Lovely little children's bookstore with a diverse selection of picture books, MG and YA books. Cute journals too! They have weekly Storytime and special author events. The owners are very helpful and knowledgeable about kid-lit. I highly recommend giving this sweet store a look when you are in midtown Tucson.

I love Bookmans and always will! I've loved this place since I was a kid and I make it a point to…read morevisit every time I come to Tucson. The prices haven't changed a whole lot since I was little which is nice. I love their book buying program and have existed solely on store credit for years now. I love bringing my old stuff in and shopping while they evaluate it. I live in Oregon now but I make sure to hang on to my credit slips for my next visit. The parking lot is huge but it can still be hard to find a spot on weekends. The store is clean, as are the bathrooms. The people working here are a real delight and are always super friendly and ready to help out with whatever you need. I will always be a Bookmans fan as long as they exist.

Presentation: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Efficiency: 5/5 Customer Service: 5/5 Price: 5/5 As every Tucsonian knows, this is a second hand store that has a LOT to offer everyone. Whether it's a magazine, Fender Stratocaster guitar, 1980's metal cassette tapes, LP's, maybe a graphing calculator?? - puzzles, entire decades of video games and miscellaneous wires and controllers, or even a an odd book mark, THIS is the place! There are ONLY two Bookmans left in Tucson, and even through the pandemic, these places bring in the crowds. Sometimes the prices aren't much of a bargain, so check online if that's important otherwise the inventory if huge here. The customer service is always top notch, today I was looking for a coin collecting book and sure enough, they had it; and knew EXACTLY where, on what shelf it would be all from communication from the counter. The staff are all knowledgeable, you and they offer an Educator's discount of 20% if you're in that line of work and as many may not know, you can Trade in nearly anything there! And while the plethora of people are constantly working those front doors, the lack of general seating is something I don't think the management sees properly. People are always looking for a spot to sit as the store is huge; management, please, seriously take note! Summary: Wonderful place, no drink counter (management..!?) great customer service and a dedicated spot to bring your children and get them interested in books! Would absolutely recommend this place, especially if you're new to Tucson!

I was born and raised here in Tucson and I can't believe it's taken me this long to head in. As an educator, I immediately explored the young readers section, and I was very impressed with both the books for sale and the other items for sale. I grabbed a funny cat themed tote bag (priced well!) and found a sci-fi book. The space is welcoming and encourages time exploring and looking at books, which I love! Also, they have a huge collection of used and cheaper books! I felt great about spending my money on a locally, female owned bookstore instead of big corp. Next time you are in need of a book, of any sort, a little gift for someone or a card, pay this fun little business a visit!

Lovely indie bookstore with a decent selection of book choices of all genres. In addition to books…read more( mostly books) they do sell other paper goods (cards, journals etc) and some other gifting items (for self or others) such as tshirts, stickers etc. They also do have a used book section offering a range of affordable prices. This is a small space with a lot yo offer... only thing I miss is some seating while perusing. I am always happy to find bookstores as I am one of those people who like to touch my books when I read and enjoy book art.

What a surprisingly large, two-story BN here in Tucson. I was weirdly surprised by how small the…read moreHarry Potter section/supplies were. Maybe interest is waning. Anyways, I stopped in for a journal and found a beautiful blue leather lined journal with a fleur-de-lis on the cover. Then I stumbled across a "part-time" adult daily planner that was undated. Normally I wouldn't go for undated but this one spoke to me. The store is laid out really well and is very spacious. I appreciated the small Hanukkah display that was available. This is where things went a little sideways for me as I looked at the items on display. Two parties have a responsibility here, the buyer, Barnes & Noble, and the supplier, Paper Source. I'm so confused as to why either party believed an ornament was appropriate here. For what? We don't have anything or celebrate for which we would use an ornament. A Hanukkah bush is not a thing. The other thing that confused me was the with challah. Such weird items for Hanukkah. There isn't nor should there be an equivalent for every Christmas item to Hanukkah. They are not the same thing and there is no equivalence. Other than these weird Hanukkah items, if I were in the area again and needed to come back to BN, I would definitely stop in here. And per contract/usual, there was a decent sized Sbux cafe inside the store. One which I will never visit since I do not give my business to Sbux.

All the monthly book club reads were announced on a chalk board as you walk in, and I was greeted with a welcome as I walked in the door!
