We swung up to Witness Tree to grab some drinks on a Saturday night. The team was very friendly and took great care of us. A special thanks to Kennedy our server for the great service. She answered all of our menu questions and got our drink order in fast. The drinks were all mixed well. I tried a seasonal drink (The Last Leaf), it was smooth and the pumpkin flavor was night and light. I need to get back to visit earlier, it would be nice to see the view from the roof top patio during the day. Great venue, great service, great drinks!!!

    Cheers!

Great lounge with amazing Columbia river views with the beautiful sunsets. Excellent service from Joe at the bar and their staff. Great selection of Happy Hour items too.

The view was the only good thing going here

First off the view is amazing and the server was friendly, but she did not know any of the answers to questions I had asked about the menu, regarding what the drink special was or what other drinks were, etc. to be honest, that's not a dealbreaker. Had the food been good? We had a glass of wine, a beer off hh menu, & The steak skewers which were not good. It was tender, but bland and had a very weird taste to it and then lots nasty fatty bites. $18 for the happy hour steak skewers and just not good at all . We will go back for a drink because it's a lovely view, but definitely won't be ordering the steak skewers again

The host was wonderful, he promptly sat my friend and I in a location of our choosing so we could see the view. Waitress came to give us menus, once we ordered - just one drink a piece - she said she would be back to see if we liked the drinks and she never came back. It wasn't busy at all either. I finally got her attention to get our check, she drops it off and says "gratuity has already been added as well!". Ummm gratuity for 2 drinks and just a party of 2?? BTW I got the tequila cilantro drink, no cilantro flavor at all. My friend got the coconut "old fashioned" which was decent. But my tab was $50, what a joke - I won't be returning

Stopped in after apps and happy hour at the AC Hotel. This place is posh and the interior design is beautiful. Finally some nice places this side of the river. We sat at the bar on Valentines Day, fairly early in the evening. Great service, attentive and friendly. Both of the cocktails I tried were well done, pretty and delicious. I will definitely be back.

This is probably the nicest bar/lounge we've been to since moving to the PNW. The staff is welcoming, attentive and seemed to work really well together to greet, seat and serve guests. We arrived shortly after 4pm on a gorgeous Sunny Saturday afternoon. We attempted to get a table outside but they were all taken, so we sat inside near the window so we could catch the sunset. Because we had just eaten at Grassa about an hour before (and were totally stuffed) we opted to just get dessert and wine, which turned out to be a total treat. We got the chocolate torte which was so decadent, rich, & creamy with raspberry & pistachio crumble - simply divine. And it paired nice with our glasses of local Pinot noir. Service was excellent and the ambiance is a vibe, especially being right on the water. The decor, colors, lighting and woodwork all contribute to the beautiful aesthetic.

We've been wanting to check this place out but they close so early and we finally had a chance to come by after a wedding. Staff was so nice. Very friendly and welcoming. Ambiance is nice. Dark with minimal lighting. We wanted to sit outside but weren't able to because it was full. Drinks were good but spendy. Everything on the menu is spendy. FYI, they add a 20% gratuity fee on your bill. We were only party of 2, just me and my husband and the only thing we ordered was 2 drinks. Probably won't be back.

The perfect view of the lake on top of the hotel indigo. If you ever stay at any of the hotels on the waterfront I would recommend you make reservations for outdoor seating to catch the sunset. Drinks is a bit pricey but the appetizers made up for it. The pork belly was tender and the deviled eggs came in three different flavors. Our hostess made sure we had outdoor seating as we didn't make any reservations for the night. Once a table opened up so gave it to us!

Hands down the most amazing service and bar creations! Above and beyond in everything they do, and a perfect start, or finish to an El Gaucho treat! (Also you can order from El Gaucho there as well)

Order: The Expat (scotch, cognac, tropical italian amaro, coffee, banana) Pros: the view is gorgeous! The music sets the atmosphere, and the inside decor gives an upscale adult type of vibe. The Expat drink is really delicious. You get a smoky taste from the coffee and it pairs well with the scotch. Cons: I didnt taste the banana but its still a really good drink.

