Stopped by Mezeh on 53rd street and Broadway before the lunch time rush and all of the food was prepared and already hot and ready! I got my own custom bowl with a mix of basically everything! I got the basmati rice with chicken shwarma, with a bunch of sides. It really hit the spot, the bowl was gigantic! And hubby got a lamb wrap, this wrap already came with pre-selected toppings so hubby did not have to think about what toppings. He liked his wrap. Note this location does not have a sit-in area, it is only a takeout spot! So come prepared! Food was good, hit the spot for me. And service was quick, probably because it was before the lunch rush hour. Overall, we'd return, food was good and bountiful!

Stopped by Mezeh in Midtown West for a healthy dinner takeout salad. It's a fast-casual spot, similar to Chipotle, where you can choose from premade bowls or customize your own as you move down the line. I ordered the spicy herb chicken salad bowl, which came with a generous mix of vegetables, nuts, and a choice of dips. I had the spicy feta dip and spicy cilantro dressing, and overall but the salad had a spicy kick to it (not sure if it was the spicy chicken, spicy feta or the dressing). The portion was decent and came with a side of pita, but I found myself still a little hungry after finishing the salad, so I ended up eating the pita too, which I normally would've skipped. The total came to about $15 without a drink. I'd go back, but next time I'd probably opt for lunch rather than dinner.

I really enjoyed my meal here! The toppings and ingredients were incredibly fresh, varied, and high quality, creating a flavorful and satisfying experience. The generous portions of fresh veggies and healthy grain options like black lentils and brown rice were a standout--I loved how balanced and nourishing the bowl felt overall. You definitely get your money's worth too! I was able to split this into two filling meals. The only thing that fell a little short was the chicken. The pieces were quite small--more like tiny chunks than bite-sized portions--and the amount of protein felt a bit light compared to everything else. That said, the freshness, variety, and balance of flavors more than made up for it, and I'd still highly recommend this spot. With a little more focus on protein portions, it could easily be a five-star experience!

So hungry I didn't even bother taking a nice photo, the food taste better than what this photo looks like!!

Amazing!! I used to go to the sweetgreen nearby all the time but ever since sweetgreen did some shuffling of their Ingredients, I stopped going there as much. I've been looking for a salad/grain bowl replacement and look no further - this place has my heart! I got their mezze bowl and the chicken kebab bowl - they both have chicken as the protein. You can easy remove items as well. They also have the felafel bowl for those that are vegetarian/vegan. I love that they don't incorporate the sauce in the bowl by default, and it's provided on the side. The portion size is also huge and great price as well. They also provide a complimentary pita bread on the side if needed. I ordered my item online and picked up in store and the process was simple and easy. I highly recommend giving this place a try if you're looking for a quick healthy meal.

My husband texted me and asked me to pick up something for dinner from Mezeh on my way home because he didn't want to order a hamburger a pizza. Being a good spouse, I stopped by after I got off the subway and popped in for a wrap. This was around 6:00 pm and it wasn't busy so the lady took my order and promptly began making my steak wrap. All the ingredients looked fresh and it tasted delicious. It was about $18 but it was big enough for two so that works out to a decent deal. Much better than having a burger and fries. This is a great addition to the neighborhood. In the 10+ years I've lived there, nothing has ever lasted long in this space so I'm hoping Mezeh breaks the curse!

I love that you can choose as many toppings as you want, it was great and my bowl was super full. Did not skimp on the amounts at all and were happy to add more if I asked. While overall not bad, the bowl was really just not fresh. The ingredients felt a little flat or maybe just unflavorful. Maybe I added too many different things but the bowl just didn't taste great to me. Even the chicken was kinda bland. It's a pretty solid meal if you're hungry it just doesn't taste amazing or anything.

One of my favorite types of foods.......Mediterranean. Mezeh is Mediterranean with a fast food feel but healthier than typical fast food. So many options to choose from and I like the large array of options. I am a huge fan of "build my own" bowls so my meal is completely tailored towards my taste. Mezeh has more ingredient options than Taim (another popular Mediterranean eatery). The only thing that was missing was they were sold out of garlic butter as the topping. The chicken was tender, juicy with a nice kick of spices. Love the couscous balls and seasoned corn. You can choose a build your own bowl, flatbread wrap or pita pocket. If you want a meal that has preselected toppings give one of the lifestyle bowls a try. Wanting a sweet treat after your meal choose from baklava or a cookie. The staff was very quick getting your meal to you which is paramount when your on your lunch hour. Reasonable priced for the quality of food which is made in-house every day from all natural and fresh ingredients. Sadly there are no seats in this location so you surely need to get your food to go so there isn't any ambiance to speak off.

