I had high hopes for living spaces, as our initial interaction and purchase of our potential couch was a positive one. However, after we looked at the couch and were told they had 10 in stock at their location we decided to purchase it and were told it would be delivered a week from our purchase date. They gave us a receipt and everything with the delivery date and window. Our delivery date rolls around and we have not received a single email, text, or call and the delivery truck never arrived. We then call the number given on our receipt. After about 20 minutes of being put on hold, we get through to their customer service and we are told that the couch didn't pass quality control. This would have been nice to have been contacted about considering we were literally waiting for the couch to be delivered. We received no email letting us know the couch was not going to be delivered nor that it was put on backorder. We were then told to check back in 2 weeks to see if the couch was back in stock to reschedule its delivery. Why do we have to check back in? If we already purchased it, should they not call US back to let us know? This is pretty disappointing considering that the sales rep assured us that there were 10 in stock and now we are expected to check back for a couch weeks after we already paid $1,200 for and have a new apartment with no couch. We decided to get a refund. Will not be shopping here again. read more

We bought a loveseat, a chair and an ottoman at living spaces. We loved the design. We still do! Now the bad news: We got the furniture 3 month ago and the foam is already so deflated that the frame is cutting my blood circulation off sitting on the chair. The fabric on the loveseat wrinkles now since there is nothing underneath. We called the company and send them pictures. They send a technician who took pictures again but never sat on the furniture. 2 days later we get the call telling us nothing is wrong according to the technician and it is our problem that we do not like soft cushions. Soft cushions? We did not complain about those. Cutting off my blood circulation with bad craftsmanship is our problem. What a shame. read more

Horrible customer service. We bought a battery pack for a reclining sofa that would otherwise have required draping a cord across the living room floor. The battery pack did not come with a charger. It is dead now and we have been on the phone 9 times over 5 days with what is euphemistically called Customer Service. Today was the worst. After getting our claim denied for a battery charger we are still trying to figure out how to salvage our dead battery pack. No one knows what they are doing and that's probably because they are doing nothing! The "Customer Service" person today would not let me say anything because she was "trying to do some research to help" although she admitted she had no idea of what was supposed to come with the battery pack. I'm absolutely disappointed in my experience and needless to say I will NEVER do business at living space and will make sure my family & friends wouldn't either so they don't have to go through what I did. I do want to really thank the agent that helped us our second time shopped their "Chris". He was extremely pleasant and did his very best to help us. First day we were shopping they were trying to rush us out before the store closed, but still trying to make their sale so we were told that if didn't like the couch or if it didn't fit, we can do a return exchange. Then when the couch was delivered we paid $99 for delivery and the delivery guys couldn't take it up the stairs since the space was narrow, so although we paid for delivery we had to get he couch in ourself. On top of that the measurement didn't fit our home so when we went to do return exchange we were told that we had to pay 10% restock fee and an additional $99 for delivery. We bought 14K in furniture here. The couch was leather and after a few months of use the cushions are all flat and will not hold original shape. In addition we recently canceled an order after a deliver wasn't made and we could not get them to refund the amount to our card. We finally disputed the charge with our card company. These guys sell inferior products and practice shady business practices. They claim they don't work on commission but they are like flies from the time you enter the store. read more

I was misled when I purchased the furniture from this store. We bought a set a few weeks ago and had to await for all of it to be in stock. No Problem. My wife and I specifically asked the first associate "It's everything here for this price correct?" to which he replied "yes sir." I asked again "This is including the bar stools yes... everything here?" as I was in shock cause it was such a great deal... he again assures me that the deal and the pieces were all correct. I said that's a great deal and we purchased it and their Carefree coverage also. That was all fine and I thought it was a great deal. Color me impressed... well it was short lived. I came back the day the order I placed was delivered (4-26-21), explained to the store associate what had happened and she brought the "Manager" to me. I explained the same thing to him and he placated me with typical sales speak. as opposed to making good on his stores misleading information regarding my purchase he offers a pittance discount and dismisses the entire scenario. If I committed to purchasing $2775 worth of furniture and I did not get all of my furniture because the sales associate that sold it to me was not trained well enough to know the inventory or what it does or does not come with the store or its Manager should have made that right... and not with some measly discount. I wound up having to spend an additional $1000+ for the furniture I was told I