Salad - strawberries, cucumbers, red onions, candied walnuts, balsamic dressing.

I recently visited pizza art wine. The inside is very small, about 9 tables inside, but the decor is cute and inviting. We ordered a salad and a pizza. Both were tasty but the portion sizes are super small for the price you are paying. Definitely a more expensive pizza place in the area. Bathroom floor could have been swept, there was a dead wasp above the drain on the floor. Overall, we did enjoy our food.

Pizza Art Wine, located at 7673 Perkins Rd, Suite C1, Baton Rouge, LA 70810, participated in Restaurant Week, showcasing its Italian cuisine. Our three-course meal featured standout meatballs and pizza. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The establishment offers a relaxed atmosphere with high-quality food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] First Course: Polpettine mortadella and prosciutto meatballs with confit garlic, sweet marinara sauce, truffle crust burrata, and pesto; oven-roasted Brussels sprouts with orange blossom honey glaze, pistachios, and goat cheese. Second Course: Lasagna Bolognese with pork and beef ragu, a three-cheese blend, prosciutto ricotta topping, and arugula; Rustica Burrata with roast pork, ham, rosemary, pistachios, and honey. Obsessed with the ambiance, but not a huge fan of the pizza. This place is absolutely amazing inside. Pizza oven, art everywhere that you can buy, beautiful bar, this place is gorgeous. They even have white table cloths and service was perfect. We came on a Saturday night and were sat outside on the patio. They were plenty of heaters out there so we didn't freeze. White table cloths were even outside, and they had pillows for the tables that were booth-like. I started off with an Aperol Spritz that was delicious. For the food, I wasn't a fan. Small portions. I started with the Caprese Salad... it only came with three tomoates and the sauce was just everywhere. It was good but I was expecting more. For a main meal I got a Caesar salad and pepperoni pizza. It was average. Again, the salad was small and didn't fill me up on its own, even though I got it as my meal. Pizza was ok... I like a thicker crust and bigger pepperoni for pizza. Not a huge fan of the food, but the drinks, service and atmosphere were 10/10!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Finally found the opportunity to dine here, with nice weather, evening live music to add to the ambiance, plenty of artwork on display, and good company.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Nothing wrong with a classic pizza but won't say it was anything amazing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's more of a place you'll probably go if you wanted a vibe and happy hour, and not for the food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

So when I originally posted my review, the owner reached out to me through text to offer to make up for the night my friend and I had. I was honestly very impressed that she went out of her way to get my number through the reservation. That takes huge initiative. When I came back, we were seated immediately. The hostess with the long brown hair 10/10. She is absolutely on her best game. The server came and got our drink orders and it arrived very quick. We ordered everything at once. We got the bruschetta, the pizza with the Prosciutto and carbonara. I ordered the Hugo to drink and a strawberry martini and it was divine. The bruschetta was a 7/10 The pizza was a 12/10 The carbonara is a 7/10 The Hugo was very refreshing and the strawberry martini was so great and beautiful My friend that came with me was pregnant so she got a mock tail and she said she loved it! I would love to come back and try some more.

This might be my new favorite spot . Not only is the environment absolutely wonderful but the food is hands down some of the most delicious food I've had in a while! Everything from their drinks to their pizza and to their desserts was so good! It's so hard to find a place that does a classic Tres Leches cake and I was so excited to see this on the menu ! Their pizza selections are unique and the two I tried were so delicious! The service was very friendly and pretty quick with getting our orders out ! I would give this place 6 stars if I could! Already can't wait to come back !

