Always a nice meal and you feel at home. Looking forward to going back in September when they reopen :)

Small little family owned restaurant with incredibly friendly owners! Loved eating there. The large portions are perfect for a cold rainy day- broth is savory and not too heavy. The noodles soak up the flavor and sprinkle a little thai basil and lime juice in there and you see golden. The hot coffee with condensed milk is also splendid and packs a huge caffeine punch to get you through the day- would recommend! Owner recommended the spring roll as well which was pretty good, comes out quickly if you're hungry. Overall would come back if I'm ever in the mood for pho!

Excellent, and worth a drive. Our lunch started with a delicious and zesty ginger salad. The spring rolls (ch giò) were my favorite dish - crunchy outside, juicy and flavorful on the inside). The pork vermicelli noodle bowl (bún tht nng) was tasty too, though the pork could have used a tad more flavor, and the pickled vegetables (đ chua) weren't very pungent. It's not on a beautiful block, and there's no parking lot, but the inside of the restaurant is comfortable.

What a great find!!! It's a small not very attractive restaurant in Upper Darby. Wow the neighborhood has changed ( I used to live a few blacks away 30 years ago) with ethnic restaurants of every sort lining the streets. The owner waited on us and he could not have been nicer. As for the food.. some dishes were the best I've had. The Ban Xoe (crispy crepe) was amazing !! The spring rolls just as good. The grilled grape leaves yummy as well as the noodle bowl with beef. I didn't love the texture of the grilled meatballs. So... a super high positive review for the food. Prices are extremely reasonable. If you are gluten free you will be happy happy happy.

Best Spring Rolls you will ever experience! I love this little hidden gem. I have been to Little Saigon 3 times and decided to finally share my thoughts on the place. Parking: there is a parking lot across the street which you might have to pay for. I usually park at the metered spots along the side where H-Mart is. 25 cents gets you 45 minutes. Service: this is a mom and pop place. When you first get there you will be greeted right away. Getting a table is fast. The initial order takes a little bit longer to happen than most places. This doesn't bug me. I just want to note here that it is normal. Don't be concerned. It is worth the wait. The staff is very kind and helpful. Price: awesome! This place is not pricy at all. Go enjoy yourself! Food: Delicious! Get the spring rolls. Do it now! Get the beef on the sticks. Do it! I also enjoyed the prime rib but forgot to take a picture. Go check out this BYOB.

Somehow I'm always surprised that the dish I've ordered which seems so plain and simple, is always so unbelievably delicious. This restaurant, in upper Darby, is nothing to write home about when considering atmosphere because it's kind of a dive... but the food makes up for everything. We were going to a concert at the Tower theater and found our way up to Little Saigon for a quick BYOB authentic Vietnamese meal.I would recommend coming here and will come back when I go back to the Tower theater.

I would give this place six stars if I could. The food is always awesome and the folks who own it are the best. Go. You will not regret it.

Ask the Community - Little Saigon

    Has Little Saigon reopened?

Yes, they just reopened yesterday. Their new hours are from 3-7:30. I don't know what days of the week they are off.

Is this place hiring? I have a friend looking for a job.

No idea, you'll have to call and ask them.

Are any of the vegetarian menu items vegan?

I believe so, if anything the soup can be completely vegetarian if needed.

My mom and I had a great lunch here and the experience exceeded our expectations. The food was…read morefresh, flavorful, and came out quickly, but what really made our visit memorable was the outstanding customer service. The manager, Ben, was incredibly kind, friendly, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience. He went above and beyond by comping our lunch, which was such a thoughtful and generous gesture. His professionalism and warm attitude truly stood out and made us feel like valued guests. The atmosphere was very inviting, clean, and unique. A cute place to dine!! Thank you again Ben!!

Menu says everyone comes for the bread. I believe it. That bread is awesome. Our server let us have…read moretwo helpings! It's fresh baked and has some caramelized onions on it. Some kinda garlic, parm dipping sauce. Very delicious. We got N/A drinks that were super and came with semi translucent plastic mermaids. A real plus. We got the $50 for two double date which works out pretty well. 1 starter, two entrees and a dessert. There was another option where you could get wine instead if desert. A good deal I think. So we got the whipped feta dip to start. Very good. Then I got a super crunch salad with chicken that was super delicious. Only thing is I can still taste that the food was pretty salty. So now we get to the bad part. The reason I can only give it 3 stars. There was no one there. The place was practically empty and still it took forever to get our food. Even after brushing my teeth and a few hours later. 6:40ish we sit down. We had no where to be. So we didn't mind waiting to have our order taken. That took idk let's say 10 minutes to be charitable. Then another 10 and we got bread. Still no drinks. Probably another 10 before we got our drinks. Then we got another bread. Fast forward 10-15 we get our starter. Finished that. A while later we got the food. Rewind somewhere back during the ordering process we were supposed to get a desert menu. The new menu doesn't have deserts and we got that deal that includes it. So finally we are like can we get that desert menu? We get it and just ask for it to go right away. I can't sit here anymore. It's a a 20 minute drive and we got home at 8:31. Again we didn't have anywhere to be but it is a school night ya know. But yeah I'd go here again. I'd just make it a Saturday.
