I bought 2 recliners that looked great on the show floor but when I got mine they were crooked and one was more crooked than the other one. A service person came and did what he could but agreed with me that one was still really crooked and the store would contact me. The store never called me so I called them. ****BUYER BEWARE - Living Spaces **** We recently visited and purchased some chairs at the Menifee location. Our sales associate was great to work with, and we recommend her. We planned on a Sunday delivery but specifically stated the delivery had to be after noon since we had church in the morning. She said, "No Problem, there is a 3-hour window to work with. Also, you will get a survey; please rate me and not the delivery service". Sunday morning, we got a text stating they would be there between 10:15 and 1:15. We called to tell them we weren't home yet and would take 40 minutes to get home. The driver told us we were next on the list and would be there at 10:30, and we asked if he could wait or go to the next delivery and return. He was very rude and said I can only wait 15 minutes. You can reschedule for the next day, but we'll charge you $139 to reschedule. When you try to reach the store you are redirected to a call center; they make you go into the store to address a y issues in person. We were so frustrated with their delivery process that we wanted to cancel our $4K order. We went to the store, where some young so-called manager was rude because we were canceling our order. She asked my husband to leave the store because he was voicing his frustration with our experience. She said she would cancel the order but charge us a restocking fee of $400 plus. We contacted American Express right away and disputed the charges. We received a credit for everything but the restocking fee which AMX is disputing. They took a fun shopping experience into a "I will tell everyone about our negative experience with Living Spaces". I'm sure this isn't what their Corporate offices want to read about. I see why they get two stars. On April 26.2025 I purchased a living room set, TV stand, and dining set at the LivingSpaces located at 30251 Antelope Rd., Menifee 92584. At the time of delivery, I noticed that the TV stand being delivered was warped and told the delivery personnel I wouldn't accept damaged merchandise and to return it. The store then offered to waive the delivery fee if I agreed to accept their damaged merchandise, which I declined. A few days later when I opened the blinds to let in light, I noticed a dark stain or discoloration along the entire bottom length of the couch I hadn't even sat on yet. After filing a claim, I was informed by the claim's person, Cheryl Calloway, that nothing could be done about this damaged merchandise or any compensation. I don't know if they delivered a floor model or if it was shipped to LivingSpaces in that damaged condition, but either way, it is a bad way to conduct business and poor customer service for a repeat customer. I have requested one of three ways to resolve the issue. I will accept a pick-up of the damaged merchandise and a replacement of it, including delivery, store credit to replace the item, or a full refund. Once the matter has been resolved, I will update my complaint to the Better Business Bureau and amend my review on Yelp regarding your customer service. I look forward to a timely response. read more

I came into living spaces to make a purchase for my livingroom sectional and for a bed frame for my 10 year old on the weekend because of work and the girl who approached me was very nice at first and once we made the sectional we proceeded to bedrooms where she handed me over to some girl who was singing Beyoncé while selling mattresses. I thought this was very unprofessional? and a little awkward, we picked out a frame it was time to run for progressive and got approved and i did it all at the front desk with a nice lady and it was time for the girl with the makeup who came up to me first and she was working with another guest . Super helpful when deciding what couch we wanted and helping us decide what colors to match our house. Super pleased! We bought 3 items today. (Bed frame, dinning table set, and ofc our new couch!) The warranty wasn't bad at all. 75$ for everything for 5 years. She helped me apply for the monthly payments. Called to help verify as well. Got everything written up and good to go. We bought our sons bed 7/17, told some of the items were back ordered until 8/22. That was okay because our home flooded and we had time to wait for it to come in. Fast forward 8/22 no delivery, no notice of pending delivery. I called the mainline. I was told there was some confusion and to call back the following Tuesday. Out construction was delayed so it was not a big deal to wait. I called the Tuesday and was told THEY NO LONGER MAKE THE BED! I asked how this was possible considering I had ordered it months ago. They were unapologetic and could care less about the situation. They said I could pick something out online or get a refund. I'm disgusted. Horrible service by Assistant Manager Vontray!!!! I would like to give more stars because we received exceptional service from sales associate Krissy. Went to LS a few days ago to purchase furniture and found a shelf that I really loved. It was defective and price was reduced to $221. The sales associate put my items including the shelf in a cart for me to purchase when I returned because I had to go home and measure. I returned a few days later and they put a new price on the shelf of $479. I had