The combination of Ham, salami, mozzarella with two slices of eggplant parmigiana was something I never could have imaged together on a toasted sub!!! When I saw mine arrive at the table I really thought 1/2 would be coming home, but nope... I took it on and WON! Didn't think I was that hungry but I was. This place is so charming with the friendliest owners! Fun atmosphere, authentic, delicious. We ordered The Bronx Bomber pizza and it was foldable and delicious, just like eating a slice of pie in New York. The desserts are fun, special, so good. We tried the Limoncello and the Lobster Tail, both incredible. This is both parts New York and Italy (I've been to both!) but something special all in its own right! Mid day lunch craving turned in to awesome new place for me to get Sicilian pizza and Italian cookies. Met the two owners husband and wife, they are very friendly had a wonderful conversation with them. One of the if not only spots I have found in East Tennessee that has Italian Cookies from Brooklyn, New York! Which is a staple for anyone that grew up in the north east! Tri-state area. The Sicilian. Pizza was very good, thick very airy crust perfect amount of sauce & cheese, very good flavors. It's it a very small corner location, but brought me right back to normal pizza spot I grew up with. Had some amazing desserts that reminded me of my childhood. I hadn't had a Napoleon in over 30 years. I bit into one from here and was transported back in time with every mouth watering bite. We're petty new to Knoxville, and other Italian places we've been have not been good. We grew up with GREAT Italian food, so our standards are very high. Boy does Little Nicky's deliver! Everything is homemade - the sauce, the meatballs, the sausage, the ravioli...We got sausage & meatball subs and ravioli. Next time (which will be very soon) we're getting pizza. And spaghetti. I've totally changed my review of this place. The first time I bought from there they were closed after my order was taken and accepted online. Not a good start. Still, I pass this place regularly so thought I'd give it another try when I could see it was open. I'm so glad I did. I love the pizza from this place. We had two subs, that had homemade Italian sausage and homemade meatballs with quality mozzarella cheese, an order of regular fries and I had a French fry dish with delicious tomato sauce and melted stretchy mozzarella cheese. We got a slice of marshmallow chocolate cake to share that was so rich and flavorful. Three drinks. And to take home an Italian Easter Pie with ricotta and ham and salami - enough for several people to eat with their dinner. Quality service and kind owners. These items and more are skillfully made out of authentic ingredients. If you get there before 3pm you can get two slices of pizza and a drink for around 8$. And a few other specials run the same price. Otherwise you have to order off menu. Most of the items are priced. The sweets- cookies galore- cakes galore, breads, are not. Everything they make is worth its value. If you cook and you buy ingredients you know this. For my family this place is a treat- as we don't live that close. But our ticket ran $113. The Easter pie being a big part of it. I say that so -if you are on a budget you'd better ask. Rather than being upset about it later and posting a bad review in retaliation. I so badly wanted to like this place. I'm from the east coast (born in Brooklyn, raised in Philly) so I love NY Style pizza. Unfortunately, after giving Little Nicky's a try, I don't think we'll be going back there. The Pros: The cheese and sauce used on the pizza are fantastic. Also, the fudge on our Napoleon dessert seemed like it was good quality. The Cons: Pizza was overcooked. Crust had little flavor. The garlic knots were fresh but had zero flavor (plenty of garlic but absolutely no salt, not even in the dough itself). And, to add insult to injury, the food is very expensive. A large pepperoni pizza with extra cheese, garlic knots and a small dessert (a Napoleon) shouldn't cost over $40, and if it does, it better be delicious. Unfortunately, this meal was not. read more

I went to Little Nicky's seeking real NY style pizza. The big failure here in East Tennessee and back in Florida (where I am from) is normally the crust. Little Nicky's nailed it!!! The crust was perfect! Now $25 for a large (18") pizza is expensive, but I went for it anyway. The crust was perfect, but the sauce was not enough. A little more sauce may have made this a great pizza. But it was still good. The lady who took my order, and the gentleman who made it- they were wonderful, polite and friendly. Made me feel good about being there. Not sure about the other guy there- not sure if just a boss or owner, but he did not seem like a people person. But he was not rude or anything, just did not seem as friendly. I lived five years in New York and New Jersey from 15-20 years of age- so I have had real NY pizza. This pizza is decent by those standards, really good for this area. Just ask for a little extra sauce if you go here. It should be really tasty! read more

Paid $40 for a pizza that was totally not what I ordered. I was given the excuse that the order wasn't written up correctly. When I called it in and asked the order taker to read my order back to me she perfectly repeated it. Not happy and I WILL NOT return. My order was supposed to be: one half pepperoni one half sausage full pizza mushroom full pizza black olive full pizza onion See the photo of my order and you tell me if my order was correct. Both sides should look the basically the same. The only difference is one side is sausage and the other is pepperoni. Mr E & I popped over to Nicky's on a whim, not knowing what to expect. What we got was probably the friendliest New Yorker that I've ever had the pleasure to meet. The proprietor, Big Dave, was so helpful & friendly. On his recommendation, we started with his signature garlic knot rolls, which were healed with a generous dollop of garlic & olive oil. Worth the mess btw. Our pizza was thin-crusted perfection with an unexpected amount of pepperoni scattered throughout. So so good. While paying our tab, I couldn't help but notice the display case of sweet treats. Not being one to pass on a pastry, I took home a container of cannoli & a slice of tiramisu. Let me pause here to tell you that I've eaten my fair share of cannoli and while I don't think I've ever had a truly "bad" cannoli, I've had plenty of average. Little Nicky's cannoli was the freshest tasting I've ever had. He fills it to order, so it doesn't get soggy in the case and it was divinely crispy with heavenly, creamy filling...not too sweet and smooth perfection. Even if I didn't like the pizza, which I did, I'd come back for his cannoli in a heartbeat.
