This place is soooo cute! You walk in and it's bright, clean, and organized. I loved reading the menu as the different flavors of ice cream were unexpected. The owner was really kind and offered samples. One thing I appreciate is you sample with an actual spoon. It wasn't plastic or wooden, it was a gold spoon. I felt fancy. The little scoop was enough for me. I don't eat ice cream much so I liked the ability to enjoy without being wasteful. At first glance, pricing seemed high. However, quality ingredients plus the beauty of the shop makes it all make sense. Parking is a hassle. There's a small lot or street parking. You may need to drive around a bit. The parlor has a pizza place neighbor and more food across the street. I wish you could make your own taco! That would be amazing. I definitely think everyone should try it out.

Guests are given golden sampling spoons which is very different from usual ice cream places! Limited and location exclusive flavors are posted on their website. Spring Fling is one of their seasonal flavors of matcha and lime. It was an enjoyable combo and not too overwhelming in lime flavor. Things+Stuff contains pretzel cream and peanut butter. The scoop itself contained a decent amount of mix ins. There are so many interesting flavors to try with locally sourced ingredients. I hope to stop by again!
Positioned right next to Corner pizza and across the street from Tanners and Homestate, Little Fox is a great stop for a sweet treat after a meal or on its own. It's a small shop with a ton of unique flavors. My recent visit here was due to meeting a friend who really wanted to try Tanners and specifically also requested Little Fox. This was great because they are so close. I got the RBF which is a root beer flavored concoction. It was good. Not too overpowering and between the cream and the root beer flavors it was so well balanced. My friend got the diet riot since she is a big chocolate fan. She absolutely loved hers. There really isn't an area to sit and eat your ice cream except for one bench outside so keep that in mind. Most people just stand out front on the sidewalk and enjoy. Definitely stop by for their unique flavors if you are in the area.
Today was my second time comming in and the ice creams soo good and it's organic so when I eat it I feel like I'm losing weight. The service is also always really good, even when there busy I feel like the workers are always still really nice and patient when sampling different flavors. The overall vibe so chill too because they have plants around the shop making it feel really homey.
unfortunately i didn't catch her name but she was so wonderful! i sampled a few different ice creams and they were all delicious. i would've sampled them all lol. i'm very picky when it comes to ice creams because i don't like overly sweet and this place was perfect. several options between savory and sweet that doesn't overwhelm you. the shop inside is cute and colorful and there was some seating outside to enjoy your ice cream. 10/10 would definitely be back!
My daughter and I strolled over to Little Fox for some ice cream while we aired for our Tanners burgers and wow, we were happy we did! I had the Banana Pancake ice cream and it may be the best ice cream I've had in my life. The place is cute and the people very helpful and the flavors or inspired and elevated without being ridiculous. Also, my daughter had the Lavender Haze and it was amazing, as well! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
The best way to end a night in Oceanside is definitely at Little Fox. The variety of ice creams (with many Gluten free options) and their willingness to help you sample until you find the right one is unmatched. Bonus points for using silverware for sampling instead of disposable single use plastics. That's my biggest gripe with other places, and Little Fox earns so many points for doing that. Their cones are high quality and help up while we enjoyed them. Parking is in a bit of a tight area as they're next to Tanners and Home State, but it's certainly worth it. Make sure your next craving for a sweet treat is fulfilled here. You will not regret it.
Such a cute craft ice cream shop in South Oceanside. I have been here a few times and love it. The flavor profiles of the ice creams are unique and inventive while also paying homage to classics. The ice cream is house made and pasteurized. They have gluten free options too. You can choose between a cone, a cup or even some flavors are available in their adorable ice cream tacos! My first time there, I got "things & stuff" flavor which is peanut butter pretzel-y flavor in a cone! So good! The taste is unmatched and the quality ingredients are evident. Second time around I chose the "let them eat cake" flavor which is a birthday cake flavor. I loved it. Portable, fun, and definitely delicious. It was a warm day and did not melt all over the place because the ice cream was insulated in the taco "cone". The shop is clean, cute, and bright. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about the the flavors, ingredients and will help you if you have trouble deciding! Parking in this area can be a challenge, but at 3pm on a Monday, I found a spot. Definitely plan to walk a little bit if you come on the weekends, but that's part of the adventure!
I was looking for a good ice cream shop with dairy-free/vegan options, and I am so glad I tried this place! The quality of their flavors really took me by surprise. Each are fun, creative, and elevated - just like their decor and vibe. I tried all four of their vegan options, and couldn't decide between two, so I indulged in a scoop of both. The "Once Upon A Time in Hollywood" was fantastic. It's probably one of the best vegan ice creams I've had in recent memory. The corn cream is the perfect background of toasty creaminess that isn't heavy and pairs perfectly with the floral complexity of the honeycomb. I also enjoyed the "Let Them Eat Cake," which was an elevated rainbow sprinkle experience, none of that synthetic slap of cake to the face, but the right amount of vanilla sugar and crumble. Both flavors were simple yet sophisticated, and I applaud the execution. Will 1000% be coming back. Can't wait to see what they come up with next!
I've ended up here several times after dinner in the area. Ice cream always sounds like good after dinner treat, but I'm honestly disappointed every time. The flavors are kind of good on the sample spoon, but after a few bites, the ice cream always ends up underwhelming and icy. I get it, it's ice cream, but I guess I prefer more creamy over icy. Note that they don't have any tables, just three sticky benches outside.
Intersting flavor combinations but it works well with each other. They are of course priced higher than regular ice cream but, they are worth trying. Cute little shop, street parking and a few spaces right next on the lot. I had the banana pancake lil scoop which was good size for me, taste was so delicious. Friends had the smores and the cake batter one. All tasted good, friendly staff and quick to help customers.
This place is so yummy and they have a descent amount of vegan options. I believe they have four and they were all delicious. On Mother's Day, they gave away a mini bouquet of flowers and a pint of ice cream. Unfortunately, I wasn't one of the first ten that also got a nice glass jar to store goodies in. I did see some people walk about with just the freebies and that was kind of annoying to see. I think they should have at least purchased something. They should have restricted the freebies to customers only. I ended up gifting the free non-vegan option to my mother (she loved it) and my hubby bought me a vegan pint for myself. Inside there is no seating but they have 2 benches outside. While there is a small parking lot in the back, the parking lot gets full quickly and street parking can be tricky. Their ice cream is really tasty and they even decorate your ice cream with extra toppings like sprinkles and vegan marshmallows. This is one of our new favorite ice cream shops! read more
Found this little gem while I was searching for an ice cream shop. What sets this place apart is their creative and unique flavor combinations. It was rich, creamy, and perfectly flavored like chocolate chip banana pancakes. My boyfriend had the Three Strikes flavor, which is a creamy peanut butter with peanut brittle, it was also delicious. There's almost always a wait outside of this place but it's for good reason! The flavors are very unique and I am always able to find something I love. I usually love to get the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood flavor but I branched out and tried the new Mexican Chocolate flavor and it didn't disappoint! The chocolate flavor was rich and creamy and had a good level of sweetness (not too sweet). The churros were nice flavor wise but I didn't love the texture. It didn't ruin the ice cream though. I do wish this place had seating but the location doesn't quite allow for that (not their fault)! read more

