I love a good little roadside food shack like this. I ordered the fish fry dinner and it was great. The fish was cooked to a golden brown, and it was crispy and perfect. Better then some of the other places I have tried. Little Big Fats gives you a really generous portion as well. I decided to go with onion rings instead of fries and that was a good choice as well. My meal was washed down with a strawberry milkshake. They have exceptional ice cream. The girls who work behind the counter were very nice and had great customer skills. They have plenty of outdoor seating and some indoor seating. Very clean establishment. Everything here is great if no one else is there. If there are more than three people there expect your order to be wrong when you get it. Children shouldn't be running the front end of a business. Spent $50 on 2 fish fry's , order of onion rings and 4 cheeseburgers sliders. I had a less than a minute drive to my house. Everything was cold not even warm. Fish cold , fires cold, onion rings cold, and burgers cold. The only thing I expected to be cold was my soda and that was warm with no ice. Def not worth the price. The food here is terrible and ridiculously expensive. I'm assuming mark-ups on his food items are close to 100%. I so much want to like this place because I love the idea of the place, but the cooks are so young & inexperienced they cannot cook well at all. Burgers are awful. Buns are ALWAYS stale, no matter if on burger, dog or fish fry. It's so frustrating after you pay over $10 for a simple burger and the bun is hard and crunchy... and stale. They also don't cook their fish long enough and it comes out undercooked. I cannot wait to never set foot in this place again. If you're going to spend over $20 per person, I suggest improving your experience by not going here. read more

Ordered 2 lunch specials which consisted of a fish fry, Cole slaw, and fries. We substituted onion rings on one order. The order came very quickly but I noticed it we didn't have the Cole slaw with either order. When I asked I was told they were out of the Cole slaw, but that they had doubled up on the fries and onion rings. It didn't really look like it, but it would have been nice to know before I ordered. The fish fry and onion rings were good, but the double fries were also double cooked and dark. So, a disappointing visit. Just okay today. read more

Owned by Albert Deeb whose family owns Ted's Fish Fry and Jack's Drive-In, you know the food here is going to be good. In light of this, I decided to give Little Big Fatz a try. I ordered a fish fry, french fries, and a shack burger. To start, the fish fry was sterling and crispy. Also, the fish itself was juicy and fresh. In other respects, the shack burger was enjoyable. To explain, the meat was flavorful and tender. In addition, the brioche bun was great and the grilled onions added nice spirit. Next, I tried the french fries and I like them very much. The fries were crunchy and palatable. I didn't try any ice cream, but I definitely will in the future. Nope. The girl who took our order was nice. That's where it ended. Bees swarm you at the window where you order. Bees swarm you at the tables. You have to eat in your car. The indoor dining area is dinky and chilled like a meat locker. The whole exterior of the building, dumpsters, and eating areas are just awful. Not at all appetizing. I always think that if management isn't tending to issues like this- buy garbage cans with the swinging lids for a start - they aren't tending to lots of other things. Fish fry was flaming hot when I got it which is good but it had a funny almost chemical flavor when hot. Onion rings were good. Expensive but every place is. I'd rather stay home and have frozen pizza. If you are allergic to bees def. avoid. read more

Last few years have been coming here for ice cream. My favorite was always a small twist on a cone since they had big portions. First one I ordered this year was more like a kiddie cone. Being understanding the next time I ordered a medium twist and the ice cream is just not the same. I could not keep it on the cone. Thinking it was a fluke, the third time I ordered the same, and again it would not stay on the cone in just 73° weather. It also tastes more like moose and has a lot of air in it now. I have been many times but this last experience wasnt good. First of all the place needed to be cleaned . all available tables and floor extemely dirty. While i waited to order I saw two wrong orders of ice cream get thrown in the garbage. I then got my order which again was incorrect. I ordered a single fish fry and onion rings . I was asked if I wanted a combo I replied " only if it comes with with onion rings and not fries because I dont want fries" . I recieved a combo w/fries and was charged additionally for onion rings. again more food thrown in garbage. They also do the upcharge on debit cards which is not legal Ive been told. that charge only applies to credit cards. the girls have been advised but charge anyway. oops forgot food was cold and the cocktail sauce for fish was solid frozen read more

LBF does so many things right for an ice cream/fey house. Fish fry is great, fried clams available too. Awesome philly's for about 9 bucks. All the food comes out hot and pretty quickly as well. Kitchen looks very clean as far as I can tell from the window. Good outdoor seating options and creek out back for kids to throw rocks into. Soft serve ice cream really creamy and hard ice cream available too. Try the Boston, a milk shake with a sundae on the top! My new go to summer place in Wynantskill! read more
