Please do not buy things from living spaces. I purchased a table that was described as solid hard wood. However, lots of part materials are just made by paticle board. I have waited 3 month for the item to be picked up for return, and have not received the money back. The delivery process was horrible too. Its a 166 lbs table, but the living spaces just sent one old guy to my house. I had to take the risk helping the guy to move the table from the second floor to the truck. Untrustworthy, I'd give this store 0 starts if I could. We bought a dining table and a couch from this location spending roughly $5k total. The sales people are nice and genuinely helpful. Unfortunately, the issue we had is with the ottoman we purchased. When we saw the ottoman in the showroom, we noticed that it wasn't the same height as the couch seat. We specifically told the sales person, Pablo, that we didn't want the ottoman if it wasn't the same height as the couch cushion seats. He scoffed at the notion and replied "It doesn't make sense if the ottoman is a different height. This must be a defect." At that point he called a manager over and he notated in our account that the ottoman "has to be 20 inches". I've attached a picture of the note for reference. The note from the manager can be seen above the words "Order Summary" on our receipt. For months, we went into the store, called, and emailed requesting a return since the ottoman didn't meet the 20 inch height agreed upon. The end result was neither Living Spaces corporate nor Living Spaces Summerlin taking responsibility for selling us an ottoman that was not up to the agreed upon specification. Ultimately, the store sent us an email suggesting that on our own, we either raise the height of the ottoman or take a $100 gift certificate for the inconvenience. It is impossible to call the store because there is no direct number. You are instead directed to call corporate Living Spaces who denied us any support and in turn blamed the Rampart store. We bought the extended warranty that is supposed to cover rips and tears, but we were told that the poor manufacturing and the seams coming apart was not covered by the warranty. The Dean King Bed said it was in stock yet wouldn't be delivered until June 6 - over 5 weeks later. I called customer service and was told there was nothing they could do. We went to the Summerlin store to see if they had one "as is" so we could purchase it sooner. When we walked inside, the staff greeted us and all were very friendly. Janasia & Nora helped us as we exchanged the bed we ordered the night before to a different one that would arrive next week. 3 days later we received a fabulous Topanga King Bed! We had our delivery scheduled for 8:00am-3:00pm. We received several notifications updating their arrival time. Tony and Melvin arrived at 10:45am and took less than 30 minutes to set up! I have furnished +4 homes with Living Spaces but last purchase of 4 dining room chairs was a nightmare of customer service. The store experience was ok but once you are not happy with something and trying to get replacements their customer service falls apart. Rude customer service manager from a call center just going by a rule book and they will not give you their full name which means they are not really LS employees. These chairs is part of their nate and jeremiah collection which looks great on the show room floor but not when they arrive at your house. Living Spaces is a great place to find good quality furniture at a reasonable price. The Summerlin location is large (like all LS's) and has a great selection of just about anything you'd need for your home. I find that the sales associates are all really helpful and since they don't work on commission, they don't pounce on you and follow you around the store. I appreciate the space they give you to just work your way through each section and seem to appear right when you have a question about anything. I recently purchased 2 sectional sofas, a dining room table, bed and 2 nightstands. Some things were available right away, the special order had a 3-4 week delivery and the nightstands 4-5 weeks. Everything arrived right when promised. The delivery crew was great. We had a small issue with both sofas, but even that has been great so far. I took a photo, emailed it to them and they already have a crew scheduled to come repair (if they can) or replace the item. I'd also like to call out Q (sales associate). Q knows her stuff. She was even training a new hire while she took my custom sectional sofa order (a little complicated) and was doing a great job. I'd also like to say thank you to Nora in customer service. She is really helpful and friendly. I feel like this location is managed well. The team is well trained, friendly, knows the product well (considering how much they sell). It's not a pressure kind of vibe when asked if you need help - it seems genuine. We bought about $4k worth of new furniture from here and had it delivered. The absolute worst furniture