The service was nice and polite. We made a reservation and could not get a table inside because it is small. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance and decor was all gorgeous.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food is very picturesque, but taste wise was just okay. The pizza texture was nice but I wanted more from the flavor. The eggplant parm was okay. The sauce was too herb-y and not tomato enough for me. The sandwich thought tasted very good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I liked the ambiance just want more from the food itself[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I came across Pizza Art Wine on the way to a Boba tea shop next to it the other day and was astounded by the décor inside. My partner and I decided to give it a try considering I haven't had many pizza places so far this year. First thing you notice upon entering is the décor, the paintings, and the ambient. The workers were extremely friendly and considering they just opened to the public it was pretty much empty as well. the hostess helped us decide on a pizza which was very reasonably priced by the way as well as a good size for two. We decided on the Dolce Vita which was recommended consisted of prosciutto, burrata, arugula, and balsamic glaze. Dolce Vita- the pizza was fantastic, I appreciate that the cooks put on the arugula after baking so it doesn't get dried out. The pizza was thin which I prefer and was cooked well but not burnt at all. The toppings all blended well together and we also got truffle oil drizzled on which worked out! I'm not a pizza expert but this restaurant has to be the best pizza I've gotten in town yet. Overall I was very satisfied with the pizza we ordered, they do have wine as well as a variety of drinks. We ordered the pizza to go which it was still delicious even after taking it home. I cant imagine how much better it would be eating at the restaurant which I would definitely recommend to enjoy the décor. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this spot to everyone, also they said that the paintings which are done by the owner as well.

Interior has a lot of art some are for sell they say

I passed by this restaurant around the shopping district and did not notice they were open till now. Went in to check out and saw how beautiful the restaurant was. There are a lot of paintings displayed and it felt like I was in an art gallery. I was told you can also buy some of the artwork displayed. Unfortunately, I didn't dine in this time around but the interior had such a good vibe, I would love to come back and eat slowly while looking at the artwork. I'm not a huge pizza lover as most pizzas I tried in town is very oily or doughy, so I was pleasantly surprised by how good their pizza was. I got Dolce vita and added truffle oil and the flavor was great; Not too oily or dry, thin crust, light, great flavor. I will come back and try different pizzas in the future.

Shrimp and polenta -a bit on the dry side and skimpy on the shrimp. Needed more flavor

Great concept, poor execution. I love the owner's story - she is an amazing and strong woman, and I fully support her and her future endeavors. We have been wanting to try to visit for some time now, and the stars aligned and we were able to make it work for a birthday brunch celebration. Although I am highly disappointed, I will preface this review by saying I do want to try the place again, and maybe sit alone at the bar, or perhaps with one other person (but no more than that number) to ensure the experience I am sure this is geared toward. I did not realize the inside was as small and intimate as it is, so if you are a larger party, you will be seated outside. There is a cover and some plastic windows, and they have heaters that can be placed by you, but keep this in mind if it is cold. Heaters only do so much and hit so many people. Also, the wind knocked one of the art pieces down and through the attempt to put it back up, they ripped it several times! There were two large parties to be seated for brunch that day. When we arrived at 12:30, we found out one party was scheduled to have 20 guests (35 in total showed up, so that was a mess) and our party was 12. There were two servers on duty that day plus one (amazing) bartender. Two servers for two large tables plus the usual customers seems like very poor scheduling. It took about a half hour for our drink orders to be taken. We are a very patient and forgiving group with several having been or currently in service industry. But patience only goes so far. Some of us did not get our drinks or had to put the order in a few times. There were two or three people who ordered coffee, and it took 45 minutes for that to even arrive, and about the same time for any future cup ordered. Our server was very friendly and very apologetic for the wait. We could tell the other party was monopolizing the bar and the kitchen, so we were aware this could take a while. When I go to a restaurant, especially in a large group, I review the menu in advance and know what I plan to order. I had three items in mind from the online brunch menu.....only to find out the actual menu did not contain these items. Huge disappointment. I finally decided on the polenta and shrimp. The owner and staff checked on us now and then to see if we had our items and we would let her know, although some items were not delivered as expected. I really hope this was not taken out on the staff as they mostly seemed to be trying as hard as they could, and some extra manpower should have been on hand. As expected, the food took a while, but again, pizzas do that, and the other table seemed to be working the staff a lot. One of our guests went to the bar and got the plates for everyone to eat off of as those never were delivered. Another round of drinks took another 20 or so minutes. The shrimp and polenta were okay, nothing spectacular. There was not much flavor - it could have used a kick. The shrimp were fairly sparse. I ate about half of it before writing off the dish. Others liked their pizzas, and some had appetizers that hit the spot for them. As I know the other table (as well as the indoor tables) were order pizzas too, it was expected they would be a little inconsistent in that some were more well done than others. The brunch rounded out with a free glass of bubbles for the birthday and a song by the staff and owner with a candle. That was cute. Now, the checks ---- the process started about 3pm. Our server took half the group's cards and then stopped, leaving about 5 of us not having paid yet. About 20 minutes later, he was back and made everyone check their checks for accuracy, which then had to be corrected. So that group is finally done.... about 3;30. Then the rest of us...... he asked what most of us ordered, got our cards, and came back to ask questions. Someone broke it all out for him and he came back to ask about one of the pizzas. Our checks finally come back, and the birthday girl was charged for someone else's pizza on top of hers that we know had already been paid for by someone who had left with the first round. it was now pushing 4pm and we were ready to go - 4.5 hours at brunch and we all left there with no brunch buzz (didn't even get the drinks to do that with) and we were all looking forward to getting dinner by that point. (I gave the birthday girl whatever cash I had to pay for the extra food she didn't order and that was already paid for.) So I hope that was a unique experience. Again - staff was SUPER friendly and apologetic, Vee the bartender was on point with her skills and came out to check on us too, you can tell the owner loves the place and values the patrons, and the location itself is adorable. I really hope this is not the norm, but again, never again with a large group, and never again to look at the menu ahead of time. And while I appreciate the kindness, this was unacceptable. At least we have a story to tell from now on for our friend's birthday.

