    Happy hour oysters and fries

Ambiance was good but was there for the one $1.5 oyster happy hour deal, the oysters were fine but a little small overall service was good

Such a cute place for a casual dinner, or pregame meal before a night of drinking. Downstairs is more formal dining and upstairs is cute and lounge-y with couches and bigger communal tables for groups. Everyone working ws polite and the food was absolutely delicious. We split the pasta, burger and brussel sprouts. I would recommend to a friend and would return

I brought some out of town friends here because I figured it'd be nice to eat and then go upstairs to the bar area. Dinner, I got the chicken caesar salad (9/10 was really good) and the fever green (8/10 definitely a strong lemongrass taste) My friends got the crab linguine (9/10 really good definitely a little heavy) and the mistake mushroom rigatoni (7/10 could've used more flavor) Then we ordered another round of drinks and headed upstairs. Maybe it was too early (9:30PM) but it was odd because half of the space was large tables eating the other half was people standing around drinking. We weren't a fan so we left for a more fun bar!

Crab linguine were star of the show. Need to go back and have two of those. We have started with a bunch of appetizers to share and a cocktail. Drinks are really nice, I got some citrusy flavored cocktail which was fresh and tasty. Deviled eggs, mussels in white sauce, toasted bread, fresh sweet oysters (should've done dozen), everything was delicious and fresh. Pasta not overcooked, hot (don't be a baby, eat carefully and don't burn your tongue) with good amount of lobster mixed in. Lava cake deserves a separate review. I don't even like chocolate, nor I care for lava cakes but that was great! Soft, moist (yes I used work moist), not too sweet, not sticking to your teeth or roof of your mouth. Highly recommended. Everyone very friendly and attentive! Extra points for the door handle

One of my favorite spots in the city. The mussels are my go-to starter. The buttery savory cream at the bottom of the dish are perfectly paired with a toasted slice of bread. The crab linguini and baked halibut are absolutely delicious. My favorite drink is the spa day drink. Super refreshing. The service is always a 10/10. The vibes are super chill for dinners with friends or even a date. The later you come, the more fun and upbeat it is.

Came for brunch with some friends. Got some yummy cocktails and few bites. We got the crab linguini, pear and pistachio salad and the ham and cheese board. Crab linguini was amazing and the salad was very refreshing! However, the cheddar cheese had MOLD! No apologies, they brought us another one but after that I didn't even want to touch the cheese anymore.

TLDR: Simple, cute little restaurant in SoHo serving delicious entrees. Get the mushroom pasta and quinoa bowl. Come here for catch-ups with a friend or two, or maybe a relaxed date night. FOOD: 1. Mushroom Pasta (5/5): Delicious al dente rigatoni with the right amount of cheese and mushrooms so that the cheese didn't overwhelm the taste of the mushroom or pasta. I really loved this since it was so flavorful. Really great portion 2. Quinoa bowl (5/5): We added chicken to it. I really appreciate finding healthy, delicious options at restaurants. This was exactly that -- something I would order every day for lunch at work if I could! Really great portion. OTHER: Really nice server, cool vibes inside with a little darker/dimly lit atmosphere and interesting bar area. Convenient location in SoHo. Overall would come here for a casual meal!

Fun Soho vibe, surprisingly friendly staff and very attentive. Tried the Soho Burger, not outstanding but still satisfying. Had a glass happy hour white wine but it wasn't chilled lol.

My friend chose this spot for an after work happy hour and everything was *chefs kiss* They do have a $2 oyster happy hour which i loved and then drinks were pretty much just wine and beer. The inside of the restaurant is a little rustic but designed to feel like you're inside of a garden lowkey. (I love the interior) We sat upstairs which was super nice and opted to sit at the bar. My bartender was so friendly and attentive. For my entree, I had the most PERFECT crab linguine (that I still think about til this day). The crab meat to pasta ratio was more than enough. The sauce was seasoned perfectly, that I didnt need to add anything extra other than my usual hot sauce. The portion was honestly fit for just one person and didn't leave me feeling stuffed. My friend got the kale cesar with shrimp which she said was really good. All in all, I cant wait to go back to this place and try their other menu items,

I really enjoyed my meal & drinks here! I went with two of my girlfriends and we split 3 apps and two entrees. We got the burrata special which was really tasty, oysters (loved the hot sauce it came with), and the french fries were giving elevated mcdonald's. I LOVED the crab pasta & the mushroom one was also so good! The drinks were on point and our waitress was so nice and served us up until the point the upstairs dance floor was too crowded to reach us. At around 10:30pm a disco ball comes out the vibes change into more of a club feel upstairs. Such a fun place to start your night! I'd recommend.