experience ever! The intial pieces that arrived were incorrect, chair was misrepresented in color and ottoman was another customers piece. It took 8 weeks and then I had to waste another half-day only to receive defective pieces that were poorly constructed, with asymmetrical cushions and bad stitching. The fabric is so cheaply made that it has multiple snags that look like holes and dark patches on the chair that looks like oily stains. Living Spaces won't refund my money after all this inconvenience and actually had a furniture repair company contact me. This is after spending $1221 on a chair and ottoman that was purchased in December 2024. I received a letter stating to donate the ottoman because of the severe defects and to call and order another one which would've had another 6-8 week lead time for it to be made. If you're thinking why haven't I disputed this, with my cc company and I have! Looks like it's going to be a small claims court issue at this point. Had an extremely disappointing and upsetting experience in-store today after maybe an hour and a half discussing options with the salesperson, we finally landed on a few pieces of furniture we wanted to purchase, then we saw a couch set we liked went on to check it out we gave it some thought about buying everything equalling to an amount of over $6000 with the couch we saw a chair that was advertised as AS IS with a lower price and the tag stating the name of the piece "with tray" which was a nice wooden tray that came with the chair, i told the salesperson i would like to add this chair to my purchase and then she went on to say she wasnt sure if it came with the tray (the biggest reason we wanted the chair) a heavier set nerd looking guy that looked like the guy who stole woody and a really rude hispanic lady by the name of Yolanda came by and said that the chair did not come with the tray and i pointed out that the tray was part of the chair it says on the tag as is "with tray" and they suggested i buy a tray off amazon and said if i wanted the tray that i could buy the chair brand new for $900 clearly challenging my intelligence and treating us like we are asking them to borrow from their paycheck, at the end Yolanda the "GM" offered a blatant disrespectful 5% off my purchase without the chair, and walked off without acknowledging us any further in a "get them out of here manner" and went on to chat with her co-workers. I would never recommend buying anything from LS. I received a tv fireplace stand from them 3 weeks past the original delivery date. It had a misaligned door hinge which they sent out a repair man to fix. It was also severely scratched and had missing paint in small detailed areas. I asked the repairman to touch it up but he declined because he was only authorized to fix the door/scratched paint from the misalignment. We settled on a 30% discount only to find out it was also missing a middle support leg. Customer service never followed up with me about it hence the reason I'm venting on yelp. I give up. They obviously could care less about delivering what they display in their store. Buyer beware. You may receive a product "as is" with scratches and missing pieces. Lessons learned. Living Spaces losses all business from anyone in my circle. Completely disappointed. Don't end up like me. Zero stars if that were an option. The "yelp" follow-up is a poor attempt. Buyer beware. They lie, a lot. We had the most unpleasant experience here. One of the lies was about their "warranty". Buy the warranty we were told. You will get your money back after five years if you don't use it. Turns out after reading the fine print that you don't actually get your money back. You get a store credit, so it's just a way to get you back in the door. Nobody knows what anyone else in the company is doing. There isn't anyone to call for any reason whatsoever. They don't publish any phone numbers. Also, they even tell you NOT to call customer service because you "will get a non native English speaking person in a chicken coop somewhere overseas that will have no clue". We asked four different people the same question and got four different answers. The standard response from them will be "we will let management know about your concerns". I'm pretty sure that since this is the same response all the other people have received that "management " already knows and that they don't give a rip. We walked the showroom together and picked a couple things. Halfway through the showroom, I informed her that I would like to match the theme of my barstools with the living room sofa set we picked. I kindly asked her if we can put one barstool next to the sofa, which was in the front of the store. She said yes but just stood there expecting me to carry. purchased a 5-year protection plan for my couch, trusting that normal wear and tear including everyday stains would be covered. When I contacted Living Spaces the first time about stains, they sent someone out to clean it without issue. Eight months later, the