This was our first time here even though we live in town. We had soup and sandwiches. The sandwiches were big and very good. I had a Muffaletta and my wife had the Turkey Cranberry panini (althought she had ham substituted for the turkey, which they cheerfully did). You could tell they had very good quality ingredients. I had the Sherried Crab Soup and it was excellent. My wife had the Lasagna Soup and that was also excellent. The selection of food seems really interesting and there were a good half dozen sandwiches I would have easily tried. I had a hard time choosing. There were several selections that would be suitable for vegetarians. There are soups, salads, sandwiches, paninis, and a few burgers. The waitstaff was friendly and efficient. There was a nice crowd there, which is a good sign. They just changed their weekday hours to be open a little later which is nice. I hope they are successful enough to expand their hours even more. It would a great place to eat later in the evening. We'll definitely go back. read more

Food was very good. Went there on St. Patrick's day (a Sunday) for lunch while we were in the area for a sports event. Chose this place based on reviews. It was packed with a line of people waiting and just a small space for waiting customers. My other half wanted to wait outside because he didn't want to be crammed inside for the estimated 20 minute wait they told us. I told him this was a bad idea - and it was, they called our name while we were outside and then skipped us. When we went in to check after 15 minutes, they had already seated some other groups. However, that was my BF's fault, not theirs. They WERE very accommodating about giving us the next available table. The service and food were very good. We had French onion soup, the loaded baked potato soup, the wedge salad, etc. -- the almond joy pie was the best thing for me. It's possible that the Yelpers are rating this place on a curve compared to other local restaurants, or are so happy to avoid chain restaurants that they'll rave about the local places. I came here based on yelp reviews when traversing Pennsylvania on I-80. Parking was easy, service friendly, prices pretty reasonable, and the food was just good. Had the chili which was OK, and the salad, which is fine if you like iceberg lettuce with shredded cheddar sprinkled on top. It was fine for a roadtrip lunch, but the 5 star reviews are just total exaggeration. read more

Stopped here for breakfast while driving across the state with two young kids. Had a delicious breakfast-breakfast sandwich, burrito, home fries, and pancakes. Service was great, so friendly and helpful. Our dog sat outside near our table and was welcomed by all. A bit of a jog off the highway, but totally worth it! On our way to Johnstown, PA we stopped off to grab a bite and stumbled upon Lisa's Milltown Deli. What a find! They were heading into a busy dinner hour and they sat us anyway, served us up a fantastic Caesar Salad with Chicken and Shrimp, hot crab dip with some of the best garlic bread and a blue cheese wedge that was amazing. Lisa's has become our favorite dinning spot in PA south of I-80 whenever we are shuttling our daughter to/from college in Ohio from Long Island. Really good coffee, nice staff, fair prices, and just about the best pancakes I've ever eaten -- absolutely perfect! However, where was the real maple syrup? The syrup that was served with the pancakes was not the real deal, something like Aunt Jemima or other yuck corn syrup product. Not worthy of these excellent griddle cakes (or French toast, for that matter)! Perhaps it was on the menu (I didn't notice), but my two cents: serve the real deal even if you have to charge customers an extra buck or so for it. Even Cracker Barrel serves real, warm syrup (for free, and their pancakes are pretty decent too). read more

The meal was OK, but definitely didn't stand up to all these 5-star reviews on here. We waited a long time for our food, though the service was acceptable. They over-cooked a Petit Filet, the fries are basically fast food crap, and I am 99% sure the baked French tomato soup was canned tomato soup with croutons and melted cheese. So over all a disappointing experience, especially considering the prices. There are better and more reasonably-priced choices in this area. read more

Don't let the small townness fool you, if you don't have a reservation during art fest weekend, be prepared to wait a VERY long time to be seated. The hostess has the biggest smile, so you don't mind the wait. The servers are all smiling ear to ear, and the diners all seem very happy. The food is well prepared and delicious. I had the broiled haddock. The fish was perfect! The server was kind enough to bring the kids' food early since they were so antsy from the wait. I've lived in Milton for a few years now, and I had never eaten here. Now that I have, I love it! So delicious. I ordered a wrap, I'm a tad picky (no tomatoes and no bacon) and each time I order it the wrap is correct. The wrap is done quickly and the lettuce is super fresh, the chicken is marinated so nicely. Stopped here based off reviews. Terrible mistake. Wasted an hour of our day waiting in line. We could see empty tables, but the employees just ignored the people in line. They didn't seat a single person while we were there, but we watched a ton of people finish their lunch and leave. Eventually almost all of us in line left. Despite the name place, it's not really a deli especially at night. I arrived at 5:00 pm and the dinner menu, again weird a deli would have a dinner menu, only listed 4 sandwiches. Most of the entrees were in the $18-28 range so the 2 $$ is also misleading. Clearly with a $28 Filet listed this not a deli. The cheeseburger I had wax solid enough but certainly not as good as what they can do at Five Guys. The fries were unsalted tasted of a frozen food service product. Charging extra for cheese is one thing, but charging for lettuce and onion seems really tacky as does a $13 burger and suggested tip amounts which are calculated with the sales tax. It wasn't a bad burger but not worth the money or the trip to Milton. read more

Based on other reviews, I really wanted to like this place. So much so that my husband and I went three times in the hopes that we'd understand what all of the fuss was about. The first time we went, the food was underwhelming, truly nothing special. The second time we went, it was delicious! We went back a third time and ordered the same dishes we did during our second visit, and they were once again underwhelming. So I guess the meals are inconsistent at best.
