The Baja tacos are huge! Chorizo is not spicy but all ingredients tasted fresh and light. Not a heavy breakfast. I do prefer a spicy chorizo though. Corned beef has was crispy and cooked perfectly. Also big enough to share if you aren't too hungry. If you are hungry this will satisfy your morning hunger. Crab Cake Benedict. Ordered without the poached egg. Hollandise. We stopped by this place because the sign said they had grouper and I was ready for some real Florida seafood! It would have more stars but---Unfortunately the sign was wrong, and there was no grouper. However, we decided to get the mahi sandwich as hunger was getting the better of us! The sandwich was large filet portion wise it hit the spot but it still fell flat. We decided it was from frozen and that makes the fish a little less flavorful. The tarter sauce also lacked any appreciable lemon, in the end we decided it really needed a hit of acid. Added my own hot sauce and some salt and it was much better! The price was decent and the location was key! My recommendation is get the fish and ask for lemon! read more

Change the name to F-n-A Cafe, cuz that's what you'll be saying after you eat or drink in this place. And I mean that in a good way. This is a local's haunt, run by two cool surfer-types who used to run a restaurant in the Virgin Islands, St John's I believe. Caribbean fare, well done. I had the signature lobster burrito (good), while the wife had a stellar Ahi Tuna fish taco. The black bean soup was the best I've ever tasted (meaning I didn't actually eat it, since the wife kept it close to her side of the table). This stuff was good enough to describe in terms that I'd reserve for describing a wine. I had the Minorcan Chowder. O'steen's is still the best in town, and South Beach Grill comes in ahead of FA, but it was good. Just not spicy enough for me and lacking in salt too. The first time ever in this place (a couple of days ago) was a rainy day with time to kill. I popped in for a beer. I find the owners at the bar, he's watching a race on one of the TVs above the bar and she's tending to other affairs. She asks what I'll have and a Longboard Lager from Kona Brewery is in front of me in an instant. Cindy proceeds to help me pass the time with some local lore, history on the FA cafe and inquiries about my past and present. For more details, you'll have to stop by and have your own Longboard. Ask for Cindy. This place is a shack, with the finest of beach shack decor. You can sit outside, on the edge of the place (which is basically outside) or at the bar. Keep it quiet though, we don't want a bunch of tourists to ruin this little gem. read more

I eat primarily certified organic food, and could tell that what I ordered wasn't organic, therefore the tastes were way off for me. Great atmosphere, though, and very nice service. I recommend going all organic and advertising as such. People will be willing to pay the extra $5 to$7 a plate for delicious, invigorating food. read more

