The price quote ended up being a great value. The two guys that arrived were friendly and professional. Just nice guys. They got to work right away, and were done in about an hour. Included in the valve replacement cost, they excavated and replaced the old and inadequate builder-installed utility box with a much better one. They substantially elevated the water pipe junction to ensure it remains easy to access in the future, installed an additional water shut-off valve, and added pea gravel for drainage. I couldn't be happier, and I recommend them enthusiastically.

When the new factory part came in a few days later, they called and made an appointment to install it. Again, they showed up on time as promised. I've had no problems with my hot water heater since. They did a great job servicing my water heater as it needed a flush after four years. Note that I was unaware of this maintenance was even needed! My bad! Thankfully it's behind me now. I also had them look at my sink disposal and two toilets. They provided good advice about the condition of a water valve on one toilet and after discussing price options, I decided to get the toilet pumps updated.
