A cute little shop located in the middle of Kapahulu. May the parking gods be in your favor. I've had luck with parking on Date Street which is less than a 5 min of a walk from the shop. When arriving, there are many cozy chairs inside, with a collection of board games to choose from. I noticed that UberEats type of delivery service were picking up orders consistently throughout our time here. We ordered the Strawberry Panna Cotta, thinking that it was a parfait dessert or served on a plate. Though when the gentleman taking our order asked for the sweetness level, we knew it must've been a drink. And it did not disappoint! I've never had anything like this before. It was the perfect blend of strawberry on top, not too sweet, not too sour and the panna cotta smooths it all out from the bottom up through your straw. The gentleman working there was very friendly, very kind, answered all our questions. One being that they do not serve food/desserts here anymore because of the shelf-life and unpredictability of people ordering these items, I get it. He truly seems to love his job and it shows. Walking each order out to everyone, whether they're waiting inside or outside the shop, he's hustling, not sauntering around. And in between, he's straightening the stuffed animals on the couches, so that they look presentable. It's the little things that count, and I appreciate that. I got the mango sago at 50% sweetness. It was a little bit sweet. I think id opt for 75% sweetness. The sago pearls have no sugary taste to them. The mangos were a bit out of seasoned kind of taste. I was recommend by a friend to come and try little sweet. I was really looking forward to it because they spoke highly of it. However, for me it was a bit of a let down. So I ordered a Classic Milk Tea regular sweet. After I received my drink I was curious as to what kind of black tea they used for the classic milk tea. I asked and the person working at the register at the time just looked at me and said, "I have no idea" and walked away... Anyways, the milk tea is drinkable although, after sipping at my drink for awhile it kind of coats your tongue with a heavy cream flavor? It wasn't pleasant and the tea flavor doesn't linger. Also regular sweet is way too sweet, so I recommend doing 50% or even 25% sweet as a normal sweet. Overall, I don't think I'll be coming back. read more

Still, I had stumbled across this place online because I saw a watermelon drink in a Yelp photo and thought it looked good. Big mistake -- I didn't even check the menu beforehand. When we walked in, I asked if they had just plain watermelon juice. They said no, but offered a watermelon mochi tea instead. I don't know who came up with that combo, but it seriously didn't work -- not for me, and definitely not for my friend. We got a little skeptical when they made the drinks in the back, and my friend even said, "I bet they're using powder." I was hoping that wasn't true... but once our drinks were ready, she took one sip and almost spat it out. She said it tasted super artificial. I took a sip too -- and yeah, same. I don't know if it was powder or syrup, but it did not taste fresh, and the mochi just made the texture weird. To make it worse, I had also ordered one for another friend who wasn't even there -- and instantly regretted it. The only saving grace was the service -- the guy that took the order was really friendly, so I'll give a star for that. But the drink itself? I wouldn't order it again and wouldn't come back. I love Little Sweet!!! The drinks are delicious, I think this is the best mango sago on the island. The owner is so kind. You can tell they put love and creativity into every item on the menu. The space is on the smaller end but cozy, they want you to actively hang out, do homework, play games, etc. (plus there is wifi) All the fruit bevs are made with fresh fruits and I think that really shines through. The mango sago is sweet, a little tart, and extra coconutty. I got to try the Violet Taro Mochi when they first put it on the menu a bit ago but it's creamy, sweet, and not too rich. But they were quick to stop it. And the smell was ... quite lovely. But wow. The mochi was so soft and delicious and the drinks spoke straight to our hearts by way of our tastebuds. There is something about the warm mochi and gooey in the cold liquid. The taro was not overwhelmingly sweet so you can actually taste the taro! And the brûlée is nice and crisp at the end. The boys drank their bobas so fast I didn't get to try them. The strawberry shake was delicious with crispy wafers in the topping. Strawberry was like an Asian strawberry milk - similar to Daily Whisk but (LS) way better bang for your buck. I saw this new boba place that I've never heard of via IG. They had a new series of