Very happy to have found Dill & Parsley as a new work lunch spot! In a sea of unhealthy OVERLY salted fast casual bowl/lunch spots in midtown (I'm looking at you, Chipotle, Springbone Kitchen next door and others), the food here is appropriately salted and still flavorful. Not to mention you can actually TASTE THE FRESHNESS! The greens do not look sad, dry or wilted like other fast casual spots. The meat is antibiotic and hormone free. HIGH QUALITY ingredients are being used and you can really see and taste it! I think some of the other reviewers that say this spot is not flavorful only say that because they are too used to consuming over their daily recommended sodium intake in their lunch bowls... I love the variety of sides available too. Much more variety than just the traditional hummus, babaganoush, pickles that you may see in other Mediterranean spots (though they do also have the classics). Service was quick. Upsides; fast service, cheap price (for the area), relatively healthy and you can get small or large sizes. The small bowl is great for a snack or light meal. The larger bowls are substantial. Wraps and Pita sort of fill in the sizes between. The falafel was great (and I'm picking about them). Portions were generous in the wrap, and the tahini sauce was spot on. The place was very clean, had a restroom for customers and the staff was very friendly. Not so great: My son got the beef. It was bland at best when I tried some. But - why would you not get the falafel? You order at one end and add everything to your bowl as you walk. The servers are fast, helpful at explaining what everything is if you need it, as I did, and friendly. I got a half-and-half bowl of their mixed salad and white rice with chicken. I added lots of things to my bowl. I started with red lentil dip, then cucumbers, carrot and cabbage salad, feta, olives, and the white sauce. It was a good combo, and there wasn't a line, so that was even better. read more

I was hungry after seeing a show so decided to stumble into Dill & Parsley. The space inside is clean and very clear to those walking past it outside. Inside, the service is really rushed and I didn't find the staff that helpful when making selections. There was a wide variety of options - I think of it like a Mediterranean Chipotle. The options are similar to Cava. Overall, I'd say the food portion was really really small and for the price that I paid I don't think I got the best value. I decided to go for a bowl as my dish. Even the items like The Fit Bowl weren't even that large of sizes either. I'd assume everything was health-conscious but I didn't find the value of it to deliver. read more

Gave Dill and Parsley a try and it was ehh. The falafel is amazing and so flavorful, it was probably the best part of the bowl. However, there was just too much of everything else going on that it ended up falling flat. It wasn't that flavorful besides the falafel, the falafel was bursting with flavor. It was also kind of over priced. Customer service was good, my food was made fast. And there is also ample seating inside the store and it wasn't too busy. It should have been $9-$10, not $14. Terrible service experience. The staff are dishonest, lazy, and liars. I reserved a meal from the restaurant next door (Springbone Kitchen) through ClassPass. When I arrived there was a sign on the door saying they were closed. I walked next door to Dill & Parsley which was also accepting orders on ClassPass, but I thought to try visiting before reserving my meal first. When I tried opening the door, the gentleman inside sitting in the food prep area gestured and told me they were closed. The time was 4:10PM on Sunday. Based on Yelp's hours they should have been open. I sat at a table outside to request a refund from ClassPass for the closed restaurant next door. When I got up, 10 minutes later, I saw two customers eating inside and a delivery person walking in to pick up an order. Of course the person who initially told me they were closed chose to hide. I ordered via DoorDash for pickup for lunch. There was a line out the door so def recommend ordering ahead of time. My order was ready and was placed in the back corner on the shelf for all the delivery/pickup orders. I made my own bowl and chose chicken. Added a side of falafel and puffed pita. There was a hair in one of the sauces. I told the employee. He tried to scoop out the hair got half of it. And left the rest inside. Not taking the sauce back to kitchen. Dishonest place. Was charged for 3 sides but only given a choice for 2. They want to do their orders quick and efficient but staff makes lots of mistakes. Cashier never says how much they charge and doesn't display on the screen. They just expect you to tap to pay. Not sure if prices increased, but haven't been here in a month or so and was charged $17.75 for my order. Just did a bowl. Last I remembered it was in the $15 range but less than $16. Each ingredient tasted fresh and delicious, and they went together nicely. Specifically, the chicken was tender and the lettuce had a nice bit of lemon flavor. The bowl also seemed pretty healthy, as it was basically all natural foods. The portion size was quite large, so the price of around $15 was decent. Although this location is conveniently near Times Square, there were surprisingly only a couple other people in the restaurant, with no line to order (this was a weekday night). The worker there was very friendly and helpful. The interior is clean with a handful of tables for seating. Overall, if you are looking for a Mediterranean twist or slight upgrade from the ordinary Chipotle-style restaurant, definitely give Dill & Parsley a try. I was hurrying by here in a rush to catch a bus, and it looked so nice and clean, and offers "healthier" food that I need to eat more, that I decided to double back and give them a try. I did feel a little bit "upsold" because I did ask for a small bowl, but ended with a full size bowl. Very pleasant staff and got me out the door in less than 5 minutes. The food was very fragrant for my bus ride, so I'm not sure if they garlicky smell was appreciated or not, but when I got it home it was really tasty and fresh. The chicken, rice, hummus were amazing frankly. The kale greens with walnuts, unique and tasty too. All together it was about $13 I had no idea that there were so many locations for this new offering. I'll be keeping my eye out for them and know I can count on quality. Went back this evening and had a different experience. Two people working up front, the lady who helped me mumbled the whole encounter. Delicious food! Love the beef tava bowl. My only complaint is that the serving amounts are incredible inconsistent. I've ordered the beef tava 3 times and each time it's been completely different, the first time I'd say I got like 3 good tablespoon fulls of the beef, the second time it was like 2 spoon fulls; and now I just ordered it and got like 1 tiny spoonful of the beef...which is the star of the dish, it's why I could pay $20+ dollars for the dish. Also the sides are inconsistent- last time I got potatoes and there was a healthy serving of them on the side of the beef and hummus, diced tiny and baked like fries almost or potato hash...this time there's barely any and it was placed under the beef, which made it *look* like there was more beef, and they got super soggy from being under the tiny serving of beef.