I was a fan of Mezeh prior to moving to NYC so I was glad to hear them opening up a couple of locations in Manhattan! Serving solid casual Mediterranean food, Mezeh allows you to make your own bowls/wraps in addition to their preset orders. What I appreciate about Mezeh over other similar chains like Cava and Naya is that Mezeh has more cooked veggie options, and way more side/topping options! Their chicken shawarma was tasty as was the chicken kabob but the steak shawarma was a little overcooked. The caramelized eggplant and spicy hummus were as good as how I remembered. Cous cous and the salads were pretty standard too. The harissa sauce is still my fav because of its spicy and creamy flavors. I ordered via food delivery service so there wasn't as much sauce as I had hoped. You can mix and match your base as well as add more protein. Portions were generous. Unfortunately they forgot to add my dry toppings (crunchy chickpeas, sunflower seeds). Hoping to go in person next time!

Recently tried this GEM in midtown- It was recommended by a work friend and it was so worth it. Great option for lunch especially in midtown craziness. They have really generous portions and also on the healthier end. Friendly and efficient staff and Yes with amazingly decent prices. This has become my new go to for lunch.MUST TRY!

I always walk by this place and wanted to try. Today before I go home, I got a chance to try. I liked the staff very much. They are very welcoming. Service was excellent. I checked out the menu and they have a selection for everyone. I really like the ambiance and restaurant's vibe. Unfortunately it's only taken out. I ordered a chicken shawarma mix bowl with us. It was extremely flavorful and very yummy. So delicious. All the spices combined so well. Now, this place will be my new favorite Mediterranean take out place. I really can't wait to try other options too. Welcome Mezeh to the neighborhood.

I ordered delivery. This amount of lamb (which was not 6 oz as claimed) cost almost $14. The salad was also very mid and stingy. Like another reviewer said, they are very stingy with protein. It didn't even fill to the top. I will not be ordering from here again.

    Kebob and bulgar bowl.

The chicken kebob and bulgar bowl is simply not good. If I didn't get it to go, I might return it for a refund. There's a grain in here that is like crunchy and hard, and definitely not in a good way, like undercooked rice.

Mezeh seems to be one of those sneaky spots you can speed past on the way to the subway, but their food is certainly worth catching the following B, D, or E train. It's a small but simple hot food bar sort of spot with more than a handful of options. Vegans/vegetarians, believe they've got y'all covered. I went with the Chicken Bob bowl which contains chicken kebab along with white rice, hummus, feta cheese, Turkish salad, and a plethora of other plants that'll satisfy the diet you swore you were gonna start yesterday. The lead actor of this motion picture, the chicken kebab, was a bit dry on the first bite. Considering it's sitting under a light for a while, I'll grant them some grace here. The less than ideal texture is met with great flavor, courtesy of a number of spices. The Turkish salad, feta cheese, and hummus came to save the day for sure. Lots of moisture, juices, salts, tanginess, and freshness that all hits you in one bite. The rice was especially moist and almost buttery in terms of its texture, so that helped a lot with incorporating the other members of the bite. The pickled beets were also a noticeable player: we love a good jab of acidity alongside some meat and salad. I will say the small scoop of hummus was a bit of a bummer, but for what it's worth it packs taste and the desirable thickness that hummus is known to wear on its jersey. The pita bread that comes with the bowl was pretty standard, certainly does its diligence especially in terms of adding texture to what's in the bowl. The bowl I had here was a strum of so many different notes and I'm all here for the show. Especially considering how adjacent this spot is to the commute, I'll be back for more.

2 big scoops of rice, huge portion of corn and almost no protein.

Great fresh food, fair price and large portion. No place to sit but for the Theatre District, this grab and go place is a gem.

We were lead upstairs to a table. There were 7 of us The seating was cozy but not cramped. We started with 7 family style small dishes: Hummus with Falafel Pops (chickpea purée, tahini, falafel, olive oil), Spring Burrata (roasted cherry tomatoes, toast, basil oil), Hamachi Crudo (passionfruit vinaigrette, citrus zest, cucumber, mint, sesame tuile), Scallops (carrot puree, serrano pepper, brown butter sauce), Tenderloin Skewer (zaatar chimichurri, fresh herb salad), and Shiitake Stuffed Grape Leaves (tomato coulis, yogurt foam, herbs). Everything was delicious. The hummus was well seasoned the falafel had a nice crunch. It went well with the warm puffy gyro bread that came to the table. The burrata was wasm and creamy. I love the vinaigrette on the fish. I ended up eating most of it. The scallops were the sweetest, most tender ones I have ever had. The tenderloin skewers were tender and well seasoned. I liked the grape leaves but the rice consistency was very soft almost mushy and you can barely tell there were mushrooms. There was barely any mushrooms flavor. Next we all chose an entree. I got the duck breast, my husband and daughter each had the beef tenderloin. The duck breast was smaller than i expected. The skin was nicely seared and very crispy but boy did it give my jaw a workout. It was done medium rare. It was juicy but tough. The small beef tenderloin was tender and smoky. The waiter poured the sauce over the tenderloin for added flavor. Finally dessert was a fruit plate with ice cream and pudding. The fruit was fresh and the flavors of the ice cream and pudding unique. It was a nice end to a good brunch. The price was a little expensive at $85 a person.