exact same problem happened again. But this time, they told me the stains aren't covered, even though it's the same type of damage. How is that fair? If the issue was covered once, how can it be denied now under the same plan? I've been given multiple excuses and false timelines, but the bottom line is --I paid for furniture that I still don't have! After years of avoiding this place - I fell for it again after needing a "reasonably priced" bedroom set for my child. It's now been 4 weeks since Living spaces first made delivery. They brought damaged pieces, took them back. Brought back more pieces and left other critical pieces (like the legs to the bed) in the warehouse. We are still unable to use furniture we paid for a month ago because of missing parts. I have tried to call many times and reschedule. They canceled the last delivery yesterday without telling me while we were sitting home from work waiting for them like chumps. Zero care. Zero urgency. Zero customer service. To add insult to injury- I wanted to return one of the items, so I asked them to take it back on one of their many trips to my house. They said NO. They said they would only take it for a $59 fee AND they refused to waive the 10% restocking fee because again - Living Spaces knows nothing about customer service and only cares about swiping your card to hawk their cheap, China made garbage. It's upsetting when you spend your hard earned money on a piece of furniture. That's supposed to last you close to a lifetime. And you get crappy Cheap fabric. It seems to me this has been a lot of the experience with a lot of people who have gotten furniture from living spaces. It's such a waste of your money. They love to walk you all around the showroom floor and pitch you the sales just to sell you something crappy, so they can make commission. And then sell you a $200 and something dollar warranty that doesn't even cover any of the damages or issues that you have with your sofa, I bought a loveseat sleeper sofa for close to $2000 in 2021 and by the second year. It was already ripping and bursting at the seems I could tell that the fabric that was used was not very sturdy. It just seems very cheap and then to add insult to injury. The bottom of my sofa was stained due to a waterline break in my home. I was told that the insurance would cover this issue and guess what no luck with the insurance!!! filed a claim every year for three years, and they kept on denying every single claim that I made. It is such a waste of money. It's so disappointing in dishardening. And for living spaces to act as if they don't care is the absolute worst form of customer service I've ever experienced. I called living spaces directly to speak to them about the issues I was having with the warranty, and they just kept referring me back to the warranty service, who completely refuses to cover any of the damages that happened to my sofa. I want to preface this review with I've ordered a lot of furniture from living spaces over the years and never had any issues. Look me up, somehow I have four different accounts. This store is abysmal. Do not buy from them. Story time... The furniture was ordered on August 27th (SO-013296572) via the store floor. I ordered the king platform bed and dresser from the Lars collection. I guess the kid on the floor was in too much of a rush to get his commission to enter in the correct data. The date of delivery was August 30th. Great, I only had to wait a few days! Wrong. The dresser delivery was fine. However, they delivered a california king platform bed instead, and wouldn't disassemble the bed on the spot once the issue was noticed and take it back due to internal processes. After talking with living spaces we get an exchange worked out for the correct platform bed size. The exchange will supposedly take place on September 23rd. So I've been sleeping on a lopsided bed for a few weeks now due to the mismatch in platform bed width. The date of the exchange comes and the delivery folks only have an order for an RMA (RMA-001337348_09230806), not the full exchange. We contact living spaces once again and they state the new bed didn't make it on the track and it will be another couple of days before delivery. So here I am a month later after ordering, no bed, and they have my money. No compensation has been provided for wasting my time, and at this point the platform bed should be free. Lets see if the bed actually shows up in a few days as stated. Do not order from this store as they're completely incompetent. I want to note that the delivery teams have been fantastic and helpful. This is all on living spaces. Update 2024/09/25 - The platform bed was supposed to be delivered today. Got a call from living spaces this morning stating that the foot board was not on the truck, so they were about to deliver half a bed. I wish that I had looked on yelp before I purchased a sofa from Living Spaces. I had no idea this company treated people so poorly. If I had read the reviews first, I would