Came here for takeout on a Sunday evening. Ordered the lamb and beef pita and was told they were out of lamb...Got chicken and beef instead. It tasted fine and they prepare it in front of you, Subway sandwich style. Service was fast, no line. Limited seating, takeout ambiance. Near Times Square.

I came here because I heard about this spot when there was a chain closer to Grand Central Terminal. Since it was on my list I had to check it out. This is a build your own bowl spot or you can go with pre-made one. Please note that the prices on the website do not reflect the revised menu prices at the restaurant. I ordered the chicken doner one and everything was good about it, but how everything was portioned out didn't seem to match.

Gave Dill and Parsley a try and it was ehh. The falafel is amazing and so flavorful, it was probably the best part of the bowl. However, there was just too much of everything else going on that it ended up falling flat. It wasn't that flavorful besides the falafel, the falafel was bursting with flavor. It was also kind of over priced. Customer service was good, my food was made fast. And there is also ample seating inside the store and it wasn't too busy. It should have been $9-$10, not $14. Price: $14 Rating: 6/10

A worthy Cava competitor. We got a wrap and bowl and they were both healthy, hearty and tasty. If you have not been here ... think Chipotle but with Mediterranean food....and better.

Came by for lunch the other day and it was a mediocre experience. Opted for the meatball wrap and the staff said I had to wait for them to make it, meaning that customizations weren't available. The wrap ended up with too much rice as well as too spicy from the peppers...bummer. Definitely come early before the lunch rush and there was a line out the door during the peak lunch rush!

I tried this place for the first time and their pita sandwich was really good! I got hummus, falafel, veggie and Tahini sauce and it tasted delicious! The size is pretty big so it's was more than enough for me. If you sign up for reward, you can receive $2 off for your first order so I got this puta sandwich for just $8! I recommend this if you like Mediterranean and haven't tried yet!

Terrible service experience. The staff are dishonest, lazy, and liars. I reserved a meal from the restaurant next door (Springbone Kitchen) through ClassPass. When I arrived there was a sign on the door saying they were closed. I walked next door to Dill & Parsley which was also accepting orders on ClassPass, but I thought to try visiting before reserving my meal first. When I tried opening the door, the gentleman inside sitting in the food prep area gestured and told me they were closed. The time was 4:10PM on Sunday. Based on Yelp's hours they should have been open. I sat at a table outside to request a refund from ClassPass for the closed restaurant next door. When I got up, 10 minutes later, I saw two customers eating inside and a delivery person walking in to pick up an order. Of course the person who initially told me they were closed chose to hide. I came back 5 minutes later to see the same 2 customers still eating and that lying staff member was working. Dishonest, misleading, and not worth your money or time

I ordered via DoorDash for pickup for lunch. There was a line out the door so def recommend ordering ahead of time. My order was ready and was placed in the back corner on the shelf for all the delivery/pickup orders. I made my own bowl and chose chicken. Added a side of falafel and puffed pita. The bowl was okay, not as flavorful, esp the chicken. The falafel was on the smaller side but the puffed pita was good. It is a nice lunch option if nearby.

Stoooed here for lunch . Staff wasn't friendly. This was my first time here so had questions about what everything was and the menu they appeared annoyed. It was around 2pm so it was empty. I got a salad bowl it was lack luster with barely any content, substance or flavor unfortunately

Kinda expensive but the Mediterranean version of chipotle, food was good, casual fast food vibes

Bowl with chicken, brown rice, lettuce, eggplant, tahini sauce, potatoes, babaganoush, hummus, feta cheese, and beans

Great healthy fast casual spot with Mediterranean flavors. It's Chipotle-style ordering, so you pick the ingredients you want up front. I got a bowl with chicken, lettuce, brown rice, eggplant, tahini sauce, babaganoush, and hummus, along with some other ingredients. Each ingredient tasted fresh and delicious, and they went together nicely. Specifically, the chicken was tender and the lettuce had a nice bit of lemon flavor. The bowl also seemed pretty healthy, as it was basically all natural foods. The portion size was quite large, so the price of around $15 was decent. Although this location is conveniently near Times Square, there were surprisingly only a couple other people in the restaurant, with no line to order (this was a weekday night). The worker there was very friendly and helpful. The interior is clean with a handful of tables for seating. Overall, if you are looking for a Mediterranean twist or slight upgrade from the ordinary Chipotle-style restaurant, definitely give Dill & Parsley a try. It might not have had anything special enough to warrant 5 stars, but it certainly earns a solid 4 stars from me.