I love the atmosphere of this lounge! Very classy, chic, and awesome views of the Columbia River. The food and cocktails were very tasty. It's great spot for a night out.

*puts on monacle and top hat* I am absolutely tickled that little ole Vancouver has a rooftop lounge with a really comfortable and upscale ambience to boot. And when I say upscale, I mean ~upscale~. We were greeted and escorted all the way up to the 8th floor which was a nice little boost to feel like we were part of the 1% for an evening. We arrived just at sunset and you could quite literally feel the energy as people enjoyed the moment, it was very beautiful! We were greeted promptly at our table and had great service our entire visit. Nothing overbearing and also very attentive to our requests. Extremely comfortable seating that encouraged us to stay for over 2 hours. If I'm being a little pedant, I'll just say it was awkward having the uncommonly small tables at the incorrect height for how low the seating was at the banquets. I also feel as though the acoustics can be managed a little better as during our stay, 3 different, large parties rotated near us (but not next to us) and it was fairly easy to listen in on their loud conversations. What we had: 2 glasses of wine each, I really liked my rose, the pours were heavy! Charcuterie - I thought it was fairly priced for what we were receiving but what was provided did not mesh well together. It looked beautiful, don't get me wrong, but having pickled cauliflower, pate, savory cheesecake (bleu cheese), and a delightful mustard as the accoutrements made it difficult to mix and match flavors since they were all stand-alone, flavorful stars. Plus, more crisps are always needed, always Poke bowl - really fresh fish, would absolutely order again, good staple ;) 5/5 view on a crisp winter evening 5/5 aesthetics 5/5 service 4/5 food 4/5 functionality of space Rounding up to 5 stars because I still really enjoyed the place and am working on trying not to be so detail-oriented for my own sanity! I could have sat inside for hours, and would be interested how the cocktails are since El Gaucho downstairs has some really great flavors on their own menu.

I can see myself enjoying more time on this patio! Amazing view and chic vibes thorough out. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. The cocktail wasn't my favorite it had a little more peppercorn than I think I was expecting and I would like to see more sweet vodka cocktail options. The savory food options left much to be desired if you're vegetarian. Everything had meat in it and the only option without were deviled eggs. Even if not specially a vegetarian or vegan establishment it's important to consider. Was curious to try the macarons, I'll have to come back and try more of the menu.

I also like good chips & coleslaw. I found all 3 here at the Waterfront Taphouse. Yay! (Don't worry they aren't too greasy!). We went here with another couple and enjoyed the beautiful view, even though our table wasn't right next to the window. That is probably due to all the big windows and it's on the 2nd floor of its building. Our server was friendly, and our food came out quickly. Loved the fish & chips, like I indicated above. Why the 4 stars then? My husband, the only one in our party that didn't order fish & chips, didn't love his mahi mahi fish tacos. They looked beautiful but fell short on flavor. He felt they needed more seasoning-they were a little tasteless. He dumped the tiny little cup of salsa on top and asked for more, but he was still disappointed. The fish wasn't salted properly. They also came with "house made" tortilla chips. These were hard and cardboard-like. That's too bad because it's not difficult to cut tortillas and fry them up. I do it at home sometimes. They turn out great. So maybe go to a good Mexican restaurant if you have your heart set on quality tortilla chips. If you want fish & chips though, come here instead of their neighbor to the east (not mentioning any names-you know what it's called). The portions were generous-as they should be for $30. That's the only downside. A little pricey. We shared 2 silk pie slices for dessert. Very dense and dark chocolatey. Good to share-a whole piece is too rich-and I like rich! If not for the fish tacos I would give Waterfront Taphouse 5 stars.

Excellent food, excellent chef. However, for the portion size, it's pricey. One can understand they are doing this intentionally to maintain a higher class of patrons but the tab was a bit jarring. We've been back a couple times, took friends once. They enjoyed it but they too, did mention the prices. Great place in the heart of downtown. We'll be back.
