I just completed my live scan here. This place is a little hidden and you have to walk along side a building to reach the front door, but it wasn't too hard to find. I went here after trying to get my fingerprints with a lady in Beverly Hills that had no idea what she was doing. After the second time my prints taken from her were rejected from the FBI, I decided to go to Live Scan and more. We did the fingerprints electronically and they were printed on the fingerprint card (smudging was an issue with my previous fingerprint cards). They treated my problem like their own - and that was cool. As we know, if you are parked on Wilshire after 3 PM, you can kiss your car goodbye. I arrived at 2:40 PM (40 minutes early for my appt.) on the off chance they could fit me in. I explained that I was parked on Wilshire and presto - they really hustled to get my Live Scan done - even with a customer ahead of me. I walked out at 2:58 PM - just enough time to hop in my car and avoid being towed. What impressed me most was that they actually CARED. This is THE place to do fingerprints in LA. Thankfully, I didn't have to go through any other bad experiences as I'd seen this place on Yelp and these reviews don't disappoint. The machine wasn't accepting quite a few of my fingerprints, however Barry was patient and persistent. He wanted to make sure these fingerprint were accepted and said that in case they weren't, he'd redo them. That is incredible customer service in my eyes! There's usually plenty of parking on the side street and this part of Wilshire. You won't need to put much in the meter because Barry is quick and efficient. 1-hour free parking on Willaman (just S. of Wilshire) makes this spot all the more convenient to get to, and the arcade-type locale in which Live Scan and More is located is quaint and mellow. Barry and his trusty associate are helpful, friendly, and most competent. I printed out the $18 voucher, which saved me $5. Very rude and unfriendly! I went there for a livescan fingerprint for a job. After 40 min. of trying to get my fingerprints, Augustin (one of the guys working there), told me that "my fingers are not good enough". He told me that for sure the DOJ will reject the livescan and I have to do them again at another place and will be charged again. I asked him why he filled out the application form from my employer saying that the livescan is done (he even tried to charge me $74 for a service that wasn't received), although he knew that the job is not done properly. The guy got angry. Thankfully his colleague​ Barry (Bared) Costanian came in the room and said he also has​ done livescan, but the machine wasn't working properly and was rejecting the fingerprints taken from other clients (so my fingers were okay :). He told me that their machine needs to be sent​ for fixing and told me with a rude tone to go somewhere else. I did go to another place for livescan and everything went smooth and fast. What a difference. I will never go back to Live scan and more in Beverly Hills. Rude, angry, unprofessional people don't deserve my business! read more
