I was looking for a new place to cut my hair and decided to give this place a try because it was cheap. I Will not be going back. The lady who cut my hair only took 15 minutes and didn't wash my hair and now I have blunt ends. She still charged me 35 dollars. My mistake on look for a cheap place. I got a layered cut and a highlighted color with Mrs. Cora. I'm usually very picky with my time and my money so I know a steal when I see one. Overall: Great price. Fair service. I have included a request picture, before and after pictures, and what was missed. I will say, I was kept pretty comfortable and got to chit chat nicely with Mrs. Cora. I was a little concerned because other stylists kept hovering over her and her station with comments on how she was going to go about getting it done. I was tempted to walk out before she had even started because of this behavior. Glad I stayed, since I paid about $150 for a service that would normally cost me over $250. I also only spent about an hour and a half there rather than the usual 4-5. Which was most impressive. That being said, there was a couple spots where the highlighted color was either missed altogether or applied unevenly. I would come back in to get it fixed for free (and for 15 minutes of my time), but as I'm traveling, I cannot find the space in my schedule. No worries. Nothing I can't fix at home with a caramel toner. TDLR; I'd come back with an appointment at an early time with Cora, or, ask for Swan. read more

After searching for months I finally worked up the courage to give Le's Hair Pro a try. I am Caucasian and my hair is naturally curly, coarse, and gray with a little yellowing. I wanted it straightened because I was tired of flat ironing it. On a prior drop in, I was told Cora was "the person" for my needs. So today I dropped in and Cora took care of my hair needs. Realizing I was nervous about a chemical treatment,she patiently answered my questions and even showed me the product she would be using as I did not want anything with formaldehyde or lye. She applied the product on my hair and after waiting 15-20 minutes, shampooed, conditioned my hair, dried it, and flat ironed it briefly. I'm so happy with the results and was instructed to wait 3 days to shampoo and condition it myself. There is more of a sunflower yellow color in my hair but I'm hoping I can conquer that with an anti-yellowing product Cora recommended. If the yellow stays, I will be returning to Cora to help with that! The price was reasonable and the service was great! read more

Definitely a no fuss type of place. I called on a Monday morning and scheduled an appointment on the same day during my lunch break. No wait when I arrived and Swan was ready to go. I wanted a quick trim with added layers and that's exactly what I got. She made sure I was completely happy with the cut and she even asked if I wanted to take the layers up a bit more and happily obliged when I agreed. !Bad Experience! I went in to this salon with high expectations. I saw the photos of perfectly layered hair, long hair. I have long straight hair and is perfectly easy to cut and layer. I wasn't asking for a wolf cut or anything difficult. Well I got Cora who is the older black woman and I told her what I wanted which was long layers. I even showed simplified photos of what I wanted. They were not taken into consideration. I came out of the salon with choppy uneven layers. The bottom layer was all different lengths, the middle layer she cut a big chunk in the front so now it looks squared. I'm ticked off for paying for a hair cut that looks like I tried layer it myself. I've never had a great experience with getting my hair cut and this place is no exception. I wish I could leave a better review because all the ladies there are so nice but I have to be brutally honest.... I requested Cora for cut and color based on the reviews. She's pretty funny I give her that. The cut I thought was okay but then the day after I noticed the uneven lengths and sloppy choppy-ness of my layers. I requested a light brown balayage hair and no one in the salon knew what the hell that was (I'm assuming because they're old school ladies). After the cut she proceeded to say my hair will be light brown and that my roots will be fixed bc they were awfully long. Well at the end it looked exactly the same except DARKER but I could still see my darn roots too! She said she would do my hair over free of charge since I didn't like it so I gave her another chance. What a mistake. My hair did come out blonde as I requested the first time. An uneven mess of blonde, orange, and white. My hair was so messed up it started breaking and falling out in chunks. I never cried about my hair before but this really freaked me out. Now I can't do crap to it because I don't want to risk going bald so I have to wait it out until my hair recovers from this tragedy. I am so embarrassed to even walk out of my house. I'm sure the other ladies there can do hair because I've seen their work but I probably won't go back to Cora. She is a super fun nice lady but that doesn't mean she can do hair well. I gave someone the benefit of the doubt it and totally screwed me. Lesson learned! If you do go here request Swan. She did really good on the clients I did see. This review is actually on behalf of my husband who had a men's cut by Oanh this weekend. I come to Le's for a monthly microderm and peel with the esthetician Jennifer (Expertise Esthetics). The hubs needed a haircut so I figured I'd schedule an appointment for him around the same time as my appointment. Oanh gave him one of the best haircuts ever. This is a man who had pretty much given up on cuts and for the last few years had resorted to just shaving all of it off because he doesn't like dealing with it. When I saw him after my appointment, I almost didn't recognize him. He looked SO GOOD. It wasn't until he saw himself later that he believed me. He told me, "Ok, this is my new haircut from now on. This is my new place." Since then his confidence has shot through the roof. We're so pleased with the results and the ladies there are so nice. I know we'll be back. Hair type: long Asian hair, normally very dry Went in for: a trim Made sure to: called a day ahead and booked an appointment with Xuan (she was highly recommended to me) , washed my hair earlier that day so they didn't wash mine there Xuan: a very nice and personable hair stylist! She made me feel at ease. She used a spray bottle to wet my hair, and then gave me a trim. She had on a face mask and a face shield. When you go in: Sit on one of the chairs. One of the ladies will take your temperature and give you hand sanitizer. I waited for about 10 mins, and got there about 15 mins before my appointment. When you pay: Tip your hairstylists!! Your hairstylist will give you some more hand sanitizer and open the door for you. My trim was $25. I gave her a generous tip. These people are working hard to keep us all safe, while they're cutting your hair! :) Overall: a very nice experience!!! The inside is not shiny and new, but has a more mom and pop shop feel. Might be good at doing hair but the owner is a real piece of work. I was parked next to her car and it started to rain she ran out and opened her car door in front of my 2 daughters who stepped aside thinking she was just trying to get through. Apparently she is more important than 2 10 year old girls trying to get in their car. To say I was floored would be an understatement. Someone who thinks they are better than everyone else and would push 2 young kids out of the way and make them stand in a thunderstorm just so they could get in their car first should not be rewarded. read more

