Beware of Redding Lithia Chevrolet service department. I don't know if they thought they could pull a fast one because I'm a woman, but they messed with the wrong woman! I took my truck in for an oil change a couple weeks ago. After I picked it up I was getting code alert on my dash for engine air filter. I texted the dealership on the message thread I was using to communicate with the service center rep to let them know about the code being thrown right after I picked it up. There was no response from them. After I reached out to them again to fix the problem they proceed to tell me it was missing before because it shows it's missing in video from the oil change. Which is a literal 2 second video clip that you wouldn't be able to notice piece missing unless you pause the video and slowly go through it, and also no time stamp. Where's the before video? After comparing the air box with someone else who has basically the same truck, we noticed there is not a factory sticker on the air box like theirs has. And the intake connection to the grill was also found to be disconnected along with the bolts that hold box in not being fully bolted in. It appears to me that they took out my air filter box and replaced it with some junk air filter either to get me to buy a new one or replace someone else's. I am currently in contact with BAR because what they're doing is not ok. read more

They got there and test drove and were told, "it's actually $23,000 because we put a paint protector and anti theft on it". That's lowlife tactics. I had my kid leave the place immediately. Last week I purchased a 2023 Ford Maverick truck outright from this dealership. I'm not from the area and drove 3 and a half hours eager to purchase this vehicle I seen online and had communicated with Carlos. The car was ready when I arrived around 6:30pm and I went on a test drive and the truck drove well. I completed the paperwork and was told the truck would be ready soon and that they were filling up the gas and washing the vehicle. I realized the gas was only filled halfway but thought no big deal. The next day I was checking out the vehicle in the daylight and realized the seats were filled with dog hair and had a stench. I contacted Carlos but he was unresponsive. I had requested if it was possible to get a deep clean car detail which is standard procedure. I later called to speak with Luis or Tristin the sales managers and left multiple voicemails with no response. I'm really disappointed with the customer service and can't recommend this dealership. read more

First, the customer service is nonexistent. I was ignored when I arrived, and once they finally took my keys, I couldn't get a single proactive update. I had to call multiple times just to find out if my car was even being worked on. The worst part, however, was the bill. They are absolutely overcharging for labor and parts. I was quoted one price, but by the time I went to pick up my vehicle, the total had skyrocketed with "miscellaneous fees" and marked-up costs that were never cleared with me beforehand. We drove 3-4 vehicles but I wasn't sure what I wanted The next day I decided to drive a full sized truck. I called James, but he wasn't there. Kyle took care of me instead. We test drove 3-4 more vehicles and then test drove the one I wanted just to be sure. Both James and Kyle were really knowledgeable and not busy.
