I work in Littleton and there aren't many places for great pizza. Hands down the best mushroom pizza I've ever had, the vegetarian is great but with all the veggies it's a little soggy in the middle. Love the tomato pizza as well, when they're ripe you can't beat this option. Sausage and pepper also didn't disappoint, I prefer veggies on my pizza. I tried the chicken parm sub that someone suggested, meh, I adore the sauce on my pizza but not on my subs or pasta. Steak bomb was excellent and the fries hot and crispy. I've been ordering here for six years, and I will be honest, I would love to say that their food is something to write home about, it's not. Pizza is generic, the rest of the food you can order anywhere, what it does provide is convinced, even though for the quality the food is overpriced, but what isn't today? I live within walking distance from the sub shop, I have two kids, one of them just turned two, so getting them up and going and keeping them safe at night is not viable. So I order for delivery. Before they hired delivery people who also worked in the shop, now they are utilizing a third party, and not only has my food NEVER shown up hot, it doesn't show up warm. I am a 5 minute walk with two kids, and a vehicle can't travel a minute or less to deliver the food hot? The last driver went to the wrong address and went 7 miles in the wrong direction. The other driver sat in their vehicle in my driveway waiting for me to come out of my house so I could "get my food" this one was in the parking lot for 20 minutes. Neither spoke English. They are using Uber to deliver food or some other variant. This is not OK. If you want to lose business, that is how you do it. I will not be ordering from here until they have stopped using a third party. I buy food expecting it to be made hot and ready to go. Not 40+ minutes late because they can't follow instructions or can't speak English so they wait for someone to come out because they don't have the ability to communicate otherwise. I had a craving for a steak and mushroom sandwich so I thought sure, why not! I'll give them a try! I am two bites in and just about gagged on the amount of gristle in this sandwich...I maybe got through about 1/4 of the sandwich actually being edible. No greeting as I walked in the door. Traveling north on 495 at around noon time, I took the Littleton exit hoping to find a local place serving lunch. The sign for this pizzeria and sub shop drew our attention so I pulled in hoping to find pizza by the slice. but was told only full size pizzas are offered on Sundays. After reviewing the overhead menu, my wife and I settled on sharing an Italian cold cuts grinder. I am not sure what passes for a grinder in Littleton, but what was served bore only token resemblance to what I call a grinder. The wine vinegar was MIA as was the oregano. Where's the meat? 3 extra thin slices of inexpensive sandwich meat on a large, overly bready grinder roll proved to be underwhelming. Also, can anyone spell tasteless? This was by far the worst grinder that I have ever had the misfortune to eat. Come on Littleton, you can do better than that. read more

Website prices on their online menu are not honored, I ordered chicken finger dinner, Menu online states the price of $12.99. I was charged $16.04 Menu on line states it comes with a salad. According to the owner, they stopped serving a salad with dinners. I asked for a refund of the difference and the owner said no, He said why should we reimburse you "Its only $4.00". At Littleton sub shoppe, there is a pretty extensive menu, unfortunately most isn't all that great. Some of what I've tried over the years(and how I rate) Pizza---2.5 Chicken wings----2.5 Fries----4 Steak bomb---3 CheeseBurger---2.5 Chip selection---1.0 The exception to this is the chicken parm sub(4.5!!) which I always find myself going back to. Two pieces of chicken breast piled on top of provolone cheese, with loads of marinara sauce. I can't tell you if it's freshly made(doubt it), but it's good!! read more

Our large plain cheese pizza arrived cold, greasy and oddly separated! 5 slices were fresh and still joined together but the remaining 3 pieces were together but separated from the main 5 pieces and totally different looking. I can't explain this oddity other than to think maybe they swapped out the 3 original fresh pieces for 3 pieces that they had left over for slice sales at their bar area. This is something that's never happened to us before and we'll never take a chance on it happening again. Much better pizza elsewhere. read more

I stopped by the Sub shop on two occasions and both times I had to tell the guy making my sandwich to please use gloves. The person was clearly annoyed when I asked for this simple request. If the person preparing the food is actively making sandwiches and that's there only task that fine but when your are making food, handling money and moving recycle boxes around then you need to clean your hand and use gloves. Needless to say they do not worry about clean hand when preparing food in the backroom. I have not returned there. read more

I grew up in Littleton and the sub shop has always been around. When I was really young the food was great. Then they were purchased by new owners and the food went down hill and the prices went up. The must be under new management/ownership again because the food is great again, service is friendly and VERY quick! There are more choices for pizza toppings and subs and they have added dinner plates that they didn't have back in the 80's or 90's. But now, what once was just a small town pizza shop, has now turned into a gathering spot for locals to watch whatever game is on with a refreshing drink - Pub on the Common. Small in it's size, it makes up for in a cozy atmosphere. Dining at Pub on the Common is no problem either. Not happy with my order today. I got a buffalo chicken salad and asked for extra blue cheese and they gave me one packet of ranch dressing. Finally they came back and dropped it off but my salad was already eaten. Was cold when they dropped off our food too. Also my employee ordered a wrap and they did not put mayo in it or cheese. The only complaint I would note is that sometimes the quality is inconsistent. Prices are in mid-range, you can get a full sub for under $8. I like their mozzarella sticks, the steak & cheese sub is tasty and packed. Moved to Littleton about a year ago now, and this place has become our go-to for quick and tasty pizza, subs, and apps. Their specialty pizzas are great, and they're loaded with toppings. We usually switch back and forth between ordering the BBQ Chicken and the "Sub Shoppe Special", which is basically a veggie lover's AND meat lover's pizza at the same time. It's intense in all the best ways. Prices are reasonable, quality is consistent and good, and your food is served fast. What more could you want? Oh, there's also a pub attached to the place too! I think they have maybe 8-10 taps and some bottled offerings, but what they do have is pretty good. You've got some Bud/Miller/Coors/Yeungling taps, and you've got some Sam Adams/Harpoon/Local craft brew taps. AKA Pub on the Common Liking the new pub attached to Littleton Sub Shoppe. It's nothing fancy, but provides a good local place for decent food and drinks. A place where you can just hang out with friends and not feel pressured or rushed. Menu is expanded version of what's available at the Sub Shoppe. Limited wine selection, though the Pinot Grigio I had was enjoyable. Can't comment on the beer - I don't drink it. Happy to see this go in. The owner is very supportive of the local schools and community organizations, and I'm happy to support him in return. read more
