Parking was abysmal; and the appointment was entered on the wrong date (she blamed me). She did not offer a replacement stylist. I had to ask if someone else could trim my ends. It was only a quick dry trim - took 15 minutes. Contrary to the manager's response, I was respectful to the replacement stylist and tipped well. That I was not is a total fabrication. Yes, women's cuts start at $30, but that's with a shampoo and style. The manager does not know the difference or does not care. The parking situation was difficult even at 2pm on Sunday. I was unnerved when I walked in the door. Several drivers waited patiently for a spot to open only to watch as other drivers swooped in to grab an open spot. That's just not done; it's unsafe; and it happened three times. That is the truth, not a "discriminatory" comment about her neighborhood. That corner of Greenville has become too congested for the traffic, and Richardson has not invested in infrastructure. No worries. I would never return to this shop or the area. The manager was rude and fabricates. She overcharged me for a dry trim. The parking on weekends is unsafe. Many other choices closer to my house where the services fit my needs, and the manager is professional and doesn't argue with clients. Good luck.

And when I wanted a pixie cut, he was able to do it flawlessly. Every. Time. I always got asked who cut my hair because it was so cute, and I always sent people his way. Here I am doing it again. I travel 40 minutes one way, just to have him cut my hair, and I'll continue to do so as long as he's a hairdresser. When I chose to let my hair grow from a pixie cut, he did a beautiful job to help me grow it out gracefully and cute at every stage (a nearly impossible feat). He has his own space at Mattison Avenue salons in Richardson, so it's a bit more of an intimate space, but I love it and all the beautiful plants he takes care of by a large glass window with lots of natural light. I love going to get my haircut there. I truly feel like I can relax and be at peace while I get pampered. I highly recommend him!

The very young girl who washed my hair had likely never done it before and wasn't trained- she didn't wash my entire head just the top. I am not even sure these folks are licensed.
