It was our whole groups first time so we weren't sure what to expect, it was smaller than expected so there was about an hour wait and it was a bit loud inside but the wait actually helped with that a bit as it started to clear out as it got later, and we could grab wine to drink in the courtyard while we waited. We got: the meatballs and burrata to start. The pepperoni and white pizza. And the pistachio tiramisu and the chocolate mousse. Not a single complaint about the food. With all of that and a few glasses of wine/beers each we all ended up paying around $60 which isn't too bad all things considered. Pizza Grace is my favorite sit-down pizza spot in Birmingham. I would definitely recommend this pizza spot for date nights due to its comfortable, but classy atmosphere, and shareable portions. The restaurant is on the smaller side, so staff was very attentive. I love the cobblestone streets outside and the plethora of windows inside. There is also outdoor seating that is shaded in, which is ideal for the spring and summertime. Another great addition that they included was little hooks under the tables to hang you purse on while dining. It is also next door to the best gelato! This place is especially great because of their homemade sourdough crust. We chose to share the chorizo pizza and it reminded me of Spanish cuisine which I love. I really loved the pairing of the chorizo, olives, manchego, and hot honey. I love eating my pizza with ranch and was a bit disappointed that it was so small while being $2 extra. We came to Pizza Grace on a Friday, for an early dinner. Upon arrival, it wasn't busy(AT ALL) but we blinked and this places was full of pizza wanting patrons! This isn't the biggest restaurant. It's comfortable and you don't feel like you are sitting on top of anyone. The ambiance is relaxed and decorated nicely. My fav part is the exposed bricks. Table seating, a few bar seats and some high table top seats are available. We ordered the pepperoni pizza with mushrooms on 1/2. I also requested a side of hot honey. The pizza was quite tasty and I loved the sourdough crust. The ingredients were fresh & of great quality. Our server was really polite and kept our water glasses full. I also had a Good people IPA. They have a respectable wine list but had limited beer options. If you come here, parking on Morris Ave could be a challenge. Thankfully , it wasn't for us. This was my first time at Pizza Grace. Pizza Grace just opened under new ownership, and it is still delicious. Tucked into mercantile, it offers both indoor and outdoor seating, which is perfect for summertime. Our service was attentive and efficient. The white pie was our favorite for tonight. We tried the watermelon granita which was so refreshing. The pistachio tiramisu was delicious, but the pistachio flavor was not coming through as much as we thought it would. Also, they're collaborating with GoldenAge for the wine list - how fun!! This past weekend, we went to Pizza Grace because the original owners sold it to the owners of Big Spoon Creamery. So, out of fear and curiosity, we wanted to see if our favorite pizza place was still our favorite pizza place. Let's just start. The garlic bread--they switched the focaccia with pizza dough, spread fairly thin so it was light and crispy--and they swapped the garlic oil for garlic butter with herbs. This was actually really good! We both enjoyed it and thought the flavor of the butter was way better than the original garlic olive oil spread. However, I think they should have kept the focaccia bread and just swapped the olive oil with the garlic and herb butter. That would have been an easy 10/10. But unfortunately, even though it was still very good, it gets an 8.5/10. The pizza itself was still basically the same. We got the pepperoni pizza. Upon arrival and tasting, we could tell they cut back on the red pepper flakes, which we were both happy about. Our main issue was the fact that we could tell, visually, the pizza was smaller and not as big as it used to be. We didn't like that we were paying basically the same price for less pizza. I'd recommend either making the pizzas bigger again or lowering the price. This also would have been a 10/10, but we're taking off points for the pizza being visibly smaller and giving it a 9.5/10. For dessert, I got the Big Spoon Bar, which has fior di latte, salted caramel, TCHO chocolate, sea salt, and hazelnut in it. No notes here--easy 10/10. I literally could not complain. First bite was heaven! All in all, this was very good with only a few minor disappointments. Is this still my favorite pizza place? Yes. Will I return? Yes, I will--but I also think it depends on whether they adjust the price or return the pizza to its original size. That's literally just how we feel since we've been going there for years. We were in town visiting family and wanted to treat them to pizza. The pizza at Pizza Grace was good not great. Maybe it was the bill for $246.09 that soured our experience. We had three large pizzas, one beer, one glass of wine, and a bottle of seltzer water. There were five adults and two children in our party. The server did not inform us a 20% gratuity would be added to our bill because of the size of our party. When the check came, she handed us the electronic receipt of which we signed and added an additional tip not knowing we were already charged a gratuity. After reviewing our paper receipt, we realized our tip was over $50.00. On our next trip to Birmingham, we will not be back! read more

This past Thursday afternoon, my boyfriend and I went to eat at the Pizza Grace restaurant. We arrived at the restaurant at around 2 PM and were seated immediately since there were barely any customers at the restaurant just yet. We were greeted by a very friendly waiter who served us a water filled bottle flask that we could refill ourselves, as well as a few minutes to decide what we wanted to eat. We chose to get two 10 inch pizzas, the margarita and the white pizza with a side of garlic ranch. The pizzas were both amazing, but the white was my favorite mostly because of the cheese and seasonings added to it that mixed very well with the garlic ranch I'd dip my slices into. The server we had was very nice and ensured we had everything we needed. The length of the wait time was about twenty minutes but the pizzas were definitely worth the wait! The utensils and plates used were reusable and the ambiance of the restaurant was dress casual with very good indie music. The restaurant was also pretty calm which allowed me to enjoy my meal whilst being in conversation with my boyfriend.
