    The receptionist sets the tone for the whole business. It is an extremely important job. It is not…read moreeasy. You are dealing with many personalities. A really good receptionist knows how to make a customer always want to come back. Here was my experience tonight. I am horrified. I called yesterday . I gave the salon more than 24 hours notice just as I was told to do. I spoke to a lovely receptionist. I explained to her that heavy storms were coming in with many warnings. I did not want to drive in this weather. They were predicting tornados, hail and heavy winds. She was absolutely lovely to talk to and understood. I also explained to her that I did not want to get a fee for rescheduling. She said she understood and would take care of it.She also told me to call in the morning and to let them know once I saw what the weather was like. I followed her advice and immediately called in the morning and rescheduled my appointment. No problem. At 6:30 tonight Gail called. (the other receptionist) as obnoxious as can be and told me that I did not follow the rules . She was going to place a fee on me.ii believe it was $25. She kept saying we talked about this and would not stop. I thought she was a broken record. Again ,I followed the rules. I did nothing wrong. I will tell you the right does not know what the left is doing . There is no communication between receptionists. This was a power trip with her and under no circumstances she was going to win. She was determined. That was obvious. Salons are customer service oriented. You have to be this way if you are going to keep customers. This is the way salons have been . They want the customer to be relaxed by their services. I don't know if Gail got off the wrong side of the bed or something was going on in her life. She sure took it out on me. I am not going to tolerate this behavior. Nobody should. I wonder if the owners know how she is treating customers. She cancelled my appointment because she said I did not follow the rules. At this point, I hung up on her. Nobody should ever be treated this way under any circumstances. It was horrifying to say the least. If you want to be abused by a receptionist then I recommend going here. I am just flabbergasted by the way I was treated. I am in this salon every month. I am not a walk in.

We've been happy with our treatment and stylist, but a friend recently switched to Jasmine and said the results were better than ever. My daughter had 2 days home between summer adventures so I figured it was worth trying Jasmine. She was booked when I reached out, but then the week of let me know she had a cancellation and could take her - whoo hoo! The entire process took 4.5 hours, which is long, but crazy enough less than the 5+ hours we usually spend doing this treatment. Jasmine herself was was super friendly and confident that my daughters hair would be better than ever with this treatment. I was hopeful, but skeptical. She got to work right away with a few assistants helping with the process. When I picked up my daughter I was shocked how straight and smooth her hair was after just running a blow dryer thru it for a few minutes. My daughter was thrilled, although she hoped it would be a little wavy after braids since she doesn't like it perfectly straight. She took off for camp the next day, but the only letter I've gotten in the mail is (no joke) "my hair is totally straight." And based on the camp pictures I've been amazed by how well it took to her hair. It looks a little wavy at the ends and I'm guessing she's likely sleeping in braids to get it to curl a bit. We usually have to do this treatment every 5 months. Jasmine thought every 6-12 months, but our roots grow in so curly that I'd be shocked if we could go that long. I'm also interested in trying Jasmine for the magic sleek, but she thought other treatments would be better for my blonde (highlighted) hair like the keratin express. It's tough to please a 13 year old when it comes to hair (and other things), but I think Jasmine did it!

    Would not recommend this location. Don't get me wrong the staff is nice but some of them are just…read moreplain incompetent. I rarely get my hair done because I don't have a lot of free time & I was incredibly excited to finally have a bit of free time and wanted to establish a new salon in the area. I ended up booking a balayage appointment, a blow dry & cut. Immediately I noticed the colorist was going incredibly fast as she was coloring my hair. I even made a comment that I had never seen anyone work so fast which she laughed off. I got the sense that she was working quickly because she had another client coming in and sure enough about 20 mins before my hair was done being colored she left to start working on someone else's hair right behind me. First of all this isn't a good feeling when you're a client and second, this is just ODD. At one point I wasn't sure if she forgot about me or what was going on however she did eventually come back over and send me on to get my hair washed. Fast forward to getting a blow dry and cut (from a different person) - almost immediately we see a hard line of dark color (from brown to blonde) as the stylist pulled up the top layer of my hair, he then lifted up another section and it was the same thing. So instead of the dark color being feathered in like a normal balayage it was just a straight line of dark color into blonde which by the way isn't cute & not the look anyone's going for. We called the colorist over to show her and she at first tried to justify the situation saying that's what I asked for and then quickly moved on to apologizing and wanting to put more foils in my hair to correct it. By this point I had been in the salon for 4 hours & had plans right after. I had a lot of empathy for her as I don't like confrontation or calling someone out and she was visibly chagrined and incredibly apologetic. I simply didn't have time to get my hair refoiled then rewashed & blow dried so I kept telling her I would figure it out. The front desks solution when I couldn't meet their expectation of spending 5 maybe 6 hours in the salon that same day was to pay full price and rebook with another Senior level colorist (that I would also have to pay for). This experience left me really baffled and I won't be returning as the staff lacks realistic and practical solutions. The lack of doing anything to readjust the cost and instead asking me to return and pay full price again to fix the colorist mistake is just not a solution that is customer centric or satisfactory.
