Went to the Little Sweet on 9th Ave conveniently located near the entrance to GGP. Ordered the Mango Strawberry Banana Smoothie which was not overly expensive but not as smooth as I hoped for. The smoothie was a little grittier than expected. Will try something else next time. read more

We love Little Sweet for boba drinks, so thought we'd do a bigger order for a middle school celebration! Want to give a special shout out to Pat and Yvonne for making a big order for middle school kiddos possible! They were very accommodating with making a smaller size boba drink in two kid-friendly flavors: watermelon slush and fruit tea and packing it all up securely (before store open even!) for on-time delivery to excited middle schoolers. I've ordered from or come in person to this location of Little Sweet in Inner Sunset numerous times. The quality is pretty standard and consistent. I typically get the fresh fruit tea with boba and/or a bubble waffle. If I'm feeling extra indulgent, I have been known to get two bubble waffles all for myself in the past, but who's counting. Glad this classic go-to stays open a bit later after all the other nearby boba shops have called it a night. read more

Cute boba shop with a good variety of smoothies, milk teas, fruit teas and coffee. I enjoy the white gourd milk tea which is on the sweeter side. 50% is the sweet spot for me! Parking is limited to street parking. There are three kiosks to order and limited outdoor seating. read more

I love the brown sugar boba here! I always lower the sugar level since it always comes out still pretty sweet. The tapioca is super tender and chewy--I wish there was a way we could get regular sized ones since they're smaller than other places but I don't mind too much. It's still my favorite place to get brown sugar boba! I'm also a big fan of the new option to get it in a can when I ordered in store - It is really nice and sturdy. This location is just a takeout spot, no area to sit down indoors and only one small bench outside. read more

I was in the city so I decided, why not reward myself with a Little Sweet reward! Honestly, Little Sweet is my number one boba spot in the city mainly because of one menu item: White Gourd Milk Tea! Parking in the city is super challenging, and this area is no different! However, I think that the neighborhood is a really cute place to walk around with friends or family! As with every other Little Sweet location, this one has no public restrooms and also utilizes self ordering tablets. Unfortunately, the tablets were running into a network issues when I came by but they had QR codes posted for you to order through their website instead. Little Sweet is pretty "little", but the atmosphere is definitely a cute little boba shop, just no seats though! It always smells strongly of brown sugar boba as well! Now onto the drink! The White Gourd Milk Tea w/ boba ($6.30) is basically wintermelon and it tastes absolutely delicious! It's definitely mean for someone with a sweet tooth as it's very caramel-y and is honestly reminiscent of eating pancakes. However, it still tastes smooth and creamy and pairs with the perfectly chewy brown sugar boba. Even though I have a sweet tooth, I would definitely get this drink at 50% sweet but it is still the best! read more

I don't like Little Sweet nor Yifang's boba. The smaller boba prevent me from enjoying a satisfying chew. I like normal/bigger sized boba. That said, Little Sweet uses real fruit in a lot of their drinks so I can appreciate that. I don't know if they still have it, but their brown sugar bingsoo was really good. I appreciate that they have caffeine-free and dairy-free options. My spouse likes to order a brown sugar milk with regular boba and their extra tiny boba. If you like extra tiny boba, this is one of the few places that has it... def not for me. There are no customer bathrooms. There's not much of an area to wait for your drink inside. No area to sit and chill and talk with friends. You order your drinks on the tablet like a lot of boba places these days, so overall the service is impersonal. read more

I was craving some boba last night, as I do every weekend. I decided to come here since it wasn't too far and it had been a while since I last had Little Sweet. I placed my order online, so my drink was ready by the time I arrived. I went in and my drink was on the counter waiting for me. It was a quick grab and go, which I liked. I ordered the White Gourd Milk Tea and added boba, of course. I've never ordered white gourd before but I wanted to try something different. I used to have the Yeo's White Gourd Drink all the time when I was young, and this drink was just that but with milk and boba. It was nostalgic and yummy. The boba also had the perfect balance of softness and chewiness. The only thing I wished I could change was the sweetness level. 50% was the lowest I could go for this drink. Although 50% wasn't overwhelmingly sweet, 25% would've been ideal for me. Overall, I think this is a solid boba spot! read more

I love getting the watermelon slush here because they have lots of topping. Besides that, they have many drinks and egg pugs. My favorite is definitely the watermelon slush/juice. It's always so refreshing to drink even on a cold day. The workers are fast and gets the drinks done quick. It's really cute on the outside because of the big boba statue. Milk tea had too much milk, not enough tea taste. My Jasmine milk tea $5.40 was OK. They use good tea but the ratio of milk was off. The eggettes $6 was also OK. In terms of service, there are options to order from the tablets or via app. No places to sit and the shop is tiny. It is mostly a drink shop. At least they have eggettes. read more

NOW I've done it, I've done it good. I finally had salted cheese foam on top of the Mango Strawberry Sago drink and yes, I licked the lid. Just like a four year-old. It was that good. I enjoyed the pulpy bits of fresh strawberry and mango, just the right amount of "little sweet". The Incinerator had the Oreo drink and it disappeared too quickly to snap a photo. I know. I also discovered the joy of the Double Dash. Presto, make an order for an area business, then choose another within 15 minutes and boom, DoorDash will bring you two divergent takeout orders from two different businesses. In last night's scenario it was boba drinks + spicy Sichuan food. I feel like I discovered fire, ha ha. read more

I love this place and go to it regularly! They have lots of amazing options. I would recommend the mango sago or the strawberry hojicho (pictured). They add plenty of boba toppings and whenever I order different sweetness options they take it into account. I would've given 5 stars but the boba is quite pricey and you can get much cheaper boba elsewhere. There isn't any seating inside but there's benches outside that often have space. They do get pretty crowded but work quickly! read more

