3.5 in reality. Food was ok ordered the slope burger and the eggs with corned beef hash. The burger was decent fries ok. The eggs and corned beef hash wasn't as crispy as I'd like and the home fries lacked some seasoning. Staff was friendly and ambiance quaint. Not sure if I'd come back but not a bad try spot.

Came here at the recommendation of the diners, diners, & diners guy and I'm so glad we did. Place is very cozy and we sat at the counter. Vibes were great. Owner was there and was super friendly to us and everyone else, as were all the other employees. Got the French toast with banana's and it was perfect. Like a top, top tier French toast. Also got a breakfast burrito but I'm not a big fan of rice and peas/carrots in breakfast burritos so the flavor profile wasn't quite for me, but it objectively was a really well made burrito. Also would recommend asking for the hash browns well done which I forgot to do this time. I think next time I'd like to try an omelet or classic egg breakfast instead, but I'll definitely get the French toast again. Coffee was awesome. Excited to come back.

This is a restaurant that knows how to treat its people, and its food, properly. A small restaurant located in Park Slope just off of 7th Ave (and a five minute walk from the F/G station of the same name), it is bustling with customers at 9 am. No need to worry about a long wait for a table though, customers are constantly moving in and out, and thought maybe the food moves quickly through here as well. Before coming here, I scanned the menu to see what was worth getting. I sensed a Mexican theme on the menu, and seeing a picture of Huevos Rancheros, I zeroed in on that. Now I will tell you beforehand, if you want meat and avocado with it, it will cost extra, but do it. It will make the plate more full, and your stomach. I also suggest ordering an orange juice with it to help with the digestion. The food does come quick, and it is immediately delicious. Everything is fresh and thorough and plentiful. I could not stop shoveling it in my mouth. Originally I wanted a corn muffin too but it they were already gone. No matter, I am already coming back here. It is only a question of when. My server, Nick, was amazing. Super genuine and intelligent, as well as good know-how of this restaurant. He was organized and personable. In fact, the rest of the staff was, though they appeared to be shocked that not only was this my first visit, but also that it took me a 30 minute subway ride on the F train to get here. Seriously, why do New Yorkers flip out when they have to go more than 15 minutes on the subway to get somewhere? 30 minutes is not bad at all. The subway was created for a reason. The prices are what reminds you that you are in Park Slope. However, the service makes you forget that. As mentioned earlier, I will be back, it is only a matter of when.

When my friend and I walked in, we were immediately greeted with a welcoming smile by Nick. He was so knowledgeable and friendly. The menu was brought to us by his lovely sister Rini. She was just as friendly with a great smile. The food options were plentiful and exclusive to the restaurant. The ambiance was perfection. We will defo key eat there again and again until we've tried everything.

Oh, Little Purity, how I love you. The warmest, kindest server I've ever come across. Like a wonderful, magical wizard, he is. We had such a great experience. The food is pretty good, but I come in for the environment and the staff.

This is what a diner dreams it is - I came with my son after a long morning in test prep class after which he is always starving as was I: we both ordered classic burgers and we were both floored at the quality. My son ordered fries with his, I skipped but we were told that since Jose was cooking, he packed a pile of his famous hand-cut fresh potato fries because he figured mom will be nicking a few wow- every single ingredient was of the best quality: DELICIOUS! Even the chocolate milk was mixed fresh. No short cuts, nothing processed. Even the dishes were fiestaware - so the whole vibe was cheerful, attentive, and left you feeling great for eating at a diner- prices were reasonable for the amazing food quality and helpful, entertaining service - Definitely coming back

Food and service was great. The owners were very friendly. It's a family business so the ambiance was very like home. Everything was great except it's a bit pricey, but would come back once in a while. Their sausage was awesome! Best ones I've had at any diner.