If you're looking for an amazing pizza experience, you need to check out the gourmet pizza place that I recently discovered. This place is a real hidden gem, with an incredible atmosphere that instantly transports you to a cozy and welcoming environment. The best part of this restaurant is undoubtedly the pizza, which is made with the freshest ingredients and bursting with flavor. I was blown away by the toppings and the quality of the ingredients. I opted for the Pepperoni pizza, which was perfectly cooked with a crispy crust, and fresh mozzarella that tasted divine! I had their Caprese salad, the basil tasted like it was picked from a garden just moments before. But what really sets this place apart is their bar! hey have an impressive selection of spirits with unique and creative flavors that perfectly complement the pizzas. I tried the dirty martini, and asked for a muddled jalapeno in my drink- outstandingly spicy!!! It went perfectly with our pepperoni pizza and Caprese salad! The ambiance of the restaurant is also something to note. It has a warm and inviting feel making it the perfect spot for a romantic evening or a cozy night out with friends. The staff was great! We sat at the bar and Shay was amazing - always checking on us and making the best jalapeno dirty martini! Overall, I highly recommend this gourmet pizza place for anyone looking for a delicious meal with a great atmosphere and fantastic drinks. The attention to detail and quality of the ingredients are truly exceptional and make for a truly memorable experience. Update: I usually do not mention any bad experience but I had to mention my experience. I made a reservation through Open Table for a Friday at 5 pm. I get there and they had no room for two people except at the bar. They offered outside seating and said they have fans, but in almost 100-degree weather, that was a no-go. The food was delicious but they need to organize their reservations. Since the pizza oven was indoors the restaurant was warm.

Both good choices. Overall, the wine pairing was okay. I like the appetizer pairing of a nice light, white bubbly prosecco. The second was a classic red wine to pair with a steak. The last wine is where I was not impressed. It was a dessert wine that had a smell similar to a distilled whiskey. I took a sip and decided I rather another glass of prosecco. Shout out to the server who was accommodating and swapped out that glass for what I requested. He didn't have to, but he did! The food was mouth watering delicious. We started off with the sauteed shrimp and the piquillo peppers. THANK GOD the piquillo peppers are a Solera regular. I will be getting them again. The shrimp were just okay, nothing out of this world. Second course was the filet with polenta. It was absolutely delicious and packed with flavors that complimented each other well. Final course we had the rum bread pudding and the manchego cheesecake. The manchego cheese is definitely a rich and an acquiring flavor. Without the blueberry sauce, you would think its just a slab of cheese. The rum bread pudding was spectacular. I have never loved a rum sauce with my bread pudding, but the Solera one kept me wanting more.
