I don't like it when the drink tastes too milky and this had a great matcha taste. The cafe itself is super cute and had a decent amount of seating. Maruwu Seicha's (second Moiliʻili location) will quickly become a favorite for its cozy, modern atmosphere, friendly service, and high-quality matcha drinks. First time visiting we decided to order the Yuzu Matcha Soda ($7.90), and the Matcha Pistachio Latte ($7.90). The matcha soda was not it for me. I realized I don't think I like carbonation with my matcha. The Latte however is my new favorite! I loved the creamy pistachio and bold matcha taste. Checked out the new Maruwu Seicha in Moʻiliʻili and had a good experience. I ordered the regular iced matcha latte with soy milk and Hokkaido snow top. The matcha had a nice earthy flavor and wasn't overly sweet, which I appreciated. I also tried the Uji matcha, Hokkaido, and ube cheese tarts, and they were all delicious. The shop is clean and spacious, making it a nice place to hang out or study. Service was quick, and the staff was friendly. I'm glad they opened a location outside of Waikīkī since it's much more convenient, and the parking is a huge plus. My only downside is the price. My matcha latte came out to about $9.50, and the three cheese tarts were another $12-13, so it can add up pretty quickly. Overall, I'd still come back for the quality matcha and tasty desserts. Next time I'll definitely try the matcha or hokkaido milk soft serve! read more

This is Maruwu's 2nd location in Oahu and they have a convenient parking garage on the left side. The interior is cozy and perfect for studying or working on a laptop. They offer medium and large sizes for the drinks. I ordered the pistachio matcha and I love how they infused the whole milk with pistachio. It's creamy and gets a 5/5 from me. You can taste both the pistachio and matcha. I usually am hesitant to order drinks without a cream top since it's usually watered down but this is not the case at all. I highly recommend! Tickled pink... On this National Pink Day don't be green with envy as I'm certainly tickled and thrilled to see Maruwu Seicha has opened its second location in Moili'ili on the ground floor of Hale Mahana. I'm so impressed of they transformed this spot to a cool zen vibe with lots of various types of seating from a community table, counter seating, individual two tops and several outdoor seating as well. Their menu options are unique as well using Kyoto Matcha in different ways from the usual latte to Sodas, adding soft serve or snow top including some exclusive matcha as well. It has been quite to scorcher so I decided on a soda...Yuzu Matcha Soda to be exact which is exactly that with crystal boba, and as this sip is almost to stunning to start I just couldn't resist the refreshing sip that had a very prominent yuzu kick and I loved it. I just couldn't resist t resist also their Uji Matcha Cheese Tart a delicate treat that was certainly the perfect size. The whole vibe here is great staff is so nice and friendly and love that there's a place to relax, work or just get your matcha fix, they also have Hojicha and soft serve as well...there's just so Matcha to try here. Fixed their soft serve machine the other day, so I tried the Match + Hokkaido Milk Swirl with matcha powder. I had the same ( minus the match powder sprinkle on top ) at their Waikiki shop...and it is equally refreshing. Service was a bit slow...it is their first week. Very good matcha! I got a matcha latte with matcha cream top and the default 50% sweetness was perfect. The interior was also very nice and pretty. Parking was decently easy to find on a weekday morning in the structure but I can see it getting crowded on a weekend. The drink is comparable in taste to the Waikiki location but parking is way better here so I would definitely come again. read more

Yesss! A good matcha iced latte. It is super matcha flavor and not just tastes like milk at all. Strong matcha tastes like Japan. I got matcha iced latte with soy milk regular sugar level :)! The store is very clean, lots of seatings and has a bathroom inside. Free parking, but limited. You can park at stalls that marked reserve (confirm with cashier) and retail only. I already try their drinks at the Waikīkī location, and I am here for the parfait. The picture is very pretty and I thought it comes in a clear cup. But when I see the actual product, I was shock. It comes in the ice cream cup with one tiny scoop of red bean, two pieces of warabimochi and some tofu pudding at the bottom. I really like the soy milk and matcha ice cream. However, $9 for that size is very expensive. I recommend the ice cream, but don't get the parfait. read more

Honestly I was really looking forward to trying out this place. Sad to say it's only 2 star because the Hokkaido soft serve is the star. The actual cafe itself is very aesthetic pleasing but parking is an issue for sure. While I understand parking is limited that is not the reason I'm giving this place a 2 star. The reason I am giving a 2 star in which I'm not the only person who's talked about it is their portion. For a medium cup that filled with mostly ice and the soft serve is "2 1/2 pump (which is exactly what the person who was calling out the order number told me". She didn't offer me any solution other than dismissing me. She could have offer me as to if I really want more soft serve, I can pay a little more. For a medium cup of green tea with mostly filled with ice and small portion of soft serve that cost $9.50 is definitely not worth it. Especially when you're comparing the actual thing to the photo which is misleading. I also tried their Hokkaido cheese tart which is tasty but not something that I will eat again. Their special flavor which is Ube flavored was so-so. Tasted more artificial than the real thing. In the end, I wouldn't come back anytime soon. read more
