    Taylor jianbing
    Sarah M.

I've driven by this place so many times, each time noticed how busy it was. Finally stopped in for lunch and I can't believe it took this long for me to try it. Order at the counter, take a number, then seat yourself at any of the open tables. We got a jianbing, beef noodle soup, and the chili oil wontons. Food was great! Wontons were tasty and I liked that they weren't slippery and were easy to eat with the chopsticks. The Taylor Jianbing was sensory perfection! Light, refreshing, and flavorful. The crispy wonton wrapper inside is everything, and adds the perfect crunch. We also had the beef noodle soup; the beef was perfectly tender, and while I loved the taste the soup was a little salty for me towards the end and I couldn't finish it. I'm looking forward to coming back for the jianbing, and trying one of the other noodle dishes!

Classic Duck Jianbing, You Po Mian

The noodles were solid, but I'd absolutely come back for the jianbing. Duck is a classic protein, and it really hit the spot after dipping in chili oil. What I didn't expect is the crunchy "wonton cracker" (basically a thin layer of fried dough). Not sure if that's traditional, but DEFINITELY yummy. Love the crunch added to the texture. Solid service and vibes.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]A good busy spot! I came here on a Sunday late afternoon and it was still super packed so it took a while for me to find a place to sit down.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] After ordering it took around 20 minutes to get my food. I ordered the classic duck jianbing and the you po mian. The jianqiang was pretty good as was the you po mian. The noodles were nice and chewy and the sauce tasted good however the pork belly bits were too thin and burnt to my liking.

I really wanted to give this place a higher rating but I wasn't to impressed with the food. I got the beef noodle soup, and while the noodles had a good texture and the meat was tender, the broth was underwhelming. As it was a duck broth I feel like it could have had a deeper more meaty flavor. My friends got the yo po mian with the pork belly. While the noodles themselves were good the sauce was lacking in flavor. They ended up adding the soy sauce from a different dish to add more flavor. I also thought that for the price the portions were a bit small. However, the staff were lovely and so helpful and the food came out quickly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant also has a cute and trendy ambiance thats great for chatting with friends.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

**vegetarian review** [[HIGHLIGHT]]Such a cute and small place, small but vegetarian friendly menu![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I got all 3 vegetarian noodles, chili oil wonton, cucumber salad and veggie delux roll. Literally everything tasted so good! It's a little pricey but food felt fresh and delicious overall. Highly recommend

I ordered their pork & cabbage dumplings and Jian bing crepe sandwiches and it was so delicious! I'm not sure what sauce they use in the sandwich, but it was so tasty and earthy flavors! I definitely want to come back to try their noodles next time!

The food was amazing!! just what me and my family were looking for. Service was fast and menu was easy to understand with options for everyone. The cucumber salad was an amazing start to our meal with the peanut sauce. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance was really nice with indoor, outdoor and some stools for bar area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Good for familys or any type of gathering.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Noodles, dumplings and loaded jianbing
    Kimberly H.

We became obsessed with the food truck and were delighted to hear there was an actual restaurant!!! Of course we had to get jianbing loaded and with the expanded menu we tried noodles and dumplings. The 3 items came to about $55 and was good amount for my husband, 2 littles and myself. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Don't love having to bus my own table but the venue is cute and the cashier was incredibly nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is very cute little shop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The portions however are pretty small for the price and could use a bit more flavor.

I tried this place while on a business trip and immediately knew I needed to try it again -- this time with my wife. Best meal of the trip hands down. Perfect bite for a quick meal on the go that packs a lot of flavor and provides you with your carbs, protein, and veggies. The service was quick and friendly. You do order at the bar and pick up at the bar when ready, but the staff is available to answer any questions you may have. We did go right at lunch time on a weekday, so we had no problems finding seating, but I can imagine it can be limited on the weekends. Next time you're in Portland, you need to try their Jianbings! PS: they do also have a food truck.

Such a scrumptious place to grab a bite. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Loved the vibe and atmosphere of it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was great and food truly gave me a taste of such a beautiful culture I had never experienced before with trying a Jeinbing.

    ROASTED DUCK LOADED JIANBING
    Cass A.

My spouse recommended this spot after visiting the food cart previously. I wasn't sure what to expect, but this meal left me in awe. We split two loaded jianbings: the five spice beef and the roasted duck. Never in my life have I had anything like this. The crepe was thin and soft while the cracker (think wonton texture) gave it the best kind of crunch. The flavors complimented each other particularly well and the freshness of the veggies amplified the contrast between them and the richness of the protein. I will be dreaming about these until we come back to Portland.

We usually go to the food cart for the Jianbings, but because of the winter, they started offering Jianbings in the Bing Mi Dumpling and Noodle Bar. Unsure if this is still the case though! This 5-star review is for the delicious Jianbing that never disappoints! There is only street parking available. The space is small and cozy and there is a limited amount of seating indoors, but service is quick, and people are usually in and out.

Unfortunately, I knew the moment I took a bite that this was pork broth. Not only this, but the broth was overly sweet compared to any other khao soi I've had in my life. The egg noodles were all stuck together. I did enjoy the tofu, they were firmer in texture. My friend ordered the the tom yum and said it also didn't taste like tom yum, and she has been to Thailand before. We both liked the Thai tea, it wasn't too sweet and only $3. We came for lunch and ordered the chao mian with chicken (spicy) and bian bian noodles (spicy). The noodles are cooked to order and we were served quickly. The serving sizes are huge. Neither one of us could finish ours. We'll likely order one dish to split next time, and that'd still probably be more than enough. The flavor of the chao mian was a bit lackluster. It was savory with a soy sauce flavor base, but got a bit repetitive with each bite. It was decently spicy and texture was there with the veggies, but I wish there was a way to customize with more spice or vinegar to taste. The bian bian noodles were more flavorful and also spicier. Fun noodle texture. There are also other vendors in the garden so you can pair a dessert, drink, or side with your meal while staying in the same area. Overall, a filling meal for a good price! Would come again to try their beef noodle soup.
