Food was awesome! Service was great! This is a small intimate place we love! Best Italian around!

We dined here for our anniversary dinner as we were in the area. The vibe was inviting while the pianist played soft music in the background. I ordered an Aperol Spritz to start. It was made properly, and I was happy about it. I was delighted to see they made the Caesar salad with real anchovies. The gentleman who made it tableside was friendly and gave us a nice show. Oh and the complimentary bread was awesome. The unfortunate thing about this evening was that they were down one waiter, and they were extremely busy tending to a large party in the back, so we had to wait almost an hour for our entree. However, the pianist informed us of the situation and nicely tamed my flame so to speak. The entree was definitely worth the wait! I had the lamb chops with risotto, which was cooked perfectly with generous portions. My wife's shrimp pasta was fantastic as well. I had low expectations for Italian food around Tulsa, but this definitely tops the list for sure. To round out our meal, we had to try the tiramisu, which did not disappoint (cue the annoying influencer voice). It's likely one of the best ones I've had outside of Italy. Highly recommend! We were sad to hear that the owner had passed away recently, but his legacy will live on, and I can't wait to go back to try the other dishes. read more

Our final bill was a bit pricey but it was well worth it! What a place. We almost walked right by it after parking across the street. We were greeted by the piano player when we entered. The hostess wasn't rude but wasn't the friendliest, but the owner/chef was very personable and checked in on us a couple of times. We started with the antipasti platter and tried the table side Caesar. Both were great. (Bread is delicious as well). I had the Vitello al Marsala and we also tried the Arrabbiata. I would order both of these dishes again. To round out the meal, we had the Sgroppino (Raspberry Sorbet and Prosecco) and the pie of the night. Pie was OK. Sorbet was delicious. Paid $70 for 2 pumpkin ravioli dinners, one side Caesar salad, and a tiramisu. There were 5 ravioli in each order. So essentially nearly $4 PER RAVIOLI!! And the salad was as absolutely basic as caesar salad as you could make. Literally lettuce, 4 croutons, Parmesan and dressing. It was $14!!!! For a side salad?? The ravioli was too sweet, no spices whatsoever, and the bread was not warm and totally bland. I am SO disappointed as I have always heard good things about this place. My in laws invited us to this Italian restaurant in downtown Sand Springs for dinner. We didn't know what to expect but as soon as we arrived we were impressed by the charm of this little restaurant, very inviting and warm. The owner Walter and his wife Candy are great host and will make you feel at ease. The menu is not extremely big, which is a good things. However there is still enough variety to please everyone: spinach salad, lamb and quail, lobster ravioli, fresh sea bass... everyone can be satisfied here. Some dishes are served table side like the sea bass being deboned in front of you. The table got the sea bass, lobster ravioli and clams, grilled lamb and quail. Everything was delicious! We ended dinner with Tiramisu, carrot cake, a crêpe Suzette prepared table side and two espresso. Great little gem in the heart of Sand Springs, we will definitely be back! read more