was getting from the very beginning! Had I not it would have been half of a table with only half the chairs on 1 side! Who would buy half of a table??? It was my first and definitely my last time ever shopping in this store. the onsite Manager at store #18 made absolutely no effort in making this right past his SOP for dealing with these kinds of situations and it was a waste of time and quite frankly insulting. I am Never coming back here. I will go out of my way and spend 2 times the money for something I want anywhere else. The young lady that was helping me was fine and she was polite and understanding which I appreciate but if there indeed was not a higher Manager above the one that came to me... which I find highly unlikely... then the current store manger that assisted me is a testament to the ghost town of a store my wife and I were in. My entire experience was awful from my 2nd time in that store on. I have plenty of money to spend and I had to walk with floor model furniture because they could not get my order right to begin with and as opposed to having the furniture I was told I was getting from the inception of this ridiculousness I would either have to settle for the insulting discount that was thrown at my feet or wait a month plus for the furniture I was told I had already paid for to maybe arrive... BAD EXPERIENCES!!! (PLURAL) PRO: 1. After 2 months, the bed's headboard has a big crack. Which is not a pro but I contacted Living Spaces, sent in a claim as requested to which they promptly replied and offered a "reselection" because the item is no longer available. "Reselection" is basically a trade for a different item. "Reselection" is good for 30 days only. RESPONSE WAS VERY FAST! CONS: 1. No refund...I must select something there. This is for a bed which was purchased on 3/18 and delivered around 3/26/2018. (They are forcing you to buy from them only.) ARE YOU SO DESPERATE FOR THE SALE THAT YOU SACRIFICE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ETHICS (THE HEADBOARD WAS FABRICATED FROM POOR GRADE MATERIAL? 2. When they make the delivery of the "reselected" bed, they will not take the damaged bed with them. I must make arrangements to have the bed removed at my own expense. WHAT HAPPENED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE? 3. All telephone calls go to a call center...all Los Angeles, Arizona and Las Vegas stores have the same telephone number. WHY DO YOU NOT HAVE INDIVIDUAL STORE NUMBERS LISTED? 4. I called the listed phone number again and could not get a clear answer where I called other than it is a call center. Bought an outdoor umbrella, and it has only been a few days that it has been on my backyard. It broke!! I called up the company and complained about the product which is obviously a poor quality umbrella which I paid $99 and even had to wait for a month before it became available. I ordered a sectional mid November I was spoke with Christina and placed my order. Got it all set up for delivery a week later. Christina said " it would be coming from their California warehouse so no problems with being a Saturday delivery " I got a call on Wednesday before delivery saying it was going to be delayed. Please give them a call back. No number was left to return call and it showed up on cell as unknown caller. Called on the following Monday was on hold for 45 minutes. Finally someone picked and helped me. She looked into the order. Long story short. When we purchased our couch set and an entertainment system there was one piece that was back ordered. Today I called Living Spaces to find out if they had an ETA on the piece that was out of stock. I was told that there were actually four pieces on the initial order that were backordered opposed to the one piece that I was told. Obviously this made me really upset and I requested for the store manager at living Spaces to call me. I received a phone call but it wasn't from the manager but a cashier. What kind of store has a cashier call an upset customer when it should be the manager's job? According to the cashier everything is currently in stock except one piece but, it's not the piece that was initially back ordered. We were hesitant to schedule a delivery because we wanted everything done at one time but since we have no clue when that's going to happen we are having the pieces they have in stock delivered and they will come back out and add the back ordered piece at a later time. When asked when that piece would be back in stock she said she didn't know and would have to check with purchasing. Now we are waiting on that call. I'm not a fan of a country meant that sends an hourly employee to handle the mess. Shame on them!!! read more

This place is the absolute worst business I have ever dealt with. First off - don't be fooled by how nice the actual store is, it is very spacious and their pieces are very nice. I enjoyed being in there before I actually became a customer and had to deal with them. Post-sale this place is an absolute nightmare. I ordered a bed-frame, mattress and a storage bench for my bedroom. I was told the bench is on back-order but I could receive the mattress and frame within a few days. This came as scheduled, the delivery guys who assembled my stuff let me know that I would actually need another piece to be able to sleep on it, as the king bed requires 2 boxes underneath and the sales associate sold me one. No big deal in all honestly, we all make mistakes but this was the beginning of the nightmare. I got my other piece a few days later, so I couldn't sleep in the bed when planned but I can deal with that. I was also told that since my bench was backordered, I would be able to add items onto that order for free shipping (I paid shipping on the matress and frame previously). I came in and ordered a sectional couch, I