Chicago Pizza is what I grew up with but it's hard to find a good one in Florida and I've been here for some time. I do have my go to's, but I am always looking for a new fave to add to my list. I even follow a FB group for Chicago pizza in Florida. Unfortunately, this is not it. Yes the thin crust is it and the square pieces yes, but the crust is a no bc there's no flavor. There's no sauce. Which even with adding sauce on the side it didn't do much for it. It's just a crunchy piece of dough with a lack of sauce and cheese and Hawaiian. So I will stick with my nearby fave which still crosses off the boxes and is made to perfection - Paul's Chicago Pizza in Clearwater for thin crust. I do see there are locations for Little Italian in Naperville IL, which I always frequented, but this for sure is not it right here. For some maybe, but not in my family. Still this is a nice location inside. Spacious, full of light, comfortable, and friendly service. Check them out and see what you think. read more

We actually decided against ordering from here. I tried, the menu on Yelp kept giving me a warning that the site was impersonating their site. So I found the menu on toast. I was going to order however all their pizzas are listed but they put one price on every item with a note saying that's just the cheese pizza price... ok, that's fine but why not put the CORRECT price on each item? Crazy idea... price things accurately!? Crazy, right? So I added garlic cheese bread & started to choose toppings for a pizza. Multiple pop ups & random little charges started adding up. We ultimately decided to just order from gulf side cause they are at least upfront with pricing. If you want to order from here, bring a credit card cause who knows what the real charges will be. I'll post a few screenshots so you know what I'm talking about. Also, they aren't on delivery apps except toast which does charge additional fees. Personally we don't mind saving the restaurant on fees but it would be nice if that restaurant were at least transparent in their pricing. read more

Every Neighborhood Should Have One Every neighborhood deserves a comforting, family-run Italian restaurant where you know you'll get a good meal in a pleasant atmosphere. Nothing fancy--just a nice place with good food and friendly service. Little Italian fits the bill. I had the Meat Lasagna with a side Caesar salad and a glass of the house Chianti. Everything was delicious. The serving size was generous with plenty for seconds later. My only complaint was that the lasagna wasn't hot enough. I have wanted to try it since moving to the area approximately 2 years ago and lo and behold I was able to due to receiving a $15.00 coupon from them that I forgot I signed up for! I've lived in the Clearwater/Largo area for over 45 years Ive had plenty of pizza from different restaurants. Being Long Island N.Y. I think my judgement of good N.Y. style pizza is good.. This is the second time I'm trying this restaurant's pizza and it just doesn't cut it for me, too much cheese and the red sauce just doesn't taste right for a traditional N.Y. pizza, even the way it's cut into squares, (you gotta be kidding me). People from down South might think it's delicious because they haven't had N.Y. pizza. This will be my last visit here, I'm going back to Bros's Pizza up the road they're great. read more

Came for the pizza, but I was nearly unable tell you how it is. We have been sitting here for 90m waiting for our pizza. The server came by on table after she noticed we were getting antsy. She finally came by. Told us she'd forgotten to put the order in and it'd be 15-20m. 30m later still no pizza. She promises 5m more. We were nearly ready to get up to leave when it finally came. We only live a few blocks away and this place has changed so many hands it's almost unfathomable. A group of six of us stopped in on Friday night and were amazed at how different the place felt. Same decor, same tables but, it definitely had a positive upbeat atmosphere, it hasn't had in several years. We met the current owner who stopped by each table checking in and making sure patrons were satisfied. Our server was sharp, he knew the menu well, he knew what the ingredients were and he knew how things were prepared. We were a bit concerned when he took our orders because he didn't write anything down but, everything came out perfectly. He checked on us several times and made sure we had everything we needed. Our food was absolutely, spot on delicious.Sandwiches were large and filling and expertly prepared as though some little grandma was preparing them. The dinners were large and well seasoned, needing a box for leftovers. The pizza was the star of the show, thin, crispy crust with toppings edge to edge and flavor that was as robust as anything in Chicago. The sausage had that scrumptious fennel taste that distinguishes it from any other place in the country that, and the fact it's cut into squares. Having lived in Chicago over 20 years, it was an awesome experience when requesting the gahlick and the 'regano and it came out in shakers. That really seals the deal!! The only thing missing from this place compared to those in Chicago was the addition of ordering homemade creamy garlic salad dressing on the salad. This place is amazing in every way!! Brought the family to eat here one night ...We ordered Alot of different things and must say it all was made perfectly and so full of flavor. Perfect Chicken Marsala! Tonight we are having their pizzas and they do not cheat you at all on the toppings! The whole pizza is loaded and the crust soooo delicious! The service is fabulous as well. Everyone is friendly and very kind they are all like a family there and you can definitely tell they take pride in this business with everything and everyone there. What a hidden gem of a place! Came here with my partner last night and we were so impressed! The service is warm and welcoming and they have a lot to choose from on their menu. The place is really well put together as well, and has a great atmosphere. We ended up getting the long hots with potatoes for an appetizer--absolutely delicious! And then ordered the white pizza which was sooooo insanely good! There was such a generous amount of ricotta, which totally made it along with their amazing crust.
