Then my sister went in first and I waited in the waiting area. I was offered a whole cold bottle of water, which for some of you might feel like a standard, but I thought it was a wonderful add! The massage was great. The masseuse was polite and paused frequently to ask if I was doing okay (if I needed more or less pressure, feeling ok, etc.) She was able to get the knots I really needed to get rid of. The hot stone was presented and I said sure why not...but it didn't really do much for me. It wasn't warm enough. Though the service was good, the ending was not very consistent to the whole experience. We came in with the understanding that the price was $39.99 and with tip would be $48 each. We only brought cash with us and paid together. We handed her a $100 bill thinking we'd get back $6 after tip. I think she got confused as to why we wanted to change back. After much back and forth, we realized that the services weren't listed with updated prices. The service was $49 instead of $39. (which means if we calculated with tip, we underpaid her by $20.) We felt bad walking out because we thought we brought a 20% tip with us but we ended up only giving them $2. Just beware if you go, it's still pretty decently priced but bring extra cash or a card in case it happens to you. 1 star knock off purely for the fact that the advertised price was not the true price.

Once my service was finished, I was brought up to the front desk and asked to pay for the full amount of my service plus the additional service that I added. I explained that I had booked using a gift card and I understood I would need to pay for the additional service that I requested. They insisted that my gift card was expired and that I wasn't able to use it. This is INSANE as I just received the gift card a few months ago. After arguing with me for about 10 minutes, they insisted I pay via Venmo and did not allow me to use my credit card. They then stopped me and insisted that I send an additional tip. After the session, there was no follow up or check in at all, which has never happened in any of my previous experiences here. I was tired of bouncing around, so I gave it time to see if things might improve. In the end, she agreed it was not the right fit. What was most disappointing was how it was handled. It took several calls, emails, and texts from me to learn that my sessions had been canceled less than 24 hours before my next appointment. The front desk told me the owner was supposed to call me about the cancellations and to suggest an alternative therapist, but that call never happened, and there was no follow up afterward. There was also a brief moment that stood out. I had left more than 20 percent, though less than the week before because the experience felt different. When I shared that, it was suggested that the front desk might not have passed the full amount along. That surprised me, as the front desk team has always been consistently kind, professional, and trustworthy. I want to be clear that the front desk staff are excellent. They make scheduling seamless, communicate thoughtfully, and create a welcoming environment every time you walk in. I am writing this because I cared about this place. I used to genuinely look forward to coming here. Moving on feels like losing something familiar, almost like losing a friend. I would still welcome a one on one conversation with the owner, as I would have appreciated that before. I hope the practice finds its way back to what once made it so special.

A 24 hour cancellation notice would have allowed to make alternate plans somewhere else. In addition, I received a text message stating I would be contacted if other spots opened that same day or the following day. Needless to say that no one ever bothered to follow up.
