We've seen many Chinese restaurants run through this building over the years; but I hope that Little House stays. We ordered from them tonight, took about 45 mins for delivery. Easy to pay online and add tip, so it was just a quick pass off at the door. My husband loves sushi and I rarely eat any type of fish or seafood. Here's what we had: California Sunset Roll - AMAZING!! These are so good...even a non fish person is saying this! Sesame Chicken - like others had reviewed, this was not great. It was rubbery and the flavor wasn't spot on. I would not order this again. Crab Rangoon - BIG rangoons! Very creamy, not a single one left. Chicken On A Stick - these are good sized teriyaki chicken sticks that my kids love. Very flavorful and a lot of meat on them. Tempura shrimp Roll - very fresh veggies inside it; but a too fishy for my tastes. My husband loved them. They come tempura fried with the tail on. My only complaint was the lack of rice.While the portions for everything else were generous, we received two cups of white rice and a single fork...that it's it. Next time I would make a comment in the order form so they know how many people the meal was for (5 people, not 1). We will be back for everything except the sesame chicken. It's pretty good, it's miles ahead of Huang Garden Restaurant, and conveniently close (with Milliken and Johnstown being somewhat out in the country.) I live in Johnstown and have never eaten or ordered from this restaurant. My doorbell rings and an asian man holding paper bags is at my front door. I ask him what he wants and he is pointing at the food and not saying much. I tell him I did not order any food. He insists I did and looks at my house numbers. I again ask him what he wants and he is insisting I ordered food and he wants me to pay for it. I go outside and he is still insisting. He says F.. You to me on my driveway. I curse him out and went by his vehicle where I see he has someone elses street and the name of the restaurant. I then call the restaurant to tell them what just happened. After speaking to the "manager", for the 3rd time he tells me the driver doesnt even "speak good english". I tell him he sure knows how to cursein English. Very rude! read more

We ordered food from this place about three days ago I think on Saturday. It was a pretty large order I think we spend about 70 $80 at this establishment. Ordered fried rice with all of the meals and when it came the rice did not look like fried rice it was White rice with a little egg mixed in. When I called to tell them this they brought us a new order of so-called fried rice. When the driver came he was very very very rude. He had the audacity to walk back to the employees lunch room open the door and steer at them. I'm not sure but maybe he was on some kind of drugs or something. I'll admit, at first I was a little nervous trying to sushi place in the middle of such a small town as I am a bit of a sushi snob after living in Maui for 8 years. But this place is awesome. These are new owners, with a totally different business, service and food. I just tried them yesterday and have eaten there two days in a row now. BEST Chinese in Johnstown/Milliken area!! It is delicious! I am a chinese food-aholic. I had the general tso chicken with white meat, and this was not frozen chicken like every other Chinese place. They cut strip of breast meat, battered and sautéed, never frozen, AND it comes with vegetables unlike other places who try to cut corners. The service isn't extremely fast but that's how you know it's not coming from a bag in the freezer and just dumped into a fryer, a few extra minutes for a lot more quality and flavor is what's missing from 'today's' restaurants. I had the Mongolian beef which was full of spice and flavor, if you like spicy you'll love the both above dishes. We also tried 4 different rolls, which were fabulous, and just thinking about it make me want to eat a volcano roll right now. We had their egg drop soup and crab Rangoon. The soup has more veggies than most Chinese restaurants. The crab Rangoon also had a lot of flavor, I only wish it had more filling. Really Good! I came to Colorado about 12 years ago and have been consistently disappointed by the Chinese food here. This is a little place in an out-of-the-way town, but the best Chinese food I've had here in Colorado. What a pleasant surprise. Very fresh stir fry veggies (with added fried tofu), very nicely done. Great prices and very friendly people. If you're looking for elegant atmosphere, you won't find that, but if the food is the point, I think you'll enjoy it! My only, and small, complaint was that the egg roll, though nicely flavored, was too greasy. Other than that, very happy! So, 4.75 stars! read more

Tonight was the first night we tried out Little House. Normally we go eat at Huang Garden, but I've heard good things and the kiddo wanted Sushi. I ordered delivery online through BeyondMenu at 3:30 pm and requested a 6:00 pm delivery time. The menu is simple and easy to navigate. We ordered egg drop soup, chicken lo mein, California roll, tempura shrimp roll, and dynamite roll. Total came to about $40.00... Pretty standard when you start throwing specialty rolls into the mix. Like the majority of reviewers... I too was very skeptical about getting sushi in Johnstown and I've never ever ordered sushi for delivery... Just seems a little too adventurous but I'm lazy tonight. Delivery driver arrived right at 6. Awesome sauce! Dynamite roll was delicious! In fact I was impressed with all our sushi. Presentation wasn't great but then again I'm eating out of a take out box. Lo mein was pretty standard and the egg drop soup had tomatoes which I've never experienced before but really enjoyed. Will definitely get delivery from these guys again.
