The ice cream is house made and pasteurized. They have gluten free options too. You can choose between a cone, a cup or even some flavors are available in their adorable ice cream tacos! My first time there, I got "things & stuff" flavor which is peanut butter pretzel-y flavor in a cone! So good! The taste is unmatched and the quality ingredients are evident. Second time around I chose the "let them eat cake" flavor which is a birthday cake flavor. I loved it. Portable, fun, and definitely delicious. It was a warm day and did not melt all over the place because the ice cream was insulated in the taco "cone". The shop is clean, cute, and bright. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about the the flavors, ingredients and will help you if you have trouble deciding! Parking in this area can be a challenge, but at 3pm on a Monday, I found a spot. Definitely plan to walk a little bit if you come on the weekends, but that's part of the adventure! read more

Such a cute ice cream place with so many options! Parking was full and the shop was busy when we stopped by. Street parking is advised for easy access. There was a line, but it's mostly due to customers sampling and having a great experience in trying different flavors. Guests are given golden sampling spoons which is very different from usual ice cream places! Limited and location exclusive flavors are posted on their website. Spring Fling is one of their seasonal flavors of matcha and lime. It was an enjoyable combo and not too overwhelming in lime flavor. Things+Stuff contains pretzel cream and peanut butter. The owner was really kind and offered samples. One thing I appreciate is you sample with an actual spoon. It wasn't plastic or wooden, it was a gold spoon. I felt fancy. The little scoop was enough for me. I don't eat ice cream much so I liked the ability to enjoy without being wasteful. At first glance, pricing seemed high. However, quality ingredients plus the beauty of the shop makes it all make sense. Parking is a hassle. There's a small lot or street parking. You may need to drive around a bit. Positioned right next to Corner pizza and across the street from Tanners and Homestate, Little Fox is a great stop for a sweet treat after a meal or on its own. It's a small shop with a ton of unique flavors. My recent visit here was due to meeting a friend who really wanted to try Tanners and specifically also requested Little Fox. This was great because they are so close. I got the RBF which is a root beer flavored concoction. It was good. Not too overpowering and between the cream and the root beer flavors it was so well balanced. My friend got the diet riot since she is a big chocolate fan. She absolutely loved hers. There really isn't an area to sit and eat your ice cream except for one bench outside so keep that in mind. Most people just stand out front on the sidewalk and enjoy. I just love this shop so so much! I first discovered them a few months after moving to San Diego when they were in a different location, pulled in by their ice cream tacos! Way better than any packaged chocotaco I ever tasted and I immediately became a fan of whatever they created. Throughout the last few years, I've watched and enjoyed as they've experimented with new locations and flavors. Now they're in Oceanside and it's just the perfect spot for them! They make all of their ice cream in house. They are able to have more flavors now, and I recently came for their plant-based flavors with a friend when we needed something that would accommodate her diet. I also love that the price is a little less than some of the big name ice cream shops in the area (cough, cough Jeni's). Really, no complaints. Staff is always lovely. I usually love to get the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood flavor but I branched out and tried the new Mexican Chocolate flavor and it didn't disappoint! Once I was told about their vegan/gf options, I immediately was set on ordering. I was able to try a few other vegan/gf options like the let them eat cake and death before coffee. Honesty, I was impressed with them all, but I absolutely loved the death before coffee as it had a great subtle cold brew flavor and cookie crumbles with a soft, not too grainy, texture. My best friend had recommended that we try Little Fox while we were in South Oceanside. We came to celebrate my husbands birthday and for our sweet little treat we thought the best thing would be ice cream. This ice creamery is so cute, the inside is so welcoming and bright and beautiful. There are little knickknacks you can purchase like teas and cards, seriously so cute. There are a lot of really unique flavors and it was really difficult to hold back and not try them all. To sample, I ending up trying Roasty Toasty, London Fog and Once Upon A Time in Hollywood. Roasty Toasty had bites of crispy parmesean, when speaking with the team member I had mentioned that we had something similar in the Philippines corn ice cream with bits of cheddar cheese so it definitely reminded me of home. The Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was corn ice cream with honeycomb, if you combined the two that would be my favorite flavor so that's what I did. I got two scoops with a cone on the side. Bryan ended up getting RBF, which I didn't get a chance to taste shame on me, but he loved it. We also got a little pup cup for our Pom in the Roasty Tasty which he devoured. There's no seating inside but there are seats outside which is the smartest marketing wise, watching people eat ice cream makes you want to eat ice cream. The interior decor is charming but the place is tiny and there is no seating. There are a few benches directly outside. Death Before Decaf (coffee flavor) was pretty good but not as flavorful as I had hoped. However, Let Them Eat Cake (cake batter) was excellent and made with actual pieces of cake. Yes, they offer free stickers at the front counter. Smart marketing. There's pizza next door, burgers and tacos across the parking lot, and BBQ across the street. Their new location is in Oceanside as part of the freeman collective. I didn't realize I had been here before when it was in Leucadia! Kudos to them for growing their business with a store front. Last weekend, I had some friends in town and I picked up a pint of their banana pancakes. It was a tasty ice cream that had a bananas foster flavored base with some chocolate chunks and other tasty morsels. Went here on a Saturday at around 3 pm and there was nobody in line. I sampled many flavors, and they were generous with the sample size, which I appreciated so that I could really taste the flavors. I tried the curry flavor, which was interesting but I wouldn't get a scoop of it. Unfortunately most of the flavors were underwhelming (I prefer strong flavors), but I did like the S'More the Merrier and the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. I ended up getting a single scoop of the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood ($7.50). I liked the caramel popcorn taste (I'm obsessed with caramel) and the caramel popcorn that topped the ice cream was a cute touch! It is a bit pricey, but I could tell that it was high quality ice cream. My main complaint is that most of the flavors were bland. I also parked on a nearby street since I wasn't sure about the parking situation. But it wasn't too difficult to find parking. The shop itself was also cutely decorated.