As a sister of someone who is mentally challenged, I love that my sister makes her own choices as to where she chooses to have her hair done. As a licensed cosmetologist myself, I would expect another licensed cosmetologist to not take advantage of someone like my sister. As I have come to learn, my sister has been going to Cora for a while now. I am at a loss for words as to why Cora has my sister come every 3 weeks for hair color and charges her $100 every time she comes in. As of yesterday, my sisters hair is ruined!!! She has bleached her hair beyond repair and if anyone knows the term "cotton Candy" when it comes to bleaching , well that is the stage that my sister is at! Any PROFESSIONAL AND LICENSED cosmetologist knows that you color hair every 6-8 weeks, but to take advantage of someone who doesn't know better? SHAME ON YOU CORA!!!!!! My sister and I just moved from Los Angeles, finding a hair salon is overwhelming especially when you loved your last stylist. After looking online for an hour or so we came across Le's salon. They were the only salon in garland/Richardson and some of Dallas to have pictures of the haircuts and styles they do. So my sister and I went to check them out. At first we were a little trepidatious but the ladies at this salon made us feel very welcome, comfortable and eased any nervousness. Both my sister and I had color and cuts. The ladies did a great job and are amazing with a pair of scissors. I had my hair cut into a pixie fo hawk and my sister a bob. Please do not let Cora ( the old black lady) touch you hair....just don't. She spray water all over my face and in eyes ( I just wasn't excepting that) I don't think her eyes can see well. She cuts a hole in my hair and she couldn't see it and had let someone else ( the owner) to come fix it. I don't think she is suitable for the $16 haircut. read more

Not the worst haircut I've ever had, but close. Upon recommendation of a friend, i went to B. She talked the entire time and never listened to what i wanted. She had in mind just what she was going to do and by God she was going to do it. It was a carbon copy of her haircut, which resembled a rat nest, and not what i had in mind. I wish i was brave enough to walk out but I'm a wimp. I not only stayed, I had to listen to her entire life story, her expectation that only those who knew Jesus could be saved, and how she used to be a millionaire. For the love of God just stop talking and concentrate on doing something other than butchering my hair. It will eventually grow out enough so i can go to a reputable stylist to start the growing out process but for right now I left looking like a squirrel chewed on my hair. read more

Not happy at all. I tried this place out because it was close to where my husband needed to shop and because of the rave reviews. NEVER AGAIN!! The lady Beng who cut my hair did a hack job. I asked for a bob with layers. She cut one side short and the other side left long and uneven. I had told her my hair has a life of its own sometimes but this is ridiculous!! She only halfway styled it because "your hair does have mind of it's own. I blew it off because I figured when I got home I could style it myself and it would be ok and I thought it was until my daughter pointed out what I could see for myself. The back looks awful!!!