was told if I bought the modeled one, I'd be able to have it in three days. Apparently after the order they either lied or massively screwed up and my couch wont be ready. Three weeks later, Living Spaces has called me and my girlfriend around 15-20 (no exxageration) times, I have spent 20+ minutes on the phone with them four times explaining that I only want my bench to be delivered when my couch is ready to avoid having to pay their $100 shipping fee, spoken to probably dozens of different callcenter employees explaining this - yet they still call me every day to schedule a delivery of the bench when my couch is not ready. I recently called them back to ask if the couch was now ready, they said that somehow my order got cancelled (I 100% did not do anything that could have possibly done this, I paid 1/3 the price that day in the store!) and now they are unable to put together my bench and couch for delivery. The store is very nice and the employees are friendly, but they are either clueless or in the dark about how their business actually runs. This place is an absolute nightmare. I feel like I am floating in the abyss here without any idea what to do. I'm so disappointed in the quality of furniture they are selling . The 1 year manufacturers warranty is a joke ! After just 3 months of having our counter high table the wood started to splinter . I went to the store and explained what happen and they said call and make a warranty claim that shouldn't of happened in such a short time . After making a claim and sending them photos of the damage the representative said I will get a call back within 48hours . On the 5th day I had to call and check up . The representative apologized and said they were really behind on claims . She then reviewed my claim and the photos and said ok that will be 99.00 to send and inspector out to confirm it's a manufacturers defect . So they want me to pay to confirm it's a defective table ?!?? Plus labor to replace a table under manufacturers warranty?!?!? If I could give less then a one star I would. I have purchased a sectional from living spaces about 6 months ago and I have had nothing but problems with them. Let's start with their customer service... the worst. They do not help at all, they lie saying they will call back with updates and never do. And when they get annoyed by you they just disconnect you. The first problem with my sectional was they forgot all my electrical parts. Took another two weeks for them to deliver those pieces. Second, my child when to plug in a usb plug into the outlet on the couch and it shocked her with sparks. That took another run around with their customer service. Then I had to call because the mechanism of one of the recliner stopped working. Took another 2 months for them to send someone out and I am still waiting for that part to come in. It's been 18 weeks now. I have called everyday for 10 weeks to speak to someone in their corporate office and still no call backs. This is by far the worst company ever. And I will never be purchasing from them again and will Make sure anyone I come into contact with will never purchase from them. Now I have a 4K sectional that no one can use or sit on because we are still waiting on the mechanism which now is in a different country according to a sales person. Their training in sales is just down right horrible. It's hard to believe they are a big company. You take your money and give you crap product. And they refuse to help or fix or even call back a paying customer. My next step is to call our location news station so everyone in the Las Vegas area knows how horrible this company is. It was our first time at living spaces in nevada and I must say since we walked into the store the experience was great. Everyone was soo welcoming and not pressuring us to buy anything. My family and I we super happy with Nadine who took the time to talk to us and give us different options on couches we were looking for . Went in to living spaces to buy a couch and a dining set. I greeted promptly and offered assistance rather quick. First thing that the greeter told me was that the sales people don't work on commission so anyone can help us. First a gentleman helped me and I found a few options I liked he wasn't pushy at all but then he left and a woman started assisting me. She was more pushy towards pieces and it almost felt like she was rushing me. Another irritating factor of her interaction was that she kept on running numbers and sales with other associates (they don't work on commission but trust me I realized that the store exceeded the sales goal and maybe even the credit card enrolment goals the store has for the day) as exciting as it is don't do it in front of your customers its tacky and uncomfortable. I selected the items I wanted and she mentioned that the ottoman I had selected wasn't in stock but I could have it within 5-6 weeks not too terrible I thought. Anyway long story short ottoman wont be here till end of August/September saw it on my receipt after I left I choose not to complain about it and just wait the extremely long wait. When my items were delivered I knew that it was a drop off indoors and go style, I had selected this but was never told my entire dining set came in a BOX and needed to be assembled.. trust me I would have paid extra to not deal with this mess while moving. the last straw was when unpacking my new couch I found rips in it and called customer service opened the claim sent the pictures and they cant fix it till JULY.. its May.. I asked for them to pick up the couch cancel the ottoman.. my experience wasn't awful but it definitely not what I expected from Living Spaces. the customer service is lacking for lack of a better word read more