black sesame and some other series that didn't catch my eyes. I didn't think I would be able to check it out during my visit this time but when my aunt mentioned she wanted boba, I jumped to the opportunity of us trying this new place, haha! It's located next to New Kamana Kitchen and across of Pizza Hut on Palani Ave in Kapahulu. We tried looking for parking but didn't know where to go and ended up doing a quick hazard car stop on the side on Palani Ave as there were no street parking either. We did pass by a small lot on Winam Ave. The owner(?) mentioned that was the small parking lot on the side of the building facing Winam Ave where his customers could park at. I'm a huge sucker for black sesame items, so I wanted to try one of their black sesame drinks. I got their Taro Mochi Black Sesame, three of the best things ever, in one drink! I was super excited. I got it with 50% sweetness and light ice. And I was quite impressed by the drink! The mochi was definitely the winner. It wasn't mochi balls but one big gooey, delicious mochi that broke apart easily when drank up. Similar to the concept of having pudding as a topping. I was very impressed by this style mochi as not many places do it like this. I only know one other boba shop so far, and it's located in San Diego! I did wish there was more of a heavier black sesame flavor as I thought that was lacking. The taro was there but also not that much. However, the drink overall was good! My aunt got their Black Sesame Boba Ube Milk Tea which she seemed to like! Overall, another good boba spot in the books. Came here with the family on a warm day while on vacation being that we just wanted a cold flavorful drink and im glad we stumbled across this place. The drinks are amazing, one boba, and 2 ice cream smoothies (some of the best I've had) they were delicious. The shop its self is nice as well, with comfortable seating to feel at home as well as good assortment of games and books. The other highlight was the staff, bobby took our order and made our drinks. They've been open for about a year on Palani Avenue. I forgot what used to be here - but they are next to what used to be Haili's. Parking is in the back on Winam Avenue. I think there are two dedicated stalls for Little Sweet in front of an apartment building. Also, you can use Haili's old stall and service spot. Front of the shop is a cross between a kid's bedroom and a grandma's living room...I don't know how else to describe it. The interior in back is that of a typical milk tea shop. Quaint and cozy. Menu offers smoothies and milk teas. I chose a Mochi Watermelon Milk Tea for takeaway. Quite refreshing and not too sweet - the fruit tasted fresh. I need to try other drinks. Little Sweet of heaven is what it is as the placement though a huge challenge in the parking struggle is very real the radar of finding a boba tea is sadly non-existent in this area. Filling my Instagram feed with cuteness overload I decided to check my luck which was with me that day as I got a regular unmetered parking just steps away. Walking in the staff was all at the back room which I thought gave me time to gaze over the menu and take some pictures of the cute and cozy decor. Waited and waited aaaand waited no one came...then said hello over and over then louder and louder mind you there was a bell alerting them supposedly when you enter with my loudest tone without seemingly being annoyed finally some came. Ordered a Pineapple Passionfruit Tea which was great nothing different from any other place and though they do make cakes and other sweets there was none displayed in the case on this day which was disappointing as well so I decided to enjoy my sip since I did have a great parking spot and was a bit turned off by the stained sofa...it may be brought from home or whatever you'd think they get the cushions covered or cleaned it just felt a bit disgusting especially for a place that's was newly opened. There are so many options I'm just a bit disappointed how lacking they seem to take on simple things like decor which I can only imagine what it may be like behind closed doors...will be back to give them another look over but they tea was okay. Have to update my review here since this is now my favorite tea place, and we come here once a week. My current favorite and has been so for months now is the Taro Mochi Brulee. It has so much going on. Nice taro flavor, soft mochi, and the sweet brulee foam. It even has some crackers for a little texture and crunch. I often intend on trying something new but almost always gravitate back to the Taro Mochi Brulee. I leave it to my girlfriend to be the guinea pig/canary in the coal mine. Last time she got the matcha milk shake, which I liked. She said it had Chinese ice cream, which made her nostalgic.
