Absolutely amazing! The food is so delicious and the owners are very kind and personable!

Okaaaay! So, we have been on a search for yummy mexican food. Mainly tacos. A coworker recommended this place to me. Luckily my boyfriend and I were doing laundry in the area and we decided to try this place out! Right now during COVID, they were only taking drive thru orders. We couldn't see their small sign so initially we walked to Litas to only find out dine in was closed. My suggestion, make your sign bigger. As we waited for our order, we saw so many people walk to the door thinking the place was closed. Or waiting by the door. LOL. Anyways the food. The menu is very small. Very basic. They only had chicken and steak. I liked how they had combo meals! We ordered 2. We asked for a side of pico de Gallo and sadly it was like they skimped out on our extra side so that was a bummer. We finally parked and tried the tacos, if it wasn't for their jalapeño sauce in the tacos this place would have been considered 3 stars, for us. Again, I feel like they should expand their menu. Add some al pastor, chicharrones, etc. And if you're charging extra for sides at least give your customers a good amount. I mean.. lol. Anyways my boyfriend like the tacos but mainly for the jalapeno sauce It had a really good spice to it. Also we went back on a Tuesday and it was closed. It said on their yelp and google that they were open so I would update that! But overall this place has been the only good tasting tacos in Florence so far.. we're still searching! read more

I had an overall good impression of this place. I went in for a late lunch around 3pm on a Saturday. They had a good number of patrons at the time, which is always a good sign. I was promptly greeted at the counter and my order was taken. The menu is very small and simple, which may be a turn-off for some looking for more varied options, but I found it refreshing to not be faced with menu overload, and be able to quickly decide what I wanted. I went with one steak and one chicken taco with a drink, and decided to dine in. The atmosphere and decor is decidedly unpretentious, which makes it the perfect spot to grab a quick lunch solo or with a few friends. The service was fast and friendly. The tacos are traditional: open faced on soft corn tortillas, with cilantro, radishes, and a wedge of lime. Reminded me of the old Taqueria Oasis (RIP). I ordered mine with everything, which includes onions and a jalapeno cream sauce. The chicken taco was great. The jalapeno cream sauce adds a good amount of kick, which negates the need for the typical bottle of hot sauce on every table encountered at less traditional Mexican restaurants. The steak taco, which is normally my favorite, came in second. I found that the steak was too salty. I think they should dial the salt back a couple of notches, as this one seemed to be turned up to 11. Next time I may go with two chicken tacos instead. I will definitely return for a simple yet satisfying experience from a friendly staff. read more

Have you ever had an experience with a stranger and walked away thinking "was that real or was that an angel and am I dreaming?" Well our experience with Litas was one of those. We showed up at 7:05 not realizing they close at 7. My husband walked up to get a menu to bring to the car, but the owner came out and said they had just closed. He looked at my kids and I in the van and told my husband to wait a few min while he sees what he can do. This beautiful soul came out of his restaurant with bags of food for us I mean probably 15-20 tacos and chips and salsa. He handed it to us and said "last night my family received a blessing and I'd like to pass some of that goodness onto your family" and GAVE US ALL OF THE FOOD FREE OF CHARGE!!! When we tried to give him money he refused to take it and introduced us to an employee of his who we forced to take the money for herself. Okay so incredibly beautiful experience aside... THE FOOD IS AMAZING!!! Like so effing delicious we were in shock. Basically flavor country in taco form. We will be back and will be sending many a hungry folks to Litas. Torn between three and four stars. Food is good if you get what you ordered, but don't let the drive through fool you. If you come around lunch or dinner expect food to wait in the drive through line 15-20 minutes then for your food for similar time. Most times I've come here food for two people takes between 30-40 minutes. I've also had time that I order and did the tacos with rice and never received the rice. So you might ask why I still come here, and that's the struggle for between three to four stars. The food is on point. My favorites are the street corn, chicken quesadilla, chicken cowboy tacos, and veggie tacos. Sometimes I ask for the chips and pico when I order so I have a snack for the second half of the wait. The spices and flavors of their food is balanced well. If they were able to expand to move faster and tighten up on quality control I think this restaurant has potential. Also, on convo de Mayo the line was wrapped around the gas station so plan ahead because everyone has the same idea. read more

Very good! This was our first time ordering! Beautiful presentation. Very hot. Possibly a little too many jalapeños. Wish they had access to green chilies.