taken a picture of the shelf and price tag on the first day I came in. I asked Krissy why the price changed and if they could honor the price that it was originally. She checked with the manager who explained the original shelf had sold and this was a new shelf. I then showed the manager the picture with the scuff marks that 100% matched the shelf that was still there. Vontray then came over with an attitude and very rudely said "we did a price adjustment and can't change it". I explained we were spending a lot of money and that he should honor the price I had in my cart. NO APOLOGY at all, he just shrugged his shoulders and walked away. I don't know how in the heck he could be a manager with the attitude he has. When walking out, he was at the front desk....no have a nice day or thank you for coming in....he just ignored us. My MIL bought a loveseat, power reclining, and got a loveseat that rocks. So it couldn't be set next to the wall. She told the delivery team that it was the wrong item, but they said to call the store. She called the store and they told her to make a video of it and bring it in to the store. When she went to the store, they told her what was on the order (even though the salesperson acknowledged that she made a mistake) and refused to exchange it. They said they called the corporate office and they said there wasn't anything they could do. My MIL is 85 years old and she just followed what they told her on the phone when it was being delivered. The loveseat was $2200.00. I tried to help her by writing a letter to the corporate office explaining what happened and asking if she could pay the 25% restocking fee and get the right loveseat. They, including the President didn't even bother to respond. I will never shop there again! Buyers beware! read more

If I could give less stars I would. We bought a $2000 table from the Menifee location 13 months ago. Sales person told us it was "real solid wood" and even online says the same thing. He conned us into getting the 5 year warranty so that "everything will be protected" for 5 years. EVERYTHING was a lie. We go to file a claim this week, because we are noticing more and more scratches all over. Scratches that don't happen with real wood. This is veneer type scratches. I can make a scratch with my fingernail, and it shows a light plastic looking material underneath. The claims got denied because they ONLY fix things if you file a claim within 60 days. So if we have a new scratch every week, I have to have a stranger come over every week to fix it? Makes no sense. Manager Eric at Living Spaces told me nothing he can do. Didn't answer why his employee lied to us about the material of the table. Absolutely horrible company. Will be filing complaints everywhere I can until someone can let me know why they lied to me, and can do something to fix this. read more

Had the worst experience I ever had with a company. Went in and ordered a sofa with an ottoman, the customer service placed an order with an arm chair instead of an ottoman. We found out 15 min after leaving the store so we went back. The lady helping us then said the ottoman was out of stock and we would not be able to purchase it until another date. We were disappointed because we wanted the ottoman but settle and said it's okay. She then said she would refund us for the incorrect item and said it would take 5 to 10 business days. Well it's been almost 20 business days and still no refund. When I called on the 10th day they said the refund was still processing, Now on the 20th day they said they gave us a refund on the same day we purchased the sofa. I checked my bank account and nothing. Now I'm out $860 for a mistake they did. And the worse part is the sofa we purchased was for a replacement from the sofa we purchased from them 3 months ago and broke down on us. living spaces is a scam, we bought a Custome order sectional, their delivery person broke a piece and did not tell us, we contacted them, and they send someone to order the part, when the part came it was the wrong part of the sectional, and they will not give us our money back or part of it. we bought the sectional in Nov and its now end of Feb and they're just trying to order another part and will only give us excuses. meantime we have a broken side of the sectional with the piece of wood sticking out. So, went to my local LivingSpaces and was in to buy a coffee table set. I found the set I was interested in and couldn't find a sales person. So I gently removed the sticky tab holding the price tag that had all the details. It wasn't a sticker, but a small piece of plastic holding the tabs placed under the tables. I gently removed them and went on my way to find a sales person... I walked all the way through the store in my hot pink scrubs, to and fro with my tags. Nobody seemed to be around to help so I went to the information desk kiosk. An older gentleman in a Livings Spaces polo shirt and a younger man asked me if they could help. I have the the details and said I didn't see a salesperson so I took the tags so we could run the sale. The older gentleman quickly said, " You better put those tags back where you found them!" I am at a loss for words. I nearly just dropped a $1000 in sales and I was just told I have to put the tags back we're I found them!!! Then these two guys got on their communicators to have a sales person help me.... Then walked away. Just wow... really wow!!! But when they were delivered to our home something didn't seem right the cushions sank in way to much and seemed like they were missing extra padding