We ordered a couch to be delivered and placed the order in store, when we received the couch it only came with 4 out of the 6 legs needed to assemble the couch, so we called and they said they'd ship the rest of the legs no problem! They were supposed to come over the weekend and of course nothing was delivered and there was no tracking number. We called AGAIN and they don't know what happened. Just clueless. What a KISS OFF Do you really think anyone would care? Is there a Store Manager who may consider this at the very least a training opportunity? This phone number is their service center. When I asked for the phone number to the Irvine, CA Store Manager, I was told "there is no direct line to the store" I couldn't find one sales person to help me. My wife and I made it through the bedroom area, found ann item that was acceptable and then made it all the way back to the Customer Service desk where I asked if this was a self service store?A young man got up and then asked a younger female sales person to help but after she was told what I needed, the item in need was not in her area. I will never again shop at Living Spaces. I bought a bed frame, adjustable bed along with a mattress from them 2 years ago. The mattress does not work on the adjustable bed the way it should, never has. Recently spoke with an individual who worked in the mattress industry for several years and he told me they sold me the wrong mattress. Went to speak with them today asking ng for some help. I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Living Spaces in Vista, CA. I ordered four chairs but the entire process has been a nightmare from start to finish. I called on the same delivery day to exchange the chairs for a set that included a table. Each time I called, I was given a different explanation. The agreement was that they would swap out the chairs when delivering the other set. They never mentioned a "pick-up charge." I was already charged $139 for delivery for chairs that cost only a little more, and now they want to charge an additional $59 pick-up fee plus a restocking fee even though they are already coming to make a delivery. To make matters worse, the customer service was completely unhelpful. They were rude and dismissive, and it took several more calls to find out that they wouldn't budge, not even the store manager. They acted like robots reading from a script. It's not about the $59 for the pick up fee; it's the principle! Overall, this has been a frustrating and disappointing experience. I expected much better service and quality from Living Spaces. I would not recommend this store to anyone and will definitely be taking my business elsewhere in the future. A few years ago, a friend told me about the horrible experience she had with Living Spaces. She was charged for a sofa that was never delivered and she said they wouldn't budge. She ended up paying for it to avoid affecting her credit. Now I certainly believe her! I'm sure some of you reading this must have also had terrible experiences with them as well. They will not cover claims saying it is normal wear and tear and the Living Spaces Manager will side with them and do nothing for you. Apparently when you purchase a 5 year insurance, as the years past they won't repair things as they claim "it is expected". Two stars since we've generally liked the furniture and quality. That's about where the enjoyment ends. Currently enjoying the absence of a light fixture that was destroyed in the delivery of our new sofa. The delivery workers are clearly incentivized on doing everything as fast as humanly possible, which means eliminating the need to pay attention to the home. No apology, no nothing, just a "call the number and they'll take care of it..." as they rushed to get out and onto the next appointment I assume. Then I had the pleasure of speaking with a customer service person who was clearly having a pretty bad day of her own to ask what the resolution for a situation like this would be. She had no answers and said they'd be sending an email for me to upload photos and that someone would be in touch within a week. Good times. Sadly, we've bought a lot from Living Spaces over the last 10 years or so. But I don't see us doing business with them any longer. Went in on a Saturday, and our new couch was delivered the very next day, in perfect condition and exactly as expected. Jordan helped us out and showed us a bunch of great options that fit our needs. They were super knowledgeable about the different couches available and any customization options available. Living spaces however disappointed me by telling me they would have my sectional delivered December 18. About a month ago, I purchased 2 beds from this store and the associate was bragging about how fast living spaces deliver and that her mother ordered the same mattress and got it in a week and a half, it's been a month and all I heard from the customer service team is that the order is not ready yet, and they have no way to contact the manufacturer of when it will be ready. I had a mattress, box spring and panel bed delivered on 9/2 at 5pm. By the time I got bed and frame up to my sons room, and set up, it was after 7. Once looking at it, it had two big sags down both sides and my son said it hurt for him to lay on it. I called store once they opened the next morning and after about an hour, I got someone live. They had to speak with a supervisor and then informed me that she was told they don't do returns or exchanges on bedding. Order a dining set worth $2644 out the door with delivery and care free package last night 05/14/25 at 8:45 PM from Vista location, today morning 9AM 05/15 called them to reschedule the delivery and I got to know that they have a rescheduling fee of $120. Never ever in my life i paid a rescheduling fee for any order. To that note I said please cancel the order. This evening called again to see if its been cancelled i found out they been working internally to get the order cancelled, when asked for a confirmation # they said they can not provide that as its internal. Also came