She does a great job. I like to get my jeans altered here. I am short and can never find jeans or other pants in the length i need. She knows exactly how the hem should be after she has you try them on and questions you to get a sense of how you like the length. I love knowing that I don't have to worry about my pant hem always coming out looking great. She does all kinds of alterations and sewing. When Liz first opened I received stellar service! She did what I asked and my clothes were always ready for pick up when she said they would be. I'm not sure what happened, but things have changed. I dropped off a few items literally one month ago. Yesterday, I went to pick them up and she says "you were supposed to call me, when you were ready." I thought that was odd, I told her you were supposed to call me and since its been nearly a month I thought my clothes would be ready. Well they still weren't ready and Liz stated she'd call me no later than Tuesday. This is the second time she's done this and I will not return to her for tailoring. I prefer someone with stellar customer service and a business that's reliable. If you tell me my items will be completed by a certain time, as a customer I expect this be the case. read more

I dropped off two pairs of recently purchased dress pants on a Saturday. I told them I would be back in a week to pick them up. When I arrived the following Saturday the pants had been altered however they were both placed together on a wire hanger. The length seemed fine but the stitching had two rows of large circles that did not seem to be a professional job compared to the pants that I had purchased at Jos A. Bank store where the stitching was small and more professional. I won't be returning and would not recommend friends to this business. read more

Horrible!!!! I was really hoping it was a hidden camera show or something based on how rude these ladies were. I entered the shop to ask about a dress being made. One last stared at me for a second seconds before she decided to greet me with an annoyed face. I asked about a dress being made. The lady quickly turned to Liz mumbled something in another language and Liz answered her in the same mumble jumble. The other lady looks at me like there's your answer. I don't speak your gibberish I thought. Then Liz loudly said I'm too busy. I said thanks and left. Liz probably is too busy keeping up her supposed "doll like" appearance and making her custom sheer camisoles and capris. Tsk tsk. I've never never had worse customer experience in my life. She has tailored for my husband plenty of times, while yes it can take a few days extra than what you may anticipate, but she still does a very good job. She has also hem'd quite a few pairs on my jean and her work was very good. As far as the star's go, I give her 5 on her work, she's good at what she does and you 5 for her prices; you can't beat her prices, which is why she is so slammed. If you need something overnight like most of the zero star people probably needed, then go to a dry cleaners and pay triple, but if you are not in a hurry for it and want to save $$$$; we have saved up to 50% compared to other places. I'm a fan of her work and her prices, especially in this economy. read more

By far one of the worst customer service ever. I dropped off a couple clothes on 3/10 and her guaranteeing me that it will be done on 3/15. I show up Wednesday to find that my clothes weren't ready she told that it was almost done that she would call me and she never did. Next day I sent my sister to go pick them up and still not even finished and again said she will call me. It's 3/20 and I go see if my clothes were ready and come to find out my clothes hadn't been touched or even worked on. She completely lied to me. When I originally went into Liz's tailors I came in to have a different skirt sewed onto my prom dress. After being run around multiple times because she said she was going to be there and wasn't, I finally picked up the material and took if to her. I got my prom dress and everything looked alright and fit. By the end of prom, I noticed she didn't hem the bottom of the dress. Instead, she had just ironed it. So, because I am frugal I am going to be using the same dress again for another occasion. I wanted the top to be turned into a sweet heart neckline, and the bottom hemmed correctly this time. I went there to make sure she was open (because you always have to with that place) and then was told what time to meet her at later in the day. I'm not really close, so I do go out of my way to meet her. So finally, I got everything and went to the tailor. She wasn't there. So I called and she picked up saying shell be there in ten minutes. Well, I waited. Not only did I wait but she didn't show up. Her sister did though. If that wasn't the tip of the iceberg, I told her what I wanted and she was more than rude to me. Enough for me to walk away and find a better tailor. So in conclusion, I wouldn't care about the customer service being absolutely horrible, if I at least got quality work. But I paid for something previously and it wasn't delivered. It's a waste of time to go there and don't expect to get what you paid for or to have done what they said they would do read more