Totally exceeded expectations! Huge breakfast menu but if you go for lunch try the Philippino section. Mahi sandwich was fresh. Server was super friendly and fast despite covering the entire restaurant on a Thursday afternoon. We love FA cafe. We just returned from lunch. My tummy is really happy. I had the Lobster, Shrimp & Crab Burrito for $15.00. Their signature dish comes with melted cheese, salsa, sour cream, tortilla chips & beans. It was great as it was tasty and it didn't have filler ingredients like rice and beans to weigh me down. My husband had Cindy's Hot Italian Sub. It has ham, salami, cheese & balsamic vinaigrette. It was $6.00 My father-in-law had the bacon cheese burger. He commented that it was really good and he thought that it was a better grade of meat ....perhaps sirloin. The burger cost $6.00. Fries sold separately cost $1.50. My husband had the Chocolate Amaretto Cheesecake, $3.50, for dessert. Yummy! The atmosphere is perfect. Fun, beachy, casual restaurant with picnic style tables adhered to the wall. Plenty of fun beach memorabilia and knick knacks create a laid back happy feel to the place. The woman who waited on us was the co-owner. She was very kind to us. She answered questions and made us feel right at home. I strongly recommend this place as their food is delicious, the prices are very reasonable, and it feels like a "locals secret". There are approx. 6 parking spaces in front of the restaurant. I took some pictures of the outside. Don't judge the restaurant from the outside which seems a bit boring. Once I entered I felt like challenging my husband to the childhood game of I spy. There is just so much to see. They had specials of the day. DON'T PASS THIS PLACE UP! I cannot say enough good things!!!! The food is great, the service was friendly, the atmosphere was laid back. We are staying at the Embassy Suites across the street and so far ate at Little Margie's last night for dinner and this morning for breakfast and my family for real wants to eat here again tonight!! Highly recommend the shrimp burrito, the cheesesteak sandwich, and the pancakes at breakfast. Inexpensive and yummy! Oh, AND properly social distanced, everyone working wore a mask, patrons were asked to wear one upon entry and offered one if they didn't have one, they were sanitizing, and we felt comfortable. I ordered the Baja breakfast tacos, and my boyfriend got the full order crab cake cake Benedict. The Baja tacos are jam packed with eggs, sour cream, avocado, salsa (that i got on the side but so yummy), cheese and chorizo. They are amazing! The potatoes that accompany were cooked to perfection. My sister and I ate at Little Margie's café today based on the great reviews. I loved eating outside on the deck - it really feels like being in California sitting on A1A beach road and watching the world go by. The food was very good I had the big daddy which consisted of scrambled eggs fruit pancakes and a nice slice of ham. My sister had an egg scramble that looked delicious and we both had orange juice. Food was just remarkable but Margie is a bit of a Scrooge. Was there 8 nights over Christmas into New Year's & stayed in an upscale Hilton Hotel that unfortunately had (pricey) cuisine from basically one restaurant (same kitchen supplied bar & poolside fare) with a good but non-variable menu. Heard about & saw people bring food from "the taco stand across the street" to the pool so gave the place a try one evening, my last night in town. Good value, plenty of food, but definitely with an attitude. Again, no niceties, not even the offer of a beverage or napkins. The order was for 2, for take out. Plan was to take our tacos to the hotel's patio & enjoy the outdoor fireplace but alas, no set ups, not even a taco sauce! But, they were delicious...so, just be prepared to self-provide if you're wanting to picnic & I guess, just roll with the glaring 'tude. read more

Tried it based on the reviews, but honestly it was underwhelming. The eggs Benedict didn't have any flavor. The crab cake that came with it was better than the other parts and almost saved my meal if it wouldn't have been for the cost. My bf had pancakes that were very fluffy, prob the best thing we ordered. Breakfast was $32 plus tip which I felt was high. Probably the worst service I've ever had. The waitress didn't greet us when we sat down just came by and threw the menus down and walked away. Came back 5 minutes later asking what we wanted. We asked for our drinks which came out not long after; however, she never once refilled them or asked if we would like a refill. She was visibly annoyed when she took our order. Half the food came out and she comes back after we finished what was served and threw the check down. No mention of asking how the food was or even cared that we didn't get the rest of our food yet it was all on the bill. Food was very underwhelming, bland, eggs Benedict was drenched in the bland hollandaise sauce so the English muffin was soggy. Bacon was burnt crispy. This is the first restaurant you pass coming into Saint Augustine Beach from the north. Sunday afternoon I saw a sign for 50 cent local oysters so I'm too excited to think of anything else! Located just across from the ocean. (No view, looks like they are building a huge hotel or something.) The place is a little divey, but I like that. There is a small bar and high top tables scattered around. I asked about the oysters and was informed they are 50 cents if you buy a pitcher of beer. OK no problem there. I like that the pitcher and the glasses had the logo of the beer I ordered. I noticed the same at other tables so it wasn't just a fluke. I ordered the Goose Island IPA, and it was fresh and icy cold. The oysters had an order limit of 36, and they come steamed. They were so very tasty! Not too big but not small at all. Served with horseradish, hot drawn butter and cocktail sauce. Who needs a cracker, but they were offered as well. The server was so friendly, I think she may also be the owner. She covered the whole place as people sauntered in and out. They have a big breakfast menu that looks really good so I will be back for that too. read more

Very poor service. We tried twice once for breakfast and once for lunch. At lunch they brought food and never checked on us again. For breakfast the brought our coffee and 20 mins later we had to just ask for the bill when they finally came to take order. And two coffee were five bucks. The beach is literally across the street so you get a nice beach breeze. The food was ok. The staff was friendly although service was a little slow.