to know on the same call I will be charged a restocking fee of $200 some dollars as i cancelled the order. the delivery window cancellation is 48 hours, but how do I even meet this criteria when I ordered the set yesterday night. I did not even waited for one extra business hour to report my changes. Calling the 877-266-7300 to land some place who can help but they taught their associates well to just talk about policies now. Nobody told us about this 48 hour cancellation policy and restocking fee when we made the purchase, we were just told you have 7 days to return and when we asked about any restocking fee after 7 days they said yes 10%, they didnt mention rescheduling fee or cancellation fee. If you can make you empire on these $200, please be my guest, but you losing a customer who would have given business worth thousand of dollars. Even opened their card in anticipation to buy more. I walked into living spaces and was first helped by Esme.. Let me tell you, she is awesome! I have a lot of energy and needed someone to run around with me looking at furniture, and their prices, and basically help me put together decor for every room of our house and she took on the challenge. She was amazing to work with! I actually went into living spaces 5 times this week and Esme helped me 4 out of 5 times. I am glad she was the one helping me because she seemed just as excited to furnish our home as I was. Also on 2 of the days Esme was training a new employee named Jessica and to ,y surprise Jessica was also willing to run around and help put together furniture, decor and give suggestions on what would look good together. They both made a great team to work with. There are also funny and down to earth which made my buying experience amazing. On one of the days I worked with Midori and she also came in to help me pick out stuff for the house. She was nice and attentive. I also want to thank 2 managers for helping me apply to your program that help Mental Health Facilities with discounts etc. You know who you are.. Thank you. Last but not least Living Spaces was the only furniture place that I found that offers next day delivery!!! This helped me out a lot! I ordered a dining set, coffee table and side tables. The dining set arrived damaged. We waited weeks for a repair person who ultimately was not able to do the repair. All the while our dining room was trashed while we waited. Finally we were sent a replacement. We had not been able to put the coffee table/side tables in the room to see if they fit until this happened. We realized it was too much furniture and tried to return the coffee table and side tables and was told it was outside the return window. I tried to speak with a few different people explaining that it was their issue that we had not been able to see if the furniture worked within their return window. No help from Living Spaces. *9/28 UPDATE* Increasing to 2 stores for the quality & appearance of the couch & quick delivery (once scheduled). We received the couch today (sans the ottoman)! I received a call last Wednesday (after Yelping a complaint) saying they were just waiting for my couch to be offloaded & they would contact me soon. Still nothing as of yesterday, a week past due. I dreaded following up but I called again Monday & reached someone much more helpful that said the ottoman didn't make it on their last delivery truck and that is what is holding it up now. She offered to have the couch delivered now, the ottoman later. Of course! Happy to at least have the couch (and it's beautiful). A week late is not a big deal. The audacity of the CS Rep to hang up on me (I never raised my voice & I even acknowledged it wasn't his fault!) & extreme lack of communication and transparency is my main issue with this experience. It would have been nice for a manager to have followed this through (why didn't the ottoman make it? No one called to let me know it would be further delayed or to ask if I was ok with a delayed ottoman so how long would I have continued to wait??). They called us just 30 minutes before arrival and then they didn't arrive until an hour and a half later. On top of that the bed they delivered us was broken. The headboard has nails sticking out of it right where my head would be if I was sleeping. They came and delivered another bed eventually... and that one had broken slats. So many days wasted just waiting for them to deliver furniture that wasn't broken. We have jobs and can't just keep waiting multiple days for these deliveries. read more

I am really at a loss for words. I still don't have my cushion covers. I have called and waited on hold for up to an hour to reach someone each time. Every time I talk to someone, they treat me rudely as I have to re-explain everything that has happened. It has been 9 MONTHS since I began my warranty claim. I'm giving Living Spaces 5 stars for their customer service, selection and store interior. I just spent 3 hours in Living Spaces and came out with a couch set, 2 stand alone chairs, a lamp and a bed frame. Yikes! Didn't mean to get that much, but if I needed all of this, now's the time. I'll update my review when I actually receive everything - as for now I'm reviewing my experience in-store. I've been here many times and bought little things along the way. There's always someone to greet you and answer any quick questions you may have right when you walk in the door. But there's no pushy attitude. We went on Black Friday, there were a lot of people shopping, but there were tons of employees also! Had no problem flagging down someone to ask questions. We were helped by Lonnie (such a cutie and super accommodating). She was wonderful and stayed with us for the whole time we were there. As we were shopping another girl came by with water/coffee and fresh cookies. Oh my goodness. They didn't care if you ate and drank sitting on their couches either. That's pretty bold of them if you ask me. So, the experience was great. We got all our questions asked and walked out completely happy. I'm not sure why this store has such a low star rating, but