The pizza is horrible. It's like stale cheesy bread with pepperoni. Honestly, frozen pizza is better than this. Yuck!!

The food looked great, reviews were positive, so I decided to give it a try. Wow, what a find! It's a nice, clean little place with plenty of parking this afternoon, and it appeared to be in the "old town" portion of Pueblo, which I hadn't been to, and was a nice change. I was greeted by Alicia, who had a great attitude, and gave us the breakdown on the different choices for our lunch/early dinner. We ordered the wings, jumbo shrimp (which really were jumbo), tater tots, and a two piece combo. Alicia went the extra mile to provide us with each sauce to sample, as she was excited for us to try them all. The chicken was juicy, cooked just right, and delicious! The shrimp were huge and tasty, and the tartar sauce and cocktail sauce that they came with were perfect. Our favorite sauces were the ranch, dill ranch, buffalo, hot honey, and the habanero. Great food, at a great price, and each serving was just right. One of the great places I hope to re-visit soon. Highly recommend!

The coleslaw and pasta salad were both good, little heavy on the mayonnaise but overall flavor and freshness was good. I would consider their pasta salad to be more similar to a tradition "maccaroni salad". The fried Mac and cheese balls are also nicely done with a nice creamy cheesy inside and little crisp on the outside. Overall everything was delicious particularly for being a delivery order. I would eat here again.

Please note this is a buffet that serves chicken and wedges in their buffet. Not sure what would possibly take 30 minutes. On top of that I just witnessed an employee come from the back with a raw pizza dough crust in their hands. Trying to support local but the long wait mixed with the questionable sanitary practices. Will never be back. Also did not ask if veteran status but asked others. My man is a veteran. Pretty sad for a place that claims to glorify God positively impacting the world. Should have gone to KFC. Another cashier took over the counter and finally asked for a status. The food was done. Had been done long enough to soak grease spots through the boxes. We sat there long enough for people we saw come to eat leave. Should have checked the boxes before we left but were ready to get home. Got it home and there is a big piece torn off one of the breast. No way do I feel comfortable eating this food. Solidifying to never eat here again and advise my employer to stop any future bulk orders. No way to run a business.

I also appreciated the service and the young lady taking our order also told me they can custom make pizzas according to my preferences. Upon her recommendation I got a vegetable pizza without the cheese. Came in a small size but still, it was good. I loved the softness and quality of the crust. They had so many options of pizza that they offered which looked delectable and they were unlimited, all you can eat, but not for me. As a vegan at least they had my custom pizza that they could veganize for me which was pretty good. I would come here again and bring my kids. They had a game room and arcades here as well and it's a great place for families.

Pros: Walking in the hostess was helping another couple but did acknowledge us. She went to sit the couple and another staff apologized and said that she will be right with us. We were sat outside and immediately were given water. Our waiter, who I can't remember his name, talked to us and took our drink order. My husband ordered a beer and me an iced tea. He gave us a few minutes before coming back to take our order. We started with the green chili fries and when they came out they were very good. I do wish there was a little bit of spice to it, but not a con. I even ordered a cup of green chili with my shrimp tacos. And my husband ordered the slopper. I loved the shrimp tacos, that I got the lettuce instead of a tortilla. I would highly order and recommend. Husband loved the slipper. He said if you don't see the fries or bun, assume your eating it all. Our waiter is very knowledgeable and was quick with his recommendations. He answered a burger question when asked and took his time with us. We did not feel rushed. My husband also ordered a beer flight and found some he enjoyed. All the staff worked together and matched our personality. Well, my husband's personality. We ended up ordering 3 cups if green chili with their chips. The salsa had a nice kick, mild kick, because they added green chilis to it. It tasted home made. When we had a minor issue with the bill, our waiter took charge and without hesitation took to fix it. We of course had to order dessert. Our waiter came back within minutes to inform some of the desserts were sold out but offered a replacement. I got the peach pie and my husband got the chocolate cake. The peach pie was a perfect mini size Cons: My husband was surprised the manager wasn't walking around ensuring everything ran smoothly. I honestly don't see it as a con. Also, the parking lot is small and when it gets busy I can see walking from another block over. There are 3 spots for the hotel and 4 spots that are a 2 hour limit. Recommended? Absolutely yes. Great food and excellent staff. Everyone here is friendly and seems excited to help the customers. We will definitely be back. And maybe stay at the hotel and walk over to enjoy a hamburger or more shrimp tacos with a cup of green chili

Since we hadn't been here in five years, I mentioned to our waiter how much I was craving a bowl, and he went out of his way to make it happen. That level of service alone made the visit memorable. I also ordered the Velvet Smoke mezcal cocktail, and wow, it was exceptional. Smooth, perfectly balanced, and not too strong. The smoky notes were present but not overpowering, and the nixta slate liqueurs, or heat and bitters brought everything together beautifully. Great service, great drinks, and a team that's willing to go the extra mile. Definitely worth the stop.