This is a solid boba shop that sells all of the basic teas with plenty of other options as well. Their menu is huge and has many drinks to choose from. Me and my girlfriend were hanging around the Golden Gate Park area and this was a short walk away. There isn't much staff to customer interaction in the shop since ordering was through the kiosk. The drinks were made quickly and everything else is straightforward. There aren't many good boba shops in SF, so I'd say this was one of the better ones. Both teas tasted solid, but (no pun intended) a little too sweet. The tea flavor was good and I'd recommend going a level down from your usual if you come here. read more

You order from a kiosk which is pretty simple for tech savvy folks but for those that aren't was a bit tough. Saw an elderly lady having difficulties but there were no workers around to help, so I ended up helping her. The boba was soft and chewy and although I got the brown sugar milk tea, it wasn't overly sweet, which is a good thing! read more

I've had many drinks from LS and I think it's a pretty solid place for boba in the city. This time, I decided to get a warm drink for the cold weather. Warm assam milk tea with boba - 4/5, warm is definitely a good option! I get cold drinks 99% of the time, but I think it's time to appreciate the warm drinks more. The assam milk tea was flavorful and the temperature was perfect. The boba was soft, chewy, and heated well. My only complaint is that it was too sweet for 50% sweetness. I usually settle for 50%, but this almost seemed like 100%. Will probably try 25% next time, or 50% at a different location. read more

Not sure why this place doesn't have 5 stars. I like how the fruits is fresh too. They also display all the fruits they use which is nice. We all just ate so I got the soft serve matcha boba instead. I loved it ! Boba was nice and super soft too. It got sweet later on from the syrup of the boba but I had a sweet tooth today so that didn't bother me. All my cousins loved their drinks as well. One of them introduced us to this place so I have to give her kudos. read more

One of my favorite boba spots in the city! I've tried several drinks from this establishment and my favorites are their Fresh Fruit Tea, Mango Sago, and Strawberry Matcha Latte. Super tasty and refreshing. Love that their boba always has the right consistency. This place is more of a grab-and-go style. Small entrance with two kiosks, no tables or chairs. One of the best boba spots in town! We ordered a hot brown sugar ginger milk tea with boba and a brown sugar milk tea with boba. Flavors are really nice (the ginger tea comes with fresh ginger) and the boba was perfect. Thrilled that this place offers paper cups as an option for cold drinks (first time that I have seen this on a e-menu!) and compostable straws. Even though I live right next to the one in Japantown, was in the area running some errands yesterday and stopped by the Inner Richmond one. Nice open store front (the windows open up) which was a nice touch. Ordering through kiosk made it easy but can definitely order through the counter as well. Super quick & efficient! The flavor of their Tie Guan Yin tea was on point! I ordered the Iron Buddha milk tea and based on other reviews on here I got 25% sweet but it was not sweet at all. They were kind enough to fix it to 100% sweet for me and it tasted just right (tasted like 50-75% sweet if I were to get a milk tea anywhere else). We also got a lemon tea and even though it wasn't that good, we appreciated their extra efforts to remake the drink to be more flavorful and sweeter. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Fair prices. Open til 10pm every night. Small store with two kiosks to order from, no restroom available for use. read more

I recently visited a juice shop in San Francisco where you order your own items through their self-service POP. The place is a decent size, but they do force you to leave a tip of a dollar. Anyway, my drink came out to $8, which is a bit pricey, but it was very tasty. The service was average, probably because it's a busy shop with customers coming non-stop for various types of smoothies and boba drinks. Not much to say about the service, but the inside was very hot. Overall, I'd say check it out if you're into fruity flavor smoothies because you can actually taste the fruit. Recommended by my friends at East West, I had to give it a try. Ordered the mango sago and omg, it was so good! Generous portions of toppings, sago, and fresh fruit! It was perfect and not too sweet. They have several locations in the city. I tried the one on 9th Ave in the Sunset District and Geary Blvd. Staff is friendly and shop is clean. They display fresh fruits at the counter and you can pay at their kiosks or order directly from them. They offer smoothies, teas, and shakes! Little sweet my go to boba place when I visit SF! I usually park in the neighborhood near the area and walk over. The inside is relatively small but you order on the kiosk and the orders come out relatively quick. I got the tie guan yin drink with boba and it was aromatic and the boba was flavored. Because of a coconut allergy in the family I had to ask if the popular mango pomelo sago had any coconut. Unfortunately, it has coconut (milk or oil?). As soon as I heard coconut, it was a no go. I wasn't familiar with pomelo and the lady told me it was like grapefruit. I still wanted to order a mango drink and went instead with the mango smoothie also 75% sweet with less ice. The customer following me asked about alternative milks which they do have. I overheard that they have oat and almond milk. Both drinks were excellent. The milk tea was not too sweet and I appreciated the peach bits in the drink. The mango smoothie was really creamy.

I was genuinely sad that I couldn't finish it. That's one of the reasons I don't order boba very often. I can eat way more food than I can drink liquid for some reason. But I'd happily return to Urban Ritual to work my way through more of their milk tea menu the next time I'm in San Francisco.

Although the drink was eventually remade, the staff did so while visibly frustrated, slamming cabinets and displaying negative energy throughout the interaction. It created an uncomfortable experience, especially considering how polite and understanding the customer had been. Customer service and basic courtesy matter just as much as the product itself. Unfortunately, after witnessing that interaction, I do not plan on returning. Please teach your staff to be polite and understanding.