I've always had a great experience here. Even when we'd browse and purchase nothing. We'll see how the delivery goes. I had high hopes for Living Spaces when I first set out to buy a new mattress but it led to confusion and and miscommunication by company staff which led to my order getting "lost"... I opened a LS credit card to take advantage of their financing and purchased a mattress and frame from the customer service desk. We set a time and day for delivery since I work 2 jobs and getting time off both of them can be tough. The day before scheduled delivery, I tried to "track my order" using the order number on the sales receipt with no luck - "order cannot be found". I looked into it a bit more and found that orders are only trackable the day of delivery. So I waited until today, delivery day, to try again with no luck, so I called the 877-266-7300 number. The sales rep apologized and said my order wasn't "put on the delivery truck for some reason" and the next available date for delivery wasn't for another 5-8 days. As mentioned, I work 2 jobs and schedules for either have not come out for 5-8 days away currently so I could not even set up rescheduled delivery date! I gave my bed to a family member last night, prepped their mattress/box spring to be taken away and slept on a cot expecting my new bed to arrive today..... nope, what a let down! How can a company who puts on a great showroom floor like Living Spaces fumble scheduled deliveries this bad?! I can't risk taking off both jobs again for a delivery that may not arrive on the scheduled date again... My elderly parents purchased a $7,000 adjustable bed and mattress with a great salesperson. Everything was delivered and they were not shown how to use the adjustable feature with the two remotes. After days of calling and being referred around and around they were given to a female manager who stated, "sorry, I can't tell you why it's not working, it could be that you need to crawl under the bed and unplug something for the feature to work, you signed off on it at delivery, can't help you!!" My mom asked her why she thinks two people in their 80's, one just having brain surgery should crawl under the bed. The manager finally said, "look, I will do you a favor and have a tech come out to help you, but you will have to pay them $100 for their time". I feel this is not the best way to talk to an elderly person (let alone anyone) who just spent $7,000 on a bed. Why not ask if they were provided a manual, and could they send a new one, apologize for the inconvenience, maybe ask if they have a family member that could help get on the phone and trouble shoot. I purchased custom order furniture from this store in early October 2023. I paid in full at the time and signed a detailed Terms and Conditions Form with a delivery date of 4-5 weeks delivery. After 8 weeks and calling multiple times (zero contact from them) I called and received the message that "your furniture is not in our warehouse and we have no delivery time-frame at this time". I was informed that their Terms are that any time-estimate is just an estimate and there is no recourse for significant delays. They have lost a customer and I advise no one to buy anything from this establishment. NEVER BUY THE EXTENDED SERVICE AGREEMENT. IT IS A SCAM OF THE HIGHEST MAGNITUDE. The experience I'd had in the showroom was a complete sham. Once they get your money, you're at their mercy. From a botched delivery, to the ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS SERVICE CONTRACT, the company wants your money, will tell you anything they can to get it and then throws you to the wolves. I'd purchased the service agreement and was told that anytime I'd had an issue with a stain or damage, it would be covered by the service agreement. That was a lie. It had taken two weeks for an appointment to be made and when it was, the tech showed up only to tell me that he had to get approval before he could do the work. It is all a bunch of smoke and mirrors to lull you to sleep so they don't have to pay any claims. I then inquired with the warranty company as to how one can cancel the agreement. In order to do so, I must write the company by snail mail to P.O. Box 11355 West Palm Beach, Fl 33419. I then call Living Spaces and was told that since I hadn't canceled within three days of purchase, that I had to write and send a cancelation to the same place. (this has been over a year long process with multiple defective couches). When the delivery arrived they only had half the couch... And not even the half that was defective! When I called the warranty department they said the initial rep was mistaken and they would only replace half the couch. Leaving me with one half that is slightly faded and doesn't match. And of course it will have to be reordered so it will be another 4-6 months of having a spring poke me in the back. This whole process has been an absolute nightmare. Call #1: On hold for 16 minutes to speak with a representative with an awful connection. Asked rep to speak louder due to connection. She kindly offered to call ma back...as I agreed and naively hung up, I felt like Elmer Fudd must have felt after letting Bugs Bunny go. Realizing I've been had, I immediately called again. Call #2: Automated voice says to anticipate a wait of 18 minutes. My call ended the music at minute 28 and disconnected at minute 32. Call #3: Got hold of "Andrea" at minute 23 of waiting. She indicated the items for delivery #1 were ready, but not scheduled for delivery. I ask about my emailed "confirmed" delivery window and Andrea appeared to have a language challenge. She sets a delivery date for 08/20/21. Now instead of late July, I am looking at late August. I ask why not consolidate deliveries for 08/10 (delivery# 2)....Andrea appears to lose her English again...FRUSTRATED, I lock in (I think/hope) a delivery date of 08/20. Each indicated they would ensure delivery would be made available if item was ready before 08/10. Well , I received a call on 07/30 telling me my stuff was ready and could be delivered W/in 48hrs.
