Found this place on yelp while driving home from VT. Ordered the nashville hot mushroom sandwich and the corn chowder. My only disappointment over the whole experience is that I live so far away! The mushrooms were crispy and crunchy, just the right amount of spicy and loved whatever the little spread inside was. The corn chowder had a great thick consistency, lots of corn and potatoes and great flavor. I highly recommend this place wish I could try other items! read more

This is a new location within the Whole Foods in Westford. This is my third time trying Clover (first time here). This place doesn't disappoint. I feel so healthy eating whatever Clover makes* (*not sure the actual nutrition but it makes me feel like healthy :P). The Golden Oyster Mushroom sandwich was delicious. I thought here were oysters in this sandwich but it's just the type of mushroom. Dumb me. The mushroom is fried so there is a bit of a crunch. So again, since it's mushroom, I feel healthy eating it but since it's fried not sure it actually a healthy choice. But it tastes great anyway! The strawberry broccoli platter comes with two salad sides and tofu. The serving size is very filling. I would enjoy the tofu more if it was hot like right out the fryer. But it was served room temperature which I think it purposeful since everything is served as a cold salad. The service was great! The server was kind to explain each of the dishes and let me sample them before choosing the two dishes I wanted. read more

Clover Food Lab has a real nerve to call this healthy. Take a look at the sodium and sugar contents. OUTrageous!! So this means it is really NOT healthy..why is it that restaurants that call themselves "healthy" are really NOT healthy?! Look into the sugar and sodium content and things look different. Wooooo this place is good! I went with the Yelp recommendations and had the chickpea fritter (falafel), it was just as good as everyone said! I came in starving and luckily it was a good sized sandwich that left me very full. It was cool to hear they started as a food truck and have many locations now. We often travel north to see my parents in New Hampshire and the healthy quick food options have been .....limited. NO LONG'AH! Let me list the reasons... * their menu is always fun and evolving * flavors are outta this world (the perfect cream-to-crunch-to-chew-to-everything ratio)...Vegetarians rejoice! * they list out ingredients and potential allergens (wheat/dairy/etc) - you know EXACTLY what you're getting, the fact that they work local growers is just the cherry on top * fast food fast - wait time is minimal (certainly on par if not better than sub/sandwich/burrito shops) 3-8min MAYBE...but don't just take my word for it, they have the estimated times from order to hand-over listed on their menu * price is fair and o-so-fine (~$8 for a sandwich and ~$4 for a side) This past Friday around 7pm 'wait' times were about 3min which was fantastic for picking up the Carrot Sandwich for the road and .....it didn't even make it to the road (took a bite while waiting to pick up a cake from the Whole Foods bakery and ended up falling in love with the flavor - had to sit down and ENJOY that meal). Warm pita, habanero sauce, the last of the winter storage carrots, roasted and flash-fried, feta sauce, a cabbage honey lime slaw, fried farro .....that's just magic right there. Finally clover food lab a little closer to home. This place is clean and consistent and always have a ever changing menu. I got the mezze platter which comes with 4 different salads and the silkiest smooth hummus you'll ever have. Side of falafel is great with the hummus to and totally addicting. My favorite place for a quick lunch. Great sandwiches, great bread, the salads they put together are sometimes strange, but almost always very good to great. For vegans, the chickpea fritter (aka, falafel) is great, the Mayor Menino BLT is great and the BBQ seitan (*if you want it vegan, be sure to order without cheese*) is my favorite. I also enjoy a chickpea fritter platter occasionally. Oh, and did I mention the rosemary fries? Those are INCREDIBLE! This is fast food done exactly right. The menu is not huge, but is constantly changing and evolving, though the specific items I've listed are always on the menu, at least so far. I also want to make a point to say the staff are truly fantastic. This was my first time at this Wholefoods Market. What a nice place. It has so much more to offer than other Wholefoods that I shop in my opinion I stopped at The Clover and decided on the Tom Menino BLT Oh man it was so good and satisfying. Love this place. Although I'm not a vegan, I'm addicted to that chickpea fritter sandwich (aka falafel sandwich). And the egg sandwich is also delish. It's a perfect balance of tangy and smooth and the symphony of flavors explodes in your mouth in that first bite. Open wide, this pita is stuffed to giant proportions. The high protein content keeps you full for hours after the ginormous pita-hummus-falafel sandwich is gone. I love putting in my order, getting my shopping done, and leaving Whole Foods with my tasty treat. Was about to order a sushiritto but then decided for something different. Was approached by Clover and he asked if I would like to try anything. Not knowing much about their cuisine, I asked what they were all about. All vegetarian and also local. I like all of those. So I decided to try the satien sandwhich. He was like "if this is your first time, you might want to try something else." So I switched it and got the chickpea sandwhich with a side of beet walnut salad. OMG! Amazing and it blew my husbands mind. Such a small sandwhich packed with lots of different flavors. Loved each bite. The sushiritto will have to wait another day. Absolutely love Clover and was so excited when I saw that it would be in our Whole Foods (which recently opened)! I generally, and when I say generally I mean always, get the beloved falafel sandwich with the rosemary fries but today decided to finally switched it up. I inquired with the manager, who is always there and is seriously so nice, about the Japanese sweet potato sandwich and OMG. The flavors in this things are ridiculous. Food is super tasty, and the staff is always accommodating to preferences if necessary. One time I got a sandwich that was not what I intended it to be, and the staff simply replaced it with another one of my choice with no questions or guilt. It is a delicious concoction of beets, onion slaw, and cheese sauce on a fresh pita. It is very filling, so if you can't eat the whole thing, throw it on the ground and roll in it like a dog. Clover is excellent. The rosemary fries are amazing. They make some of the best falafel (chickpea fritters) in Massachusetts. I always get the platter with two sides, and add Rosemary fries. I've had falafel platter, golden oyster mushroom platter, and blue oyster mushroom platter. Love it. Live it. Eat it. I almost die for it. Thank you for having clover so close to my house! I used to drive all the way to Burlington and/or Cambridge-MIT to eat Clover.