We came here after eating at Tanner's. This ice cream shop is cute inside. They sell holiday cards, cute ice cream dish ware and other sweet novelty items and treats. The ice cream flavors are delicious and all original. Service is sweet just like the shop. We will be back! read more
This little ice cream shop has such great attention to details. The moment you walk in you're welcomed with a nice fragrant aroma. Inside there is great quality. Everything by from the product of the ice cream itself to their orange high quality napkins to even their golden sample spoons. The ice cream itself is creamy and has a velvety smooth texture but the little toppings that get folded into the ice cream give that nice texture. Their flavors are unique enough to entice you to make a stop at this shop in Oceanside. They even go wild and think out of the box with flavors that present themselves as savory but for some odd reason they're able to create into an ice cream flavor. Example? Poco Pomodoro- organic basil cream, graza olive oil, golden tomato marmalade I appreciate when an ice cream shop tries to push the envelope and get creative with flavors. And even the cute little toppers the put on their ice cream is a nice touch from the little lavender sprig to the mint leaf depending on what flavors you get. We live in OC. Every time I drive down to SD I try to stop by here to get a little treat of little fox. read more

lots of unique flavors to choose from. I tried the London fog & mint - both were good. Service was friendly, flavor was good. I also appreciate Little Fox because their small is actually a small. Adorable shop with insanely good ice cream (vegan options too!) I first discovered Little Fox Ice Cream at the Del Mar Fest last year, and their flavors blew me away -- so much that I had to visit their actual store. And I'm so glad I did! The ice cream is just as amazing as I remembered -- rich, flavorful, and thoughtfully made. I was especially happy to see they offer vegan options, which is such a plus. The staff were super cheerful and welcoming, and the interior is absolutely adorable. It's the kind of place that instantly puts you in a good mood. Whether you're vegan, dairy-loving, or just an ice cream fan in general, Little Fox is a must-visit. read more