Today the entire restaurant is covered in smoke, can barely breath. The staff tells you. Oh 2-3 min wait. After about ten you can hear the kitchen staff say the meal you ordered just went in fryer and it will take another 10-15 min. Ridiculous at this point. Update 12/16: Walked in cause daughter really wanted Popeyes. Against my better judgement I came. Drove up to find all the doors open.... why you ask? Cause apparently the place was still smokey. Maybe it is a new thing from corporate to make you leave smelling like chicken? Not sure. Customer service was a lot better this time so I have given a star back. Hopefully they get the smoke issue taken care of. Unless again this is a corporate thing for Popeyes. If so maybe reconsider this and change policy. Or get the vents fixed. Either way it should probably go. Although now before I left they say and I quote "umm, sir on your sides we don't have any lids, how would you like me to wrap them?" Umm, I don't know, you are the restaurant. You tell me how I am supposed to transport my mash potatoes and Mac and cheese. After a few seconds I suggested using a larger lid and putting some tape down. Or they could just put my single sides in a large container. Not sure why I need to figure this out. Loss of one star. Back to 1 star overall Popeyes

I am beyond disappointed with this Popeyes location. I ordered the 12-piece family meal and…read morerequested a simple 50/50 mix of drums and thighs only. What I got instead looked like someone raided the leftovers bin: mostly chicken backs, two lonely thighs, and everything cooked to the point where it could double as building material. Seriously, these pieces were so hard I could've used them to patch my driveway. This place used to be decent, but the quality has gone downhill fast. I honestly don't understand how food like this makes it out of the kitchen. When your dog looks at the food and says, "No thanks, I'll just stick with kibble", that's when you know it's bad. Needless to say, this was my last trip. I will never go back to any Popeyes in Pueblo. Not worth the money, not worth the risk, and definitely not worth the dental bill if you try to bite into one of those "chicken" pieces. Save yourself the disappointment and head literally anywhere else.

Being from Chicago, I typically don't think of Pueblo Colorado as a "pizza town", but my daughter,…read morewho's spending time living here doing an internship, convinced us to visit anyway. She had been here numerous times and raved about their Romano specialty pizza. So on a hot and sunny afternoon, we opted to sit indoors, ditch the many dishes made with the local Pueblo Green Chile and dig into some pizza. The place itself has been here a while and features two floors of dining space - with the lower level opening up to outdoor seating on the famous riverwalk. Had it been just slightly cooler, we would've opted to sit outside. As it was like 100F we chose to seat inside which featured a view of the riverwalk from the second story. The space is big enough for large groups and parties and even featured a gelato bar. Our tandem of two waitresses (I think we came in between shifts) were both great and we wanted for nothing. I ordered a Breckenridge Vanilla Porter, which was tasty, but it unfortunately was not very cold. However, the Specialty Pizza Romana was absolutely a stand out. I guess the dough for this pizza is fermented and aged?!? Don't recall the exact process, but it was delicious. The pizza featured both a vodka marinara sauce and also pesto. It was topped with mozzarella, mortadella, prosciutto, capicola and salami. It was like eating an Italian sub on top of a pizza. All of it just worked together and made for a damn tasty pizza big enough to feed 4 adults. We were gonna try some other menu items, but there was only 3 of us and we were full after the pizza. So why 4 stars instead of 5? Aside from the lukewarm beer, we were joined at the table by an unusual amount of flies! I worked in restaurants and bars for years. I know flying pests are not completely in your control, but we spent a lot of time "shooing" and trying to swat pesty flies from the time the pizza hit the table until we took our last bite. Again, not a deal breaker, but more of an annoyance that prevented this from being a perfect lunch.
