I'll start with the two stars earned. The menu reads like it's going to be amazing and it's got an atmosphere that's bathed in whatever sunlight we can get in PNW. The food is way too expensive for what you're getting - and this is coming from a chef and caterer. The food is also WAY TOO effing SALTY. I get that you're likely wanting to get people to buy more alcohol with the saltiness but holy hell, guys, dial it BACK a notch or two! I've tried Little Conejo three separate times and 2/3 of the time the food was inedible it was so overly salted. And no, I'm not super sensitive to salt. I am, however, sensitive to paying people's wages by agreeing to outrageous pricing when the service is ABYSMAL. Nearly every employee I was unfortunate enough to have had to ask for something acted as if I had intruded on their day. By the fifth person encountered with this shitty attitude, I said, "Never again!" And I'm a big fan of bringing people to places I love with word of mouth. But this is a place I warn people with taste to stay away from. Pity. I really wanted to like this place. Just... unnecessarily disappointing. read more

A great spot to eat on a sunny day. India and outdoor seating is all nice with a casual yet upscale for an order-at-the-counter restaurant. The bar puts out delicious looking cocktails to complement your meal. I had the torta and it may have been the best torta I've ever had. The bread was charred just to the edge of hard and crunchy. But the juice from the carnitas softens it up just enough to make a wonderfully contrast-y and explosively delicious bite. read more

Oh my heavens, run don't walk! As a so cal girl raised on Rubio's Fish Tacos this place absolutely nails the fish taco. Crispy fish, all the right fixins and its fish taco nirvana! The side of chips, salsa and guacamole were delicious and plentiful. The side of rice and beans was also delicious. I love being able to have bottled soda from Mexico that uses real sugar (makes a huge difference)! Next time I'm going to try the margaritas. The location is easy to find, parking is typical. Service was outstanding, you order at the counter and they bring it to you. The inside is open and warm and inviting, I'll be a regular for sure! They have outside seating as well. read more

I was blown away with how good this place was! I wasn't very hungry, so I just ordered one carnitas taco with guacamole added. The corn tortilla was absolutely perfect and the guacamole was so good. The place is small and was packed inside, so we ordered at the counter and ate outside. It took maybe 10 minutes to get our food. If you're in the area, this is THE place to get tacos. read more

Mehhhh ! It was in my bookmarks for so long and I did feel slight FOMO since a lot of friends raved about it but now that I have been here ..I don't think I was missing much . I found the place mediocre at best. Mediocre service and mediocre food. The vibe of the place is cute and airy with a bright ambiance. There is both indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of both. We ordered at the bar and got seated with our drinks -my hubby ordered the Mezcal flight and i got the sun river brewing lager. The mezcal tasting flight is slightly on the pricier side and didn't really think it was worth the cost. They do have a good Mezcal collection at the bar though . When the tacos arrived the tortillas were soaking wet and breaking apart. We eventually had to eat them with a fork !! Needless to say it tasted unpleasant. They forgot our chips and guacamole order until we were almost done and had to remind them. The staff then begrudgingly put them in a to-go bag .The guacamole was subpar and tasted stale . The only thing that I liked was the fish taco because it was batter coated and hence not soggy yet . The pricing doesn't reflect the food they provide neither is the service . I can think of many better places for Tacos compared to them within a ten mile radius . read more

I've been here so many times and am still obsessed with this place. Their salsa is amazing so I always start with chips and salsa. My favorite taco is the Lengua, followed by the nopal. So unique and delicious and one of the only places that I know of to get a nopal taco around here. Their tortas are massive and so good. read more