$8 for a tiny lil scoop in a waffle cone. I will say really cool different flavors, and the waffle cone is delicious! A little sweeter than your average waffle cone. So happy to have walked by and gone in! It was an extremely hot day when my friend and I were walking about and I was extra happy to have walked in and found a cool treat. Once I was told about their vegan/gf options, I immediately was set on ordering. I was able to try a few other vegan/gf options like the let them eat cake and death before coffee. Honesty, I was impressed with them all, but I absolutely loved the death before coffee as it had a great subtle cold brew flavor and cookie crumbles with a soft, not too grainy, texture. Couldn't have wanted anything more as it was perfect. It's difficult to get the consistency of ice cream when made vegan but they clearly excelled. The server was so kind and welcoming too and offered my friend and I tastings and options throughout our time here. We went through the line incredibly fast too. I loved the relaxing ambiance of the store as well, definitely inviting. Some great seating options outside as well. They do have limited parking on the side but there are a few spots! read more
Every person better know I'm an og little fox fan even before they opened their first store front. But how is it that I'm constantly amazed every time!!! Here's what always makes little fox my fav ice cream shop in all of SD 1) the flavors. Not a single basic flavor can be found here. Every option was created with care, love, and intent. There are more classic-ish flavors with new ones (like the carrot one) that you couldn't even think of as an ice cream that just blows you away. Even their waffle cones are delicious!!! How!!?? 2) the details. You can see the details in the small toppings curated for each flavor as well as every aspect of this store. The interior design, the REAL sample spoons, the seating outside. 3) the care. I've come by before when the owner was there, and this time I was greeted by one of the employees. Both times they were incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and passionate about little fox. It makes you want to love this store even more!! This is a small business that I will always love and adore and congrats to their team for recently getting recognition in the sd mag!! read more
Cute little ice cream shop with lots of fun, creative flavors. I love that they offer sampler flights since I always want to try everything. The texture can be a bit inconsistent though -- a few of the flavors I tried were more icy than creamy. I also wish there were more seating, since there are only two benches outside. read more
Came here after being stuffed from the burgers next door. The inside is nice and cozy, and the service is friendly. We tried many different of their flavors. Their portions are smaller than a lot of the big chains around, but it was perfect for our sweet treat. read more

Tiny Lil' Scoop ($6.25) - This was very high quality, artisanal ice cream! All the flavors I sampled were so creamy. The Things + Stuff flavor came with salted pretzel cream, a peanut butter swirl, chocolate bits, and pretzel pieces. All the components came together so well and I'd definitely get this again. I sampled the S'more the Merrier flavor and it was magical. Highly, highly recommend! read more
There's so many great ice cream flavors to choose from here. They have fun unique flavors to try and they rotate them consistently so there is almost always a new flavor to try. The staff are really friendly and patient, they let you try as many samples as you'd like. The store is small but very well decorated and there's a few benches outside where you can enjoy your ice cream. read more
My best friend had recommended that we try Little Fox while we were in South Oceanside. We came to celebrate my husbands birthday and for our sweet little treat we thought the best thing would be ice cream. This ice creamery is so cute, the inside is so welcoming and bright and beautiful. There are little knickknacks you can purchase like teas and cards, seriously so cute. There are a lot of really unique flavors and it was really difficult to hold back and not try them all. To sample, I ending up trying Roasty Toasty, London Fog and Once Upon A Time in Hollywood. Roasty Toasty had bites of crispy parmesean, when speaking with the team member I had mentioned that we had something similar in the Philippines corn ice cream with bits of cheddar cheese so it definitely reminded me of home. The Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was corn ice cream with honeycomb, if you combined the two that would be my favorite flavor so that's what I did. I got two scoops with a cone on the side. Bryan ended up getting RBF, which I didn't get a chance to taste shame on me, but he loved it. We also got a little pup cup for our Pom in the Roasty Tasty which he devoured. There's no seating inside but there are seats outside which is the smartest marketing wise, watching people eat ice cream makes you want to eat ice cream. Next time we're in the neighborhood we'll definitely be coming back! Thank you again for your kindness and delicious treats. read more
This is a very cute little ice cream shop tucked just off of PCH. The names of the different ice creams are funny and creative. The interior decor is charming but the place is tiny and there is no seating. There are a few benches directly outside. I loved the ice cream taco made with Things and Stuff (chocolate/peanut butter/pretzel). I could have easily eaten three of these. The flavors and contrasting textures are great. Death Before Decaf (coffee flavor) was pretty good but not as flavorful as I had hoped. However, Let Them Eat Cake (cake batter) was excellent and made with actual pieces of cake. Yes, they offer free stickers at the front counter. Smart marketing. There's pizza next door, burgers and tacos across the parking lot, and BBQ across the street. Definitely give these guys a try after your lunch or dinner. read more
Trying too hard to be cute. The flavors are all inventive, but after trying 5-6 (we had a large party so I was able to sample several), I only really liked one flavor - passion fruit/lime/cheesecake. The mint chip is odd. Curry up sounded intriguing but really just tasted like a curry dish. Coffee ice cream is fine on its own - it's not better with oat cookie crumble mixed in. Servers were so nice but the line goes SLOWLY because they carefully place beautiful toppings on each scoop. read more
