I have found my new lunch place in midtown! They have extensive and interesting menu. Its not regular salads and bowls but really unique. Price wise its great for good portions. Tried their chicken squash soup bowl which was not only very filing but also nutritious! Cant wait to try other things on menu!

Super yummy and interesting spot with unique combos and great service. This week I ordered a lentil and beet salad and it was fabulous! I partnered that with red leaf lettuce, string beans, sweet potatoes and spicy chicken. Not only was the food combination outstanding but the sauces! Oh chimichurri and aioli sauces come to momma!! They were tasty and fresh!

Fast casual lunch spot with chef-made bowls or build your own. Vegan friendly but options are oddly not labeled. Same with vegetarian. You have to go through the process with your server, which, for a first-timer during the lunch rush, slows down the line considerably. Seems like a miss especially when the online menu has a "sort by diet" filter. (Wait, the pickled ginger is not vegan?!) Menu does state that everything is gluten-free and marks the seasonal ingredients. For the ready-made, the beet falafel bowl is already vegan, no subs needed. To make your own, avoid the spicy cold noodles, the shaved Brussels sprouts (with pecorino), and the smoky maple carrots. The regular sauces are all vegan. Little Beet has very fresh ingredients that make for a delicious bowl.

Absolutely delicious. I'm so happy I stopped. The service was wonderful and there was plenty of seat

Quinoa, greens, chimichurri sauce, tofu, salmon and a few falafel, with green beans.

Beet salad and falafel made of beet was surprisingly good. Filling bowl with falafel, tofu and salmon, quinoa, beet salad, greens and green beans. Hit the spot for this gf girl!

Recently tried the Little Beet and wow! It was so good. I'm typically a sweet green fan, but I think I like Little Beet even more. They have a similar concept to sweetgreen, but a few more cooked topping options. I tried the salmon and it was a great portion size. All the sauces were delicious. I would 100% order the beet hummus, and bean guacamole again. The beets and lentil side was also tasty and different from other sides and the sweet potato was as great as expected. I ordered my bowl ahead of time and it was ready before I even came to pick it up. They seem to have the lunch rush down. The restaurant itself was cute and spacious. I could have definitely eaten there, it was just a bit loud. Super easy food pickup though and such tasty food! Can't wait till my next Little Beet trip :)

This was my first visit to a The Little Beet restaurant. It was a Saturday at 1:30pm. I ordered the Whole 30 Bowl without any personal variations. I carried my bowl upstairs where the other customers are stored. I enjoyed my meal while listening to Aha's "Take On Me." I'm not much of a health food eater but I gobbled everything up. The sweet potatoes were soft and refreshing and were like taking a drink to cleanse the palette. I was able to use the restroom and to make it to my 2pm Broadway show five blocks away.

One of my favorite take out spots in the area! The salmon was so tasty with all of the sauces, and the veggies were all fresh and well seasoned.

And, there are more to explore!!! Willow is another notch on their belt as it delivered everything we wanted based on previous experiences. The restaurant is quaint and cozy - in other words much smaller than the others previously mentioned. The staff was accommodating and gracious and paid great attention to each table, making certain water was filled and the food was satisfying. We ordered the crab Rangoon to start and what a perfect choice. These were stunning and made even more perfect by the sauce accompanying them. I moved onto the brisket in bbq sauce served with Parmesan fries. The bbq sauce was a Rita's bit overwhelming and the fries seemed more traditional for the Parmasean seasoning didn't come through. It was a good dish although not one I would be running back to order. The brisket was super tender though! My husband had the Korean fried chicken sandwich with an upgrade of onion rings - delicious!! The rings were both crispy and tender as was the sandwich. For dessert we actually asked our waitress to surprise us because we could not choose - there were too many amazing choices!! She did not do us wrong! We had the banana pudding with wafer cookies and it was AMAZING! The appetizer and dessert (paired with their special iced latte) are well worth the trip and made the experience a delight. Once again the City Root Hospitality group did not disappoint!!

This sandwich is usually not something that is available vegetarian so i was curious to see the flavors and textures. The steak is chewy and meaty so if you are not a fan of faux meat then i would proceed with caution. I enjoy the cheeses here as they are unique and different from each other. The sandwich overall was okay though not my favorite sandwich ever. - smoked Mac and cheese (7/10): macaroni with smoked goat cheese, cheddar, mozzarella baked in a cast iron skillet and topped with vegan pancetta and breadcrumbs. This was a cozy appetizer especially on a cold day. The flavors of the cheese are rich and smoky with a hint of saltiness from the pancetta and breadcrumbs. I would have liked it to be a larger portion and offered as an entree. WOULD I GO BACK? Maybe. I liked the ambiance and the option to try dishes that are usually meat heavy but the cuisine is not my personal favorite.

Came in on a Sunday afternoon and sat at the bar, the atmosphere was exactly what I needed. Quiet,…read morerelaxed, not too loud or busy. A really nice vibe overall. The service was excellent. My bartender Lewis/Luis was incredibly attentive, frequently checking in to see how everything was going. He also recommended the Avocado Sushi with truffle miso to go alongside the Bang Bang Broccoli I had already ordered, and it was a great call. The Bang Bang Broccoli is good the tempura is well done and the sauce is delicious but after a couple of bites, the sauce starts to overpower the broccoli and becomes a little too saucy and salty. I found myself reaching for water more than I expected. The Avocado Sushi had a really beautiful smoky, rich flavor, though I do wish they'd pack a little less rice. With so much rice in each piece, it's hard to get a balanced bite cutting it down by half would make it perfect. The Matchatini was a standout. Creamy on top, with just the right amount of alcohol not overpowering at all, just enough to complement the matcha. As tempting as it was to order another one, I wanted to savor the moment, and I'm glad I did. For dessert, I had my eye on the Matcha Sandwich Cookies with ice cream, but they were sold out. Fellow reviewers saved the day though, pointing me to the Matcha Cheesecake and they were 110% correct. That cheesecake did not disappoint. Though it didn't seem to be a lot of food but I couldn't even finish it on my own so I got it to go.

The space was super clean, calm, and had a vibe that felt authentic to the cuisine. The staff was also incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and fast, which made the whole experience even better. But the food is what really blew me away. I got the Korean Wild Green Tea First Picked, and it was unreal. Yes, it had that beautiful green tea character, but it was so much more layered than that--smooth, complex, almost naturally sweet, and honestly one of the most memorable teas I've had anywhere. I also ordered the iced matcha latte, and it was easily the best matcha latte I've ever had: no grittiness at all, just incredibly smooth, creamy, and perfectly balanced. We also had the baby dumplings in spicy sauce, popcorn shrimp, fried Manchurian cauliflower, spicy kimchi pancakes, Peking duck baos, and the duck rice bowl. Every single dish was excellent. I'm still baffled by how well they nailed the shrimp texture--seriously impressive. The flavors across the board were rich, creative, and satisfying without feeling heavy. If you're in Murray Hill and want a standout vegan lunch or dinner, or you're just looking for one of the best plant-based restaurants in Manhattan, Franchia is absolutely worth going out of your way for.