Our wait was at least an hour and a half and were texted when our table was ready. They have indoor and outdoor seating with one bathroom for all to use. I got a "pick me up" and it was perfect gave me a beautiful caffeine kick to start the day I recommend for sure. We got lucky as we were able to be seated in the first rounds of the tables that they had outside. We ordered the pancakes, wings and thai tea dessert. UNFORTUNATELY, for me, this place is OVERHYPED. Sure, the pancakes were soft and soaked with honey butter...but its really NOT THAT GOOD. I would never wait in line for this place. The wings were just meh...not really crispy, wasn't great as other korean wings I've had. The dessert was recommended and it was my least liked item ordered lol. All three items for a whooping $70. The mix of a thousand island type sauce with ketchup made this burger a 10/10. The sesame bun gives the burger a great softness with all the other textures. + the fries gave me the feeling of an elevated mcdonald's fry! caesar salad was perfect. Lots of lettuce, not overly anchovy and just the croutons were soft and crisp at the same time? very much enjoyed how big of a portions all of these items were. chicken parm sauce was tangy and had good flavoring with the perfect melted cheese on top of the soft but crisp edges of the chicken. i'd highly recc all three items we got! service was quick once we got seated and was nice to be outside in the warm weather.

While they have all the traditional breakfast fare, I was so happy to see it also had a Caribbean twist to it. I couldn't help myself--I had to order rice and beans with pernil (pork shoulder) and a side of sweet plantains. Of course, I wanted some actual breakfast items, so we got the French toast loaded with fruit. We also got both the tres and quatro golpes, which is a traditional Dominican breakfast. Lastly, we got a Caribbean omelet. My rice and pernil was solid. The rice could've used a tad bit more seasoning but when mixed with the side of beans and plantains plus a drizzle of hot sauce it was perfect. They had a variety of sauces--Tabasco (my fave), a Jamaican one that was super spicy, and a mild homemade one. The tres/quatro golpes was also a hearty choice with mangu (mashed plantain), sausage, fried cheese, and eggs. The pickled red onion balanced everything out. The fried cheese is similar to a halloumi but I think it's a bit more flavorful. All the flavors just melt together in your mouth perfectly. The French toast and omelet were good. I'd say the Caribbean items stole the show though. The place has a typical diner vibe and is on the small side. Food was served quickly and service was good. Discount if you pay in cash. I will be coming back to try their Cuban!!

Thankfully, the staff let five of us sit and start ordering while we waited for the sixth person to arrive, which I really appreciated. If you're coming with a group, I'd recommend having a few people arrive early so you can get in line while everyone else catches up, especially if someone is running behind. Our server came by quickly to check if we were ready to order, and the food came out fast despite how busy it was. Every meal was done correctly, and they were great about accommodating food restrictions. I ordered the vegan burger, and it was delicious and truly unique. I've never seen anything like it at another restaurant. Additionally, I enjoyed how they were already decorated for Valentine's Day. Maybe a little early but still nice. The vibe is that of a Mexican American diner, and the clientele are all clearly Brooklyn heights locals - some of which have clearly been coming here for decades. It is clearly a IYKYK spot. The menu is huge - pretty much anything you can want from a diner is on it, including a full bar. Also, the service is incredibly helpful and friendly. Even if you don't see something on the menu you can likely order it (within reason). On our first visit, we ordered the carbonara and we were hooked. How can this little spot we skipped over so many times give us such great food? Have we been missing out this whole time? From this first visit, we've ended up coming in many times during all times of day whether that was a late night dinner or hungover breakfast, Grand Canyon just hits the spot. It is not your fanciest meal, but it is comfort personified. While the carbonara is what made me fall in love with Grand Canyon (perfectly creamy and non-skimping on the crunchy bits of bacon), I've also yet to find a pulled pork sandwich as good as the one Grand Canyon puts together. I haven't left disappointed and hope this gem stays in the neighborhood forever. Long live Grand Canyon

Apparently there is more than one location in Manhattan. The inside reminded me of a classic diner. Comfy and with a pretty cool vibe. We all slid into a booth and looked over the seasonal offerings along with their standard menu. I was lured by the chicken Kyiv based on the picture of having two rolled up chicken cutlets stuffed with dill and other yumminess, but was a bit disappointment when it arrived with a single small cutlet on my plate with two heaping mounds of potatoes mash and broccoli. I instantly had regret when I should have gotten the borscht soup with pierogies, but wanted to try something I wouldn't usually. I should've stuck to what was safe. My work mom got the stuffed cabbage and that was a clear homerun- really loved the mushroom gravy that it came with. My other colleague got the potato pancake and wasn't too thrilled with it, while my boss got the two Swedish meatballs that he described to be Ikea worthy. Although this was my first time here, I can't say that anyone really loved the food nor would come out of their way to come back. I really was hoping this would have wow-ed me in some way, but I guess I'll stick to what's familiar.