Cute restaurant in SoHo with vintage decor as an interior and chill vibes! Came here after work in Tribeca and they have happy hour deals until 7 pm ($5 beers, $7 glasses of wine). I thought our waitress was super speedy and friendly, our food also came out quicker than a usual restaurant I felt. We also got the Harry Styles drink which didn't really blow me away. For food, I got the salmon with risotto and thought it was SO good, but a pretty small portion. My boyfriend got the burger and it wasn't the best burger but it was still good. In short, I thought this was a cute find of a restaurant with a fun cocktail menu and good happy hour! If I come back, I would want to check out the upstairs area!

We were seated within 5 minutes. I ordered a bourbon old-fashioned and we ordered crab rangoon as a starter. There were a lot of them and the sweet chili sauce was great. For my entree, I ordered the vodka rigatoni and a side of buttered broccoli. The vodka rigatoni was really good - liked the flavor and a decent size of pasta. The broccoli was really good for some reason to me. Also tried the truffle mac and cheese which was incredibly rich and tasted great. As a dessert, we had the chocolate pie which was dense, rich, and topped with a huge dollop of whipped topping. I really liked the atmosphere of the place, loud roaring 20s style with jazz playing. Plus I kept finding myself checking out the mural on the wall. Try it for yourself - but worth the fight to get a table.

Did an earlier dinner on a Saturday with a friend at the bar. We got some similar items, some different. The thing I kept the same was my martinis and all three (sour cream and onion, tomato, and espresso) were just as amazing as ever. Food-wise, I stuck mainly to the classics with one new dish: - Pizza rolls: Very good but 3 pizza rolls for $20 felt small to me. I feel like I remember seeing others served more when I've gone in the past, but not completely sure. They're nostalgic and fun, nothing to die for. - Fries: Great as ever, we opted for just one of the sauces (avocado dill). - French Dip: This used to be cut in 3 pieces and now it's 2. Works well with a duo but I do think it's actually a little smaller now than before when I compare photos. - Samoa sundae: Still amazing, still so so worth. It was fun going with a friend who hadn't been before and seeing the joy upon trying the dish! Bar service is friendly as always and they do a decent job moving you along to ensure the necessary turnover without feeling too rushed.

Let's start with the Lobster and Caviar Roll. Maine lobster, brioche, caviar. It is genuinely one of the best bites I have had in this city, and I say that as someone who eats out constantly. I ordered a second one. Zero shame. Truly an all-timer. The crudo was equally impressive: delicate, pristine, and light in a way that made you want to slow down and actually taste it. The kind of dish that quietly earns its place on the table. Now, the everything bagel Caesar. I cannot overstate this. Everything bagel croutons, warm crispy cream cheese bites tucked in, piles of parmesan. It sounds like a gimmick and it absolutely is not. It is one of the most creative and satisfying salads I have had in recent memory. Ordered it, demolished it, thought about it on the way home. The five cheese pizza rolls round out the meal perfectly. Flaky, cheesy, indulgent without being heavy. Comfort food that actually has a point of view. The room is beautiful, the velvet booths and marble floors deliver that old New York energy without trying too hard, and the service keeps pace with the food. Get the reservation. Get two lobster rolls. Thank me later.

It was our first time eating at a Friedman's location. It had a nice diner feel to it, with a mix of booths and tables. The brunch menu has a variety of breakfast items, salads, sandwiches and burgers, starters, and entrees (fish tacos, grain bowl, fried chicken). I like that several of the items are naturally gluten free, and some can be made gluten free by request. We decided to go with three breakfast items from the brunch menu: I got the shakshuka, my sister got the Nova Benny, and we got the lemon ricotta pancakes to share. All 3 dishes were great. The shashuka came with grilled ciabatta, perfect for dipping into the sunny side eggs and tomato sauce. My sister loved that the poached eggs and smoked salmon of the Nova Benny came on top of a crispy potato latke. The pancakes were fluffy and the lemon ricotta and lemon zest elevated their flavor. Our server was friendly and attentive, and he asked us if we had any allergies when he took our order. He came by several times to check on us and refill water. I would return to Friedman's when I'm in the Herald Square area, or check out one of their other locations in the city.
