Tennessee-Ohio State not played often, when the Vols defeated the Buckeyes 20-14 in the 1996 Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida. The game featured a pair of huge stars. The Vols were led by then-sophomore quarterback Peyton Manning, who went on to became a Pro Football Hall of Famer and one of the greatest passers in NFL history. No. 8 Ohio State defeated No. 9 Tennessee 42-17 in the 2024 College Football Playoff first round on December 21, 2024. The Buckeyes dominated early, leading 21-0 in the first quarter and 42-10 by the fourth, led by Will Howard's two touchdown passes to Jeremiah Smith and strong rushing performances from TreVeyon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins. Clinton has many Knoxville fans, and nearly all are wearing Orange Ball hats whilst dining. I goto my XT5 to retrieve my OSU National Champs hat. At any rate Gondolier is full and most folks are having Italian or pizza. Caveat: This place is too good to order pizza.

We were welcomed upon entering, seated promptly and the waitress, Victoria, came to welcome and take drink orders right away. We received prompt and very courteous service. Victoria was a pleasure to have as a waitress. She engaged in conversation and smiled. Things you would expect when giving your money for a service but are rarely afforded anymore. The food was delicious!! There was a good variety to choose from. We ended up with the gyro plate and sandwich. The flavor was great and everything was toasty warm upon receiving. Thank you, Victoria, for the outstanding service and kindness!

The crust is great texture, the red sauce is the best we've ever had, and the toppings were tasty. The sausage is delicious! The house salad is tasty too. Our server was prompt and friendly. Chill ambiance with a couple TVs and open layout. Totally recommend. Cannot wait to go back!

We placed a simple order for two pizza pies on a Tuesday and were quoted a 15-20 minute wait time,…read morewhich seemed perfectly reasonable, for what appeared to be a slow day. To pass the time, we went to Walmart and returned about 27 minutes after the initial order was placed. Upon arriving, the staff at the front offered no greeting, no smile, and no sense of hospitality. Their demeanor made it clear that customers were more of an inconvenience than a priority. When I asked where to pick up my order, I was simply pointed toward the bar. I gave my name to the bartender, who also offered no greeting or acknowledgment beyond taking my name and money. At this point, I waited another 11 minutes (all verified with maps history). Meanwhile, my teenage kids were sitting in the car in the heat and humidity. I had turned the car off because I never expected a "15-20 minute" order to turn into a 37+ minute ordeal. I eventually had to leave just to restart the car so they wouldn't be sitting in unbearable conditions. When I returned, another employee asked for my name again, and only then, a few minutes later, was my order finally brought out. The most frustrating part? The restaurant was not busy. Staff members were standing around, and the hosts appeared more focused on their phones at times, than on the customers in front of them. As for the pizzas: the good news is they use real mozzarella and the sauce had good bold flavor. Unfortunately, that is where the positives end. Portions of both pizzas were missing cheese and toppings, and the crust was noticeably undercooked. After an excessive wait, poor service, and obvious lack of urgency, it is hard to understand how the food itself still missed the mark. For the high prices, this experience was nowhere near worth the price. My takeaway: save your money. Perhaps this was just an unusually bad day, but first impressions matter, and this one was terrible. When a business shows so little regard for customer service or the customer experience, it raises serious concerns about leadership and management. Employees typically reflect the standards of those who hire and lead them, and this experience said a lot. Quite honestly, unless management makes significant changes to its approach, I do not believe this business will last another year. It says a lot when my entire family would rather have Little Caesars, and for the same price, we could get six pizzas, instead of two here. That comparison alone should be a serious wake-up call.

Little Caesars Pizza is the third largest pizza chain in the US operating out of their headquarters in Detroit. Little Caesars Pizza has franchises in Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East. Little Caesars Pizza got its start in 1959 and is the brain child of Detroit's Tiger's farm team shortstop Mick Illitch. From its simple begins in a Detroit strip mall, Little Caesars has grown to an international franchise. I dropped in on a weekday afternoon and partook in one of the Hot-N-Ready Pizzas. I was in and out with my order in less than 60 seconds. My orders was a Pepperoni pizza and an order of Crazy Bread. The Hot-N-Ready pizza concept was first introduced in 2004 and all impatient pizza lovers all over the breathed a sigh of relief. The process is quick, easy, and inexpensive. The pizza is descent but you get what you pay for and at $5 it;s a deal. The interior of the Little Caesars Pizza on N Charles G Seivers Blvd was clean and the staff friendly. The shelves were well stocked with sodas and dipping sauces for unwanted crusts. The employees appeared happy and were a buzz of activity. If you have $5, you're in Clinton, and have a hankering for generic affordable pizza stop by Little Caesars.

The pizza traveled well but the knots were steamed to excess in the carryout container and became so chewy that they were inedible by the time we ate. The pizza, however, was fantastic. The crust was tasty and fluffy and the cheese and sauce flavorful. The pepperoni was perfectly crisped and had a slight kick. Aside from A Dopo, this may now be our favorite pizza in the area. We look forward to trying it again soon.

There is a closer Hoss to me but I always go to the Clinton Highway location. The Pizza is good, it's a tier above the national chains, and their Wednesday medium pizza special is a good value. I like a pizza that has a fluffy crust. We go here once a week and get a "thin" crust which is about the same chew as a local chains, their normal crust is a bit more fluffy - I like both normal & thin honestly. Their bone in wings are on point! Huge wings, with a well cooked, skin is not soggy - perfect. It's close, I like their specialty pizzas, their wings are better than the other local cafe options - way better than any chain. There is better pizza around - but the servers, the wings, the specialty pizza and flavors, I find myself here nearly every week so 4 stars.