and the couch material was really loose. I went back to living spaces the day after I got the couches because I could have sworn they weren't that way when we purchased them and I was right... the in store couches where nothing like the brand new ones we had at home. And living spaces doesn't want anything to do with it. It's so frustrating and time consuming. Do not have the delivery drivers put together your products. I ordered a bed and they put it together in a rushed fashion as I was their last stop of the day at 9:00pm. A year later in the middle of a move (with movers) I find out that they stripped the screws threads and screw heads to the extend that we had to cut the screws to get the bed apart. I then "tried" to file a claim (just to get the screws we had to cut) and they denied me because I didn't go through proper protocol - stop my moving process and call customer service/claims department to notify them. All I need are screws and they can't accommodate that because I didn't call when I was in the middle of moving my house. Besides the installation, customer service in store and on the phone absolutely lack. It's as if they could care less if you shop at their store or not. read more

I have ordered many items from Living Spaces, but this time the daybed I ordered for my daughter's birthday was a disaster. I paid extra for a Friday delivery. They showed up at 4 brought in some of the pieces and then realized they were missing the back and slates for the main bed. They built the trundle and set up a new delivery for Saturday (the next day). I spoke with living spaces and I asked for a refund of the difference for the special Friday delivery. She said she was refunding the entire amount. Very nice of them. The Saturday delivery comes and done. Thursday morning we noticed the trundle frame was broken the wood was on the ground and split at both bolts. I call right way as it hasn't even been a week and that bed was used once! I completed the 1 year warranty claim online and send photos. They send an email and state it is not repairable. I call and ask what do we do now. She states that because we are within the 7 days of purchase they will replace the trundle. Great! Set up an appt for the Saturday wait all morning and they get here..... missing pieces and the bed can't be replaced that day. The delivery guys. All and the lady keeps telling them to just repair it! She doesn't understand that it's not repairable and they don't have the new frame piece to replace it. This took an hour or so to get it figured out. So she exchanges the entire bed and sets up deliver for Sunday. Bed came and delivery guys said it broke because the last delivery guys did not install it right.... This place is a mess. I called to check on that refund I was offered and told it was denied and they waived the Saturday delivery fee for me as a favor!! What in the actual heck?? Umm they didn't deliver the bed on the day I paid for. That made me angry and I asked for a manager because this bed is only a week old and now broken!! Finally they started the refund and sent a confirmation email at my request. After this I will NEVER purchase from living spaces again. read more

My sad saga with this store began when I got an email stating that I had $224 in credit to use towards a purchase. The credit came from extra protection I had purchased five years earlier on furniture and hadn't used. When I got to the store I was told that I had to spend twice that amount on my new purchase to use the credit. So, I bought a $350 TV stand and two $120 bar stools to reach the price I had to spend. In fact, I went over it. The salesman said that the TV stand would be delivered separately from the bar stools. They would be shipped directly from the vendor already assembled so imagine my surprise when they came unassembled. The stools were difficult to put together and two of the screws got stripped in the process. I had to go to Lowes and buy two more wood screws. I only managed to get one put in. Frustrated, I returned the stools for a refund. Meanwhile, the TV stand was delivered with paint/finish flaws on one door panel. A technician inspected it and said they would replace the door. However, the next day I got an email stating that the entire TV stand needed replacing so I could exchange or return it. I found more flaws on the pine TV stand and decided to exchange it for a more expensive one made out of a harder wood. I went into the store and said I wanted to exchange the TV stand for another one. I was told that I'd lose my original credit and I accepted that. I got upset though when I was told I had to pay a second $99 delivery fee. I was told over the phone by another customer service rep that the fee would be waived because the pine TV stand had to be picked up when the new one was delivered. However, the rep didn't put this waiver in their notes of our conversation so the rep at the store gave me a hard time. My ire was building at this point and I asked to speak to the manager. The manager comes over, reads all the previous notes on my account and starts questioning me about the bar stools! I explained to him about the screws stripping from the cheap allen wrench tool. He says I didn't put them in correctly and that's why they stripped! At this point, I was doing everything possible not to lose my temper and tell him off. Then he says I was just looking at your account to see if we could get you your original credit back, but management is picky about doing that. He did waive the second delivery fee and left. I got second thoughts about