I typically do not write reviews but feel compelled to here. What an incredible experience. The food was on point, delicious and the perfect quantity. The presentation and food recommendations by our wonderful, personable and helpful server, Valeria, was a 10 out of 10. The prices were reasonable. The vibe and atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. And they offer halal options to boot! It may sound hyperbolic, but this was as perfect a dining experience as I can remember having. Will make it a point to come back here next time in town, and will be my first recommendation to others. Special thanks to Valeria and the young friendly gentleman (I am sorry the name is escaping me ) for providing such great service! Bravo!

This place singlehandedly raised my ceiling for this cuisine so high that I've got a new lifelong sidequest I must attempt to fulfill. I gotta learn more and hunt for what else might come close to matching the perfection they conjured for me here--and without a hint of pretension, too! There's room for fancy, but to achieve such greatness while keeping everything simple and uncomplicated is amazing. Every bite is as good as you might imagine it could be--in my case, everything was even better. The pitch perfect acidity of the merguez shakshuka is something I'll remember forever. The richness of the avgolemono sauce with the meatballs made me smile and sigh. It's nice to reminded sometimes that you don't know everything and that food has an infinite potential to surprise you.

(Expect 45-1h wait time.) not bad as there are a lot of cute shops around. Both me and my partner got the Belmont breakfast. Has a bit of everything ($23) I gave my partner the bread and got his salad. He said the bread was really good. I really enjoyed my salad nice and fresh not sure what kind of leaves was used. First time I see that shape. Back to salad it was light and a little bit sweet. Potatoes are the next best thing on my plate. I like them he spice that was used, I added a but more salt on mine. The breakfast sausage did not give me heartburn... not guaranteeing anything but worth mentioning. I believe they were lighter in oil simply. My partner always trades them for bacon. I only got a half sausage, he had the rest. The last thing I want to mention is less positive. I usally like breakfast beans. Got excited when I saw the black beans. However, really disappointed nothing more than warmed out black beans. Not what I would expect from breakfast beans. I expect a maple or sugar flavour. You can pay $5 to add to your breakfast... mine came with them but I would skip. Unless unflavoured black bean is your thing.

Normally I would never get this type of pizza as I love a red sauce, but this was recommended by one of my friend's friends so we tried it. And I'm so glad we did! This pizza is amazing and the flavours are prefectly balanced. Fast forward to this year, I was on a road trip with my husband and my dog and I just HAD to have this pizza again. We ordered the Nona Mela and the Citta pizza (the Citta has prosciutto and brie), and they were both delicious! The Nona Mela was especially good, and my husband agreed that it was a lot better than what he expected. We couldn't finish the two pizzas between us, so we brought the leftovers home and reheated it two days later. Somehow, the pizza was even better than the day of! We actually ordered an extra Nona Mela to bring home to one of my friends who was on the girls trip a few years ago, as she also has been thinking of this pizza. That's how good it is! The pizza is on the pricier side though, but very worth. We sat on the patio since we had a dog and the waiters/waitresses were very nice and gave my dog a water bowl.

Excellent pizza place! Food, service and ambiance was great, and would recommend highly!read more

We found them on Google. It's a tiny little place in a strip mall in kanata. We were pleasantly pleased when we called and they had a table. When you walk in, you are greeted with a smile and a welcome both times. It is comfortable and beautifully decorated. It's very classy but you can also come in casually dressed. Their menu is diverse, and everything I've had both times here has been beyond delicious. We usually try a few appetizers to share, dinner, and dessert. Whatever brand of prosecco they have, there is the beat I've tasted in a restaurant. The bartender/waitress/owner is super friendly. Both times, we had such a nice chat with her, and you just get these genuinely nice vibes. I've left happy and relaxed both times and have recommended this restaurant to so many people. The tataki, tartars, and fruit and cheese platter appetizers are really good. You will leave pleasantly satiated.

I guess itsya popular time to eat! 3 weeks was worth the wait, as the anticipation of what we were about to enjoy grew stronger. Bread to start, with whipped butter. Hot from the oven. Soft, pillows of carb goodness, with a touch of salt. We started with the TOMATOES WITH FIOR DI LATTE AND RICOTTA STUFFED ZUCCHINI BLOSSOMS which was devine. My main was the ROASTED RAINBOW TROUT WITH BOILED POTATOES, PASTIS HOLLANDAISE AND SEA ASPARAGUS and hers was SWEET CORN AGNOLOTTI WITH BUTTER, PECORINO AND JALAPEÑO. Both dishes were faultless. We finished with Eton Mess with meringue, whipped cream and stewed rhubarb for dessert. It looks like a LOT, but the meringue is mostly air, so we tackled it with ease. And, it wasn't as sweet as expected. Americano to cleanse the palate. Fortunately, we found a parking spot right around the corner, so our full bellies didn't have to go too far.