This was actually our second visit to Little Venice in downtown Sand Springs. We dined in on a Thursday evening, arriving right after they opened at 5pm. We were immediately greeted and asked if we had a reservation, which we did not. They seemed a little stressed about the no reservation (with only one table occupied when we arrived). Still, we were promptly seated at a quite table for 2 near the back of the restaurant. Our server immediately greeted us and offered us a drink. I had an Italian margarita and my husband had a beer. The Italian margarita was great!!! The server also brought out fresh baked bread and took our order. We started with the table-side Caesar salad, which was delicious! As for the main course....although each of our entrees were good, they were not as great as we remembered on our first visit. We will still return in the future (and get reservation ahead of time as we did on our first visit). I will also note that we were finished with our dining experience just shortly after 6pm and there were only a few tables occupied with guests at this time. Old school charm, vintage recipes, attentive and engaging service. I enjoyed a classic Ceasar Salad and a perfect Dover Sole at my first visit. Their homemade Limoncello was lovely, the Cherry Cobbler was a perfect finish. The price point is on the higher end but I felt it was earned. Walking into this place in downtown Sand Springs we had no idea what to expect, the owner Walter is a long time Oklahoma supper club pro, so we had high hopes. His wife and he greeted us with live piano music, a ready seat( make reservations well in advance) ....There is nothing more theatrical than a chef setting your dessert alight with a burst of flames tableside at the end of dinner. This was our first visit, but we had all heard many wonderful things. My experience was satisfactory, not over the top. Our server was polite and attentive, but young and learning. He prepared our Caesar table-side and did a fine job. No other staff members gave us any attention, including the owner. Our table had 2 lasagnas and a rigatoni. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. The bread was late, but very good, hot and fresh, but served dry. We had no time for dessert, sadly. For 3 entrees and 2 salads, our total bill was $150, including 20% tip. In my opinion, Little Venice attempts to emphasize old school service with delicious food. The service, while outstanding for our area, wasn't the finest I've experienced in this price range. I'm sure we will return to try the sea bass and the veal. And the desserts, of course. Been wanting to try this place, I am so sorry we waited so long! It was awesome! If you want real Italian food this is the place. Upon entering, I loved the quant atmosphere. We were seated immediately. Reservations are required. We were absolutely blown away! I loved the true taste of Italy. We had salads, entrees, I had lobster and shrimp ravioli, the sauce was exquisite! My husband had the lasagna, of course I had to try it! Dessert was a must, best banana's foster I had(video attached). Tiramisu was decadent. We were impressed by the staff and attention that they gave everyone. Absolutely phenomenal food. We all had the table side Caesar. I like the one from Celebrity club better but it was good, and fresh. My grandpa and I had the veal and my mom had the lobster ravioli. The veal was an Italian take on chicken fried steak, really interesting and delicious. Didn't get a chance to try the ravioli but my mom raved about it and she's a tough critic. Service is amazing! Everyone is personable and just absolutely pleasant. We had a reservation for 6:30 PM but arrived an hour early. They seated us anyway. There was a pianist, who is absolutely talented! The ambiance is perfect! There was an electric fireplace going since it was a rainy cold night. The owner came to our table to have a quick check in on our food. Afterwards, he came by before we left shook my husband's hand and gave me a side hug. The food is amazing! We started with drinks of sweet red wine for me and crown and Coke for my husband. We had the house salad with fresh baked bread, superb! My husband had the shrimp and mussels over pasta. Oh my, the best tomato based sauce over all of that. I will be ordering that when we go back for sure! I had the veal, shrimp with wild mushrooms, pasta, and veggies, talk about good home style food! We finished with the amaretto cherry sauce over vanilla bean ice cream, what a treat! If you haven't been, go and treat yourself! My new favorite place to go for sure! Ten of us wanted to get together at a "nice" restaurant. We decided on Little Venice based on the recommendation of one of our friends. We made reservations, dressed nicely and met at Little Venice. Not one of our group was disappointed at our choice. We were greeted as if we were their best friends. Drink orders taken, the waitress explained the menu to us and answered our questions. The bar has limited choices. The owner/chef, Walter, came in to meet us and offer his suggestions and wine pairings. Caesar Salads were made table side. The food was prepared to perfection. All pastas are handmade in the restaurant. Dessert choices were made. Cherries Jubilee are made table side and the tiramisu is made in house. Both desserts tasted perfect. Overall it was a wonderful evening with great friends and great food. Thank you to the owner and hiss very professional staff. A word of advice: This place is expensive but worth the cost. It is upscale and reservations are HIGHLY recommended. The previous negative reviews posted are obviously made by people who had no idea that this is an upscale establishment and walk-ins might not be able to be accommodated. read more

The food is incredible! Wonderful service. We got the table side Caesar salads to start. For entrees we ordered 2 of the rigatoni & spicy sausage and the shrimp and lobster ravioli. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted so good that there was none leftover. For dessert, the banana foster! It was to die for!! The ambiance is so cute and cozy! They have a gentleman playing piano which adds to the ambiance. Owner is very friendly and always talks to every table. 10/10 recommend. My second time here and will definitely go for a 3rd. This is a great little spot in downtown sand springs. The staff is awesome and so friendly. The owner always comes around to check on you and make you laugh. This hidden gem is located in downtown Sand Springs. My wife and I ate there one evening in April 2022. Atmosphere is not normally something that impresses me. And, just because a food is fancy, unusual or expensive, doesn't impress me either. I seldom think it's worth the cost. Mostly I go to these places because my wife insists lol. HOWEVER, Little Venice is the exception. It's worth it! It's worth the drive if you live out of town. It's worth the cost. My wife and I got salads, appetizers, mixed drinks, entrees, & we both got dessert (I had two deserts!). Including tip and tax it was $220. You could get out cheaper, but splurging is worth it. The atmosphere was classy yet very comfortable. I was comfortable wearing jeans. I saw others dressed nicer. The piano player was a nice touch. I could easily go there, have a drink at their bar and listen to the piano. The service was first rate. It felt like we were the only ones being served. The food is excellent. The Caesar salad was the real deal and made at your table. Tiramisu was so good I ate two. I've eaten a lot food around the world and I'm not easily impressed...so believe me when I say this is a hidden gem. Probably a good idea to make reservations. read more

Great service and food!! The veal scallopini was absolutely amazing! This was the first time I've ever had veal. My family and I went on 10/31/20 to celebrate my mom's 76th birthday. She had lasagna and I have to say it was the best lasagna that I have ever had, in a restaurant. My daughter in law and I ordered the Brasato di Bue, however we did not get the lobster ravioli that was supposed to be served with it. They served butternut squash ravioli with pumpkin sauce!!! I think they thought we wouldn't notice. I thought maybe they got it mixed up but they didn't have any!!! They charged the same price though, it would have been nice to know that when we ordered so we could've made a informative decision. They tried to redeem themselves by giving us one serving of veal scallopini to SHARE. Anyway the lemon drop martini and limoncello shots were delicious.