We bought our couch exactly 2 years ago from Living Spaces and already the couch is worn down and looks about 10 yrs old and we don't even have kids in the house. All the cushions are flat and slope forward, they cannot not be refluffed to maintain any type of shape and are now uncomfortable and there are tears in the seams. I called Living Spaces to tell them of my concerns and the manager said I had a 5 yr warranty on the couch. Great I thought. So I filed a claim and within 1 hour got a response that said that this was normal wear and tear and my claim was denied. It's only been 2 years and they think this is normal wear and tear for a couch? For the money I spent on this couch it should last longer than this. I disputed that claim denial and never heard back from them so I called LS back. They basically said it is out of their hands and that I would need to go through the warranty company, which by the way is worthless and not helpful at all. I finally spoke with someone at the warranty place and they also stated it was out of their hands because they don't cover "normal wear and tear" and she referred me back to LS. You get the total run around and not one person I talked to even cared that the product is terrible. Their only response from both was that it was out of their hands. This was my first time shopping here. Nice furniture and reasonable prices does not take the place of customer service which was non-existent. The only friendly person who asked if they could help me find something and also asked if I found what I was looking for when I was leaving was the person taking your temperature at the door. There was 2-3 sales unprofessionals at the front desk when I walked in. I walked around for almost 20 minutes and not one person walked over to asked me if I needed help with anything. Another sales unprofessional greeted me with a what's up buddy and walked past me to greet the couple walking behind me to see if he could help them. When my furniture arrived, they delivered two love seats. In Dec. The fabric on my sofa wore so thin two holes developed. I started a claim with their company immediately. It is now almost almost April and they still have not resolved my issue. Every time I call, they tell me a part is coming or someone will call me. Its hard to believe a company treats their customers this way. When I told the customer service agent from corporate that I wanted the sofa exchanged instead of fixed because I don't trust the integrity of the coach, she told me well, you don't get what you want. I would be hesitant to buy ANYTHING from here!! My husband and I purchased a very expensive couch, 2 chairs an ottoman and a standing lamp from here. Right after they took the chairs off the truck, I noticed that the legs on one of them were uneven and the chair rocked. I asked them to take it back and bring me another one. They wouldn't. Said I had to "make a claim". So when I called, they weren't much help either. They would not exchange it, wouldn't return it either. Nice pieces of furniture. However, my last two times of going in this store was very unpleasant when it comes to their customer service. First, I've been there a few years ago when they first opened to shop for wall décor to go over a fireplace. They have no measurements on them. When I made a suggestion to Ben, (not a people person, wrong occupation) the manager, that he try to put the sizes on most of the artwork so his customers can see them, he just suggested that I look for someone to get these measurements of any artwork I was interested in (what a hassle!) Secondly, the last few visits, I was looking for coffee and an end table. A salesperson named Joshlyn had assisted me before as a pleasant experience when I looked for a sofa, so I asked for her again. As I spoke with her to find out if I could get a lower price on the pieces that I was interested in, she told me that LS would not go lower on their prices. I thanked her and proceeded to leave. As I was leaving, Joshlyn felt compelled to round up her coworkers to inform them of how much of a bargain hunter I was, as I walked up on her and asked her for a picture and dimensions of the tables that I was interested in, then left. The third and FINAL time. Joshlyn spotted me looking at some furniture today and she didn't bother about saying "hello" or "welcome". As a matter of fact, she looked at me and pretended like she didn't know me. She just pointed me out to another coworker and her coworker said hello. Again, just because I bargain hunt and try to negotiate prices on items, I shouldn't be made to feel uncomfortable when I walk into a store, at anytime! The sales woman who helped us pick out a couch last weekend was fantastic, however, the customer service post-sale is terrible. The store scheduled our delivery for Tuesday morning. We called and asked if we could move the delivery to a different day or time slot because we could not get off work. The woman who "helped" with this request was rude and incompetent. She kept repeating that we would be charged 10% if we were not there to receive the couch. She gave this response like a robot, even if our question was completely different or unrelated. If the store is unable to accommodate our request for whatever reason, I guess that's our problem, but the lack of respect/connection was really frustrating. After you drop $2,000, it would be nice to get someone on the phone who is willing to discuss your concerns. I'd like to add that they delivered the couch today and caused substantial damage to our home. read more

We went to this store back a few months ago and were impressed by the cleanliness and spaciousness of the store. We had a list of items we wanted to look at. The sales people seem to be really helpful and nice. However, it seemed every sofa and recliner I liked was the last one or a floor sample. read more
