 2.5 hours to have my oil changed. The mechanics were pulling in cars out of order which was causing extended wait times for some. I addressed the issue with the attendant who said they'd look into it. They pulled out the car they were working on (out of order) and pulled mine in. I will never come here. read more

Please be aware that they require an appointment to get an oil change, however they let other people jump in line. Yes, get an appointment but understand you may be waiting for quite a while after your appointment time before they even start on your car. A couple of hours after getting home I got a call from them to come back because they had forgotten to reinstall the rock shield under the car. At least the did call back. read more

They usually let me know about upcoming issues in the near future so I can keep an eye out. Love this shop! TC is the man. Super friendly, helpful, and professional. The Techs are also great. Scheduled an appointment for new tires on my MINI, and was in and out exactly on time. Saw lots of walk ups for oil changes and inspections come and go while I waited, and they all got their work done in a timely manner. And that was at their busiest time, 8:00am! If you need to make an appointment for an oil change then you just don't get how this business works. Take your vehicle to a dealer or full service garage for that, and expect to pay a good bit more. read more

BAD experience with their auto inspections. Used to get my oil changed there all the time. Wanted a local shop that knew my vehicle. I had it inspected there. OverTWO hours I was there. It passed. Eleven days later my front brakes and tires failed at a low rate of speed in front of a police officer!!!! I went to them to discuss it and I was blown off. DO NOT TRUST that your car is road worthy just because it passes their inspector!!! read more

I have had NUMEROUS issues with this place. I took my girlfriends car here a while back for an oil change and state inspection. Ben returned and stated "So, the brakes and tires need to be replaced soon, and by soon I mean it won't pass inspection without them." He proceeded to offer me the "Good, Better, and Best" options and spoke to me as if I knew nothing about cars. Little did he know that I typically work on my own vehicles and only brought it here out of convenience since I no longer have a place to work on them and since it needed an inspection anyway. He also did not know that I knew the laws and standards for inspections. I asked him if they put a failed inspection sticker on it. "No, we figured we'd help you out there and 'not inspect' it rather than putting a failed sticker on it." Well, I happen to know that this is illegal practice - when a vehicle comes in with an expired inspection and they plan to inspect it, they are supposed to scrape the old sticker off before doing anything else. I then went out to the vehicle and began to look at the tires. I asked the tech which ones failed inspection. "All of them." I asked what the measurements were as they still looked decent. He said the front was 3/32 and the rear were 4/32. I pointed out that 2/32 was all that was required to pass, at which point he backpedaled and said "well, yeah, they'll pass right now." I asked about the brakes and he said "well, they'll pass right now too." I told him to pull it back in the shop and do the inspection as I asked. Lo and behold...it passed. I pointed out to Ben that this was poor business practice as most people know nothing about cars and trust the mechanics. He had no response and just seemed to want to ring me up again so I would leave. A month or so later I had new tires mounted and balanced at Westlake Auto (very reliable shop, go there instead) and asked them to just see where the brake pads were at when they had the wheels off anyway. I did not tell them what Liquid Lube had said about the brakes, so there would be a true blind reaction. They told me they were all only about halfway worn and would not need to be replaced anytime soon. Liquid Lube is only out to rip people off and they are consistently engaging in very poor business practice in reading the other reviews on this page. NEVER take a vehicle here. Separately, with this being the only automatic car wash in this area, I have frequently attempted to utilize it when I don't have time to wash it myself. Their wash bay has taken my money with no wash or failed to provide change and they are always conveniently closed when this occurs, causing me to have to return for a refund during business hours. The wash bay has left suds all over my vehicle in the past and seems to be ALWAYS out of service with no signage to indicate such. Horrible business and I will never return for any of their services whatsoever. read more

Brought vehicle in for oil change and tire rotation. After service noticed knock in tires while driving. We took vehicle into another automotive service center and they found that the tire nuts were loose. When contacting Liquid Lube Service Manager all he had to say was "This was a mistake and we should have tightened them". I am not one to ask for freebies but you would think that he would have at least asked for the Techs name on the receipt and/or offered a refund for the tire rotation. This highlights to me that there will likely be no re-education/awareness to its employees to pay closer attention to the work at hand such as serious safety concern of tightening tire nuts after rotation. I certainly will not be using them again and for those that do, make sure you have them recheck tightening after tire rotation. read more

The other customers in the waiting area asked if they could go get the people and bring them in for me because I've been standing there so long. I had the same counter experience as Gary P. I stood at the counter for ten minutes before anyone acknowledged that I was there. An employee asked me what I needed and I told him I needed an oil change. He then disappeared; I did not see him after that. I sat for 45 minutes and watched one employee work on a truck in one bay while the other bay stood empty and two other employees were on their cell phones. I stood at the counter for ten minutes, waiting for an opportunity to ask when they would get to my oil change. No one ever looked my way. I finally just left. Their oil change price is reasonable and their other prices have been relatively low for the area. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The most important thing for me is that they are completely honest. I have ran into to many mechanics that have tried to scam me. I really appreciate those that I can fully trust. It's fine but every single time I have come in here I have had to put up with some socially awkward male employee in the waiting room.