not be in this situation. I am only writing this to save others from the grief and expense that I experienced. Here's my story: I bought a sofa and didn't care for it. The cushions were poorly made and were not sitting properly on the sofa. I decided to return it and that's where the problems began. There is a 10% restocking fee which was NEVER mentioned. I decided, rather than losing $450 ($350 plus delivery of $99) to purchase another sofa. I found another one that I liked, but wanted a different color ($6000). This required a custom order which they said would take 2 to 4 weeks. It was 4pm. As the sales person handed me the receipt to sign, I was told I only had until 8pm to change my mind. This is where I say they are ruthless. They are like car salesman. They wait until the last minute (if they tell you at all) about any conditions or fees. He didn't mention that there would be a 25% fee for cancellation. He (Aiden) said I would have to email not call because the call went to a call center and would not get to them in time. When I got home and saw the date for delivery was 4 to 6 weeks (not 2 to 4), I decided I would take the color in stock. I emailed (several times), but the email would not go through so I got up early and went to the store. Yolanda (the manager) immediately said there would be a 25% fee ($1500) to change the order. This women does not have a kind bone in her body. She refused to allow me to make a change. I called corporate (spoke with many people) and was told that only Yolanda (the manager) could make a change. She flat out refused. Please do not shop here. These people are the WORST. This corporate policy of charging 10% for returns is extreme and not giving you at least 24 hours to change your mind on a custom order (or pay 25%) is insane. Welcome to corporate America. All they see is money and customer service is NONEXISTENT. I have no idea how these places stay in business. I know I'll never purchase another item from this store and I hope you (who's reading this) do not either. They are snakes. They don't care about you. All they see when you walk through the door is DOLLARS and they will squeeze you for every dime they can. BEWARE!! If you're going to shop at Living Spaces I suggest you don't. I never had a problem with their items until this recent purchase. I bought 2 XL twin beds and unfortunately one of them needed to be exchanged. I did the exchange today and there are zero returns. And exchanges for a mattress costs an additional fee of $200. Then there's a delivery fee that goes from $19, $59, $79 to $200. I have no idea what the actual price is because it kept changing every time I talked to a different person. Today for I had to pay an extra $900 for another mattress and an additional $200 for a restock fee totally over $1200+. Yikes is all I have to say about this. This policy isn't very customer friendly and the total price for a XL mattress is totally ludicrous. Total price for 1 mattress ended up being $2,500 and that's not including tax. This is the very last time I come to Living Spaces because this is a complete and total rip off. Next time I will buy a mattress online or at Mattress Firm but never again at Living Spaces. We were told they were out of stock on one of the items we wanted, but Richard absolutely assured us that the product had NOT been discontinued and it would only result in a 3 - 4 week delay. I pushed Richard on this as I had no desire to buy one of the pieces only to realize I couldn't get the other - he absolutely assured me that it had not been discontinued (said he checked with multiple people) - he lied. I had an amazing experience with Kaci in the Summerlin showroom where I found a couch that fit in my space and that I loved. My problem with Living Spaces comes down to how a $700 million company cannot keep track of their own inventory to save their life. I bought the couch I loved in mid February. Earlier this week, the week I was supposed to get my couch delivered, I received an email about my couch being lost prior to shipment and a new couch would not be available until April. I checked the Summerlin location and found that the couch I wanted was in stock, so naturally I called the customer service line and requested a couch be delivered for my local Living Spaces set for March 10th, two days after my original delivery date. On March 8th, the day of my original delivery date, I received a phone call from Living Spaces saying that there was an error in their system and I would again not get a couch until sometime in April. Naturally, I was absolutely furious but my problem is with how a multiple million dollars business that sells items every day of its existence has this much of a problem keeping track of its inventory. I have been shopping for a couch for 4 months prior to buying this couch-and now I have to start again. I would love to take my business somewhere else but it takes 7-10 business days to refund my money and my timeline doesn't have room for that nuance.