purchasing the other TV stand so I told the rep to cancel it and just refund my money. She said they would pick up the TV stand on Sunday. Sunday came, but Living Spaces didn't. I called and was told it hadn't been routed by the rep at the store. Figures! So, they arranged for a Monday pick up. I told them it had to be after 2 p.m. Early Monday morning, I find out that they're coming 11:24 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. I call at 7 a.m. and tell them the time won't work. I'm told all they can do is cancel it and I have to call back in 24 hours to schedule a new pick up! Unbelievable! So, I cancel it and hope I can get it picked up by Wednesday when my furniture from Ashley comes. (Yes, I went to Ashley and had a wonderful experience, but that's another review.) About 11:45 a.m. on Monday, I get a call while driving from the Living Spaces pick up people that they're at my house. What?!! I asked them if they could wait 10 minutes and I be home from my appointment. I rushed home because I was told that if they come and I miss the pick up, I'll be charged a $99 delivery fee. Ugh! I made it home in time. They picked up the cheaply made, defective TV stand and hopefully have exited my life forever! If you want good quality furniture with great service, go to Ashley. Most of my home is furnished with Ashley. And, as another plus, the sales people don't follow you around asking if you need help like at Living Spaces. They rotate sales people at the front door. They introduce themselves and say they can help you if you need it. Then they go out on the floor and leave you alone while you browse. The other sales people know that you've already been introduced to a sales person for assistance. They don't bother you unless you approach them for help and then they'll call over the sales person you first spoke to. read more

Delivery date was missed. Didn't call me until an hour before the end of delivery time. We already got rid of our table in preparation for the new one. Ten gave us a delivery date 2 days later only to get an email of a 2 week window. Called to figure out what was going on and they said they couldn't give me ANY delivery date. I ended up canceling the order because it's a week before Thanksgiving and I can't risk not having a table. Asked if they could offer any discount or accommodations on a different set if I were able to find one due to all the issues and they said there was nothing they could do. YES they do tell you that the exchange is to be done after 30 days of trying the mattress but when you realize its TOO FIRM and you CAN'T sleep on it I don't think they should make you wait 30 days to exchange it!! 03.01 We were in Murrieta visiting friends and loved their gigantor sofa from Livingspaces so hubs and I decided to check out the showroom. We didn't plan to purchase any furniture but came out with a brand new sectional. I was totally unprepared for the plethora of styles, colors and fabrics to choose from. The lady that helped us was very patient. I don't remember her name but she quickly directed us to the right pieces. She was so helpful matching swatches to ensure I pick the right material and shade of gray that will work with my current decor. I originally wanted the white cloud couch from RH. Only I was not about to spend 14k on something my kids will destroy in a short amount of time. So after showing her a pic of our living room we all brainstormed with different configs and perfect color to complete what I was envisioning for our living space. Fast forward to now... we are loving our new sectional, it's super low maintenance, fabric is super soft and stain/spill resistant. Best of all, it has more than enough space for a family of 6. My fave is the extra wide chaise, it's wider than a twin size bed... our new cuddle spot. We also chose firm cushions because we have small kids that love to jump on everything and want the couch to hold its structure for years. Usually it only takes 6 weeks to customize an order but Covid shutdown and restrictions delayed delivery from the end of April to July 10. Honestly this is my go to furniture store. I've bought my sectionals and dinning table from here and recently just updated my furniture and bought from living spaces. The two times I recently went I was helped out and was informed with the deliveries which were no additional costs. I was surprised at how quick my furniture was delivered properly. Our overall experience at this location was great! I had my eye on a specific couch on the Living Spaces website, and the Menifee was the closest location to me that had the couch on display in the showroom. My girlfriend and I made the drive down after work it was approx. 45 mins before they closed. We ended up finding the couch I was looking at in the showroom as well as looking at some others as well. The young lady that helped us out was great she provided us with a set of different colors and patterns we could choose from on our couch. We ended up finding the perfect color and configuration for the couch. Because the Labor Day special was still going on we were able to get approved for 24 month no interest payments. We did not plan on purchasing anything when we walked in but ended up leaving with a couch and very nice coffee table. Granted we did end up spending more than we initially had intended but the experience was just very nice overall I would love to shop here again. We can't wait for our couch to arrive and we really appreciate the team (specifically Holly!) helping us out especially before closing time! read more