This place had a line out the door before it even opened for brunch, but the line went quick. You order at the counter and they'll seat you. The space filled up quickly as well, so it's pretty popular. The carnitas hash was amazing! My fiancé had the chilaquiles and she said she liked that but not as much as my dish. We've always loved little conejo's guac and fish tacos, but they're one of the pricier taco places in Vancouver so they're not our typical "let's grab a bite" location. Little Conejo's relaxed environment and outdoor seating options make this the perfect summertime spot, but I've found myself venturing out this winter too. If you're in the area (or if you're up for a drive) I recommend the al pastor tacos paired with a margarita. I had heard great things about this place and was excited to finally check it out. I live in Happy Valley, so it was a bit of a drive, but I was taking my friend out for her birthday and thought it would be worth it. Unfortunately, we left feeling disappointed. From the moment we sat down, we felt rushed. A staff member came by every few minutes asking if we needed anything or if we were ready to order more--it quickly became uncomfortable. We had ordered plenty of food and were still eating, but it felt like we were being pushed out. There were still open tables around us, so it's not like they were slammed. By the time we actually finished eating and wrapped up, it hadn't even been more than a full hour. Order at the counter and they'll assign you a table, and food is delivered to you. Spectacular and huge torta. I had the chicken, which came on an expertly toasted roll and was overfilled with massive amounts of very tasty chicken. Ordered large guacamole and chips for the table and it was excellent. And the house salsa was possibly the best I've ever had; not especially hot, but perfect tasting. I could eat this salsa by itself. So good...I can't stop thinking about it!! We stopped by as I saw the patio was full so immediately thought the food must be good. We entered and had to wait about 15 minutes to place our order as they were limited on staff. The food arrived and the burrito didn't come with any salsa as we had to ask our server for it. Taste 7/10. The cheese quesadilla didn't come with salsa or sour cream, which I feel like those are two things it usually comes with. Taste 7/10. Would've been better with two dips. The restaurant was cozy and comfortable. Had lots of seating inside and outside. If I come back I would try the fish tacos. read more

These are some of my favorite things...... Margarita, especially the hibiscus one. I really enjoy the nopales tacos, they are my fav The only sucky part that I hate is parking! Not their fault though, great location, but man you gotta get lucky for parking. When that craving hits, it could be pouring rain hahahaha and you better walk. I'll still do it. Service is always friendly. Bar area looks inviting but I always go with with kids so I just stare from afar lol. If you come with a more than 3 def get the large chips, they have a refill. I was charmed by the name and the ambience but the food is not that great. Do people have that low of expectations of what great Mexican food is? There is so much cilantro over the tacos that you may as well just drown in soap. The best taco was the carrot pastor. The mushroom one was just.... like nobody put love into it. All slime and no flavor. The salsa? Good god, mild, little flavor. This is a great place if you love little to no spice and no flavors. Yikes, Vancouver, y'all can do better than this. read more

This place is conveniently located next to Esther short park which is also next to a parking garage. The food has honestly been different everytime I've been here. The carnitas is excellent however the corn tortilla is flimsy and fell apart.I also got the fish taco it's mahi mahi I believe, and I think it's good it's just too much breading for the fish. Also a HUGE fish on a little corn tortilla. Great service they were nice about us and our obnoxious stroller. It was clean, husband changed our son in the bathroom. If this review were just on the staff I would give it a 10 star rating. The staff here are great - friendly, helpful, inviting, and even when there's a line out the door they always have a smile. The real issue here is that the food is inconsistent. One day the beans and rice are perfectly seasoned, the next they are so salty they are inedible, and the next they're bland. Tonight I had the Americano torta and the cabbage salad. The beef in the torta was fried so hard that it was mostly crispy chunks that couldn't be distinguished from spicy wood chips, and the buns were burned with the bottom one being too greasy and soggy to be able to pick up. The cabbage salad was equally disappointing. I ended up throwing most of it all away and going home to have toast for dinner. Sadly, I doubt I'll be back again any time soon. read more

The ambiance was great, very Portland. The food tasted good but the carnitas and el pastor tacos were swimming in grease, so much so that we drained the plate and still couldn't eat them. This place has been on our radar for quite some time - our friends recommended this place for their margaritas. Our first attempt visiting was on a weekend night during lockdowns so it was busy with limited seating. Glad we waited until places started to open back up more this year because our meal was super tasty and it has been a loooong long time that I have had salsas and hot sauces that actually had some spice to them! Bueno!!! Thank goodness I have a partner who's willing to share, we basically tried the whole menu! Here's what we had: Tapas: Blistered jalapeños - 3 were more than enough for the 2 of us, tasty! Tacos: Lengua - really good, it's in a whole piece which adds to the pizzazz Suadero - this one was probably the least thrilling of the bunch but still good. Just a typical beef taco Cactus - I feel like cactus is finnicky, it's slimy, lacks flavor without seasoning. I was impressed with it for what they were handed! Sweet potato - this was on the specials list and mighty tasty. It was like a sweet potato skin smeared with adobo and tasty cheese. Oyster mushroom - yum! Packed with shrooms Norteño deluxe - loved this one. Had little crispy pork shoulder that was so flavorful probably one of my more favorites of the bunch Drinks: Charred lemon and rosemary mezcalrita - yum. These tacos are yummy. This is high end special occasion tacos. They offered a great variety of tacos all with their own unique flavors. I was able to try tongue for the first time on tacos and it tasted really good. Their tamarind margarita hit the spot. This place is a little pricey per taco but worth it for a special occasion. read more