A Hidden Gem That Completely Changed My Perspective on Vegan Food…read more Yesterday was my first visit to Le Botaniste, and I honestly wasn't sure what to expect. The storefront and fresh drinks first caught my attention, so I thought it was mostly a juice or beverage spot. The moment I walked inside, I realized it was so much more. The restaurant has a warm, inviting atmosphere, and everything looked incredibly fresh. You can immediately tell they take pride in the quality of their food. The highlight of our visit was the exceptional customer service from Alan. He welcomed us with a smile, took the time to explain the menu, answered all of our questions, and gave us recommendations based on what we were looking for. His knowledge and enthusiasm made choosing our meals easy. Alan recommended their most popular bowl, the Pasta Bolognese, and mentioned it was also his personal favorite. After just one bite, I understood why. It was rich, hearty, full of flavor, and if no one had told me it was vegan, I never would have guessed. It has officially become one of my favorite plant-based meals. For my mother, Alan recommended the seasonal Mediterranean Bowl, and it was another excellent choice. I asked her if she enjoyed it, and her response was simple: "Yes... and I want more." That pretty much says it all. The drinks were also fresh, refreshing, and paired perfectly with our meals. Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with anything on their drink menu. Even if you're not vegan, don't let that stop you from trying this place. Le Botaniste proves that plant-based food can be comforting, satisfying, and packed with incredible flavor. A huge thank you to Alan for making our first visit such a memorable one. Great food is important, but great hospitality makes people want to come back. Needless to say, I'll definitely be back to work my way through the rest of the menu.

I came on a weeknight with a reservation, was seated right away, and sat at the bar before a Broadway show. The bartender/server was very nice, attentive, and helpful when I asked for recommendations. I ordered the carrot bisque, scallop paella, and a lavender martini. The food was flavorful, and it was my first time trying hearts of palm. I'm not vegan and eat seafood, so I wasn't expecting the "scallops" to taste like actual seafood. They were made to look like scallops, which was a fun touch, but the texture was different. Overall, the paella was enjoyable and made for a unique dining experience. The lavender martini was interesting, but not for me. It had a floral, citrusy flavor that reminded me a little of perfume or floral soap. It wasn't unbearable. It was just not my personal preference. Service was efficient. Definitely on the pricey side and feels more like a treat, but life is too short to worry too much especially for a nice meal before a Broadway show. I'll definitely come back next time I'm in the area.

Since we were there for brunch, I decided to try the P.S. Breakfast ($22) which is tofu scramble, spinach, portobello mushrooms, and corn muffins. My friend got the P.S. Burger ($20) with a gluten-free bun ($2). For the breakfast, the portobello mushrooms were the highlight of the dish. They were very juicy and had strong umami flavor! I love spinach even plain, but I think it could have used a touch more seasoning. The tofu scramble was seasoned, but it could either use more seasoning or more moisture. The corn muffins were dry and crumbly, definitely the worst part of the dish. My friend said that the sauce brought the burger together and hid the fact that it's a Beyond burger. She also mentioned that she didn't feel heavy after eating the burger, which was nice. Despite us telling the restaurant that we had to go to a musical, service was on the slower side. My friend also had to try several times to get to the bathroom, since someone was always inside. However, the staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. I would only recommend P.S. Kitchen if you have a dietary restriction and want a restaurant that has a relaxed ambiance before your Broadway show.

Beyond Sushi was in Midtown near where I was staying, so I ended up coming here---on Valentine's Day, which happened to be a mistake! Since I didn't have a reservation, the lady who checked me in told me I had to find a seat at the bar. Her attitude was not the best, as when I looked over the menu and made a decision on what I wanted to get, she dismissed me when I waved her over, saying she is not the person taking orders. Um, okay? Then who is? One guy at the bar was nicer, and was able to take my order. I started off with a hot tea since NYC was cold in February, and then decided to have as much as I could of two dishes---the "chicken" yakitori skewers and the Korean BBQ skillet. The skewers came in a set of two, with a white mayo-like sauce drizzle and pickled cucumber on the side. Super delectable, though very filling because of the protein! The skillet was made with classic Chunk Foods protein, the go-to plant-based option for all the meat dishes at City Roots restaurants as far as I know. This was incredibly filling, but the sauce and the texture were all around delicious as well. I could NOT bother to finish the brussels sprouts the skillet came with---way too much to stomach, and I was going to focus on the "meats" since I can always have brussels any other time! The bill by the end of it was PRICEY. That's why I only go to one of these restaurants as a special treat when I visit NYC. Watch out if you order hot tea...$13!! I guess that's the NYC way, but still!
