Be aware!!!! I always come here and had a change oil recently. The oil wasn't fully drained, they overfilled with oil and left some knots under not so tight that will result to leak. Then I was told there's a leak on the power steering & oil pan. Almost like a frustrated murder. Excess oil will spill on the engine that will damage the engine and can even cause fire. I called to report this incident, spoke to a lady named Isama in the office who said she will relay this message to general manager Shimon said yo be there only there on Mondays. Just after oil change, we suctioned the excess oil and came out so dark (black). So, we suctioned all about 8L of dark oil. Note the capacity in my car is about 5.5L read more

Terrible, they always do some shady shit. They say they changed my filter when I didn't even ask for it to be changed every time and charge an extra $10 dollars. They have stolen things out of my car. I've left there with a paper that said everything has been serviced and then have no window wiper fluid to use. Never going back there again!!! read more

Went to this place last week for a car wash; outside the car looked great but interior was a lot worst. There worker had tar on his feet and my Mercedes mat was destroyed. Called the car wash and the said bring in the car and we will review the cameras. The manager then refused and said it was impossible and wasn't there worker and that if I needed there information for legal action. Only argument is you can't prove it which is seriously a shame and a joke. read more

i have been to this location on a few occasions ranging from car wash to a car and a lube and all experiences have been satisfactory they are thorough in their oil changes in which they show you what your car needs and offers the choice of high end brands to low end brands. and with a free car wash after your oil change you leave there with your car feeling definitely different i was there over an hour in which they can changed my filters oil wipers and conducted an engine flush being my car had a lot of milage on it.. they couldn't reset the computer in the car so it wouldn't show that i still needed a oil filter but i can ignore that had a bad experience with the dealership so i prefer the local spots for oil changes wish they restocked the waiting area as it looks like they still have the same things there since it first opened which was over ten years ago read more

This place sucks!!!!.....I've been going to this place for years so I went in to have an oil change, they tried to change a filter only to find out they didn't have in stock. Apparently the oil change person tried to put back the filter but ended up breaking my glove compartment because it's located behind it. He didn't have the nerve to tell me so when I went away for the weekend the glove compartment kept opening up. Of course when you go back to complain they deny they broke it. On 02/27/2019, I took my vehicle to get my NYS Inspection at St Ann's Auto Repair in the Bronx that was due by February 28th 2019 and my car passed the inspection. After my inspection, I took my car to Castrol Car Wash and Lube in the Bronx to get an oil change. I have gone to this place for over 15+ years and trusted their work and any advice that they had given me about my car. On my visit on 02/27/2019, the worker recommended that my car get an oil flush. I asked him if this was that a service necessary for my car and he responded with "yes, your oil is dirty." After the oil flush and oil change were done, I left Castrol Wash and Lube to drive to a car wash. When I started to drive on the Bronx River Pkwy, not even a mile from the Castrol Car Wash, I noticed that the oil indicator light turned on stating that something was wrong with the oil pressure and for me to turn off my engine and read the manual. A few seconds after that my check engine light turned on and the engine started making noise. I went back to Castrol Car Wash and Lube to let them know what had just happened. They checked the car to see if the filter was properly installed and checked the car for any oil leaks. They ran the code to see what was wrong and it said Cam Sensor Error. The manager (Sandy) told me to take the car to my mechanic and that if they work on the car that they will pay for 50% of the cost. At that moment, Castrol Car Wash and Lube is admitting fault by offering to pay a portion. I took my car to 2 different mechanics and both said that an oil flush should not had been recommended especially with a car that has over 200K miles on it. The mechanic just wanted to upsell me something that my car didn't need and have should not been recommended. While trying to get my car to the 3rd mechanic in the Bronx, my car broke down on Interstate 287. I had to get my car towed off I287 to a mechanic shop in the Bronx. The tow cost me a total of $173. The mechanic reached out to Castrol Car Wash and Lube to let them that the oil flush should not have been recommended and that because it was performed, the car is no longer running. Castrol Car Wash and Lube stated that nothing they did caused the car's engine to cease and that they are not responsible and will not pay for the damages. While gathering all of the information from Castrol Car Wash and Lube to file a claim with the DMV, I was able to speak with the office manager Jennifer and she said that Castrol Car Wash and Lube does not deal with the DMV. I told her what happened and she said that she would give the owner the information and I would receive a call from him in a few days. I received a call back on 3/13/2019 from the office stating that they would like to pick up my car and have their mechanic look at it in the South Bronx. Los Peguero Inc. Repair Shop. Registration #7107989. The shop arranged for a tow truck to pick up my car on 3/15/2019 at 10am. The tow truck took the car at 10:41 am and I received a call at 11:31 am (less than an hour) from the shop stating that they checked the car over and that the issue was the timing belt. I went to the shop and told them that it cannot be the timing belt because I recently had the belt changed and I have receipts to show that this was done. The mechanic wanted me to look inside where the oil is poured to try and show me that the cause is the timing belt. I had to prove to that mechanic that the issue wasn't the belt because the car would have had never turned on. I told them to open the side of the engine to observe the belt and to see that it was still working with no issues. I left the car there so they can try and find the real reason instead of just pointing the blame to something that had nothing to do with the real issue in hopes that I would not know any better and to make Castrol Car Wash and Lube not responsible for the work they did on my car. On 3/16/2019, I received a call from the manager of Castrol Car Wash and Lube stating that he went to the mechanic and they determined that the oil pump is the cause of the problem and it had nothing to do with the service they provided. I do not believe that this is accurate because there were no issues with the car prior to me bringing it there for an oil change on 2/27/2019. Their mechanic lost all credibility by lying the first time to see if they could get me to stop pursuing this, knowing that what they did should not have been done. This place is not taking responsibility for what their employee recommended. I paid $203 for them to kill my car. All I wanted them is to do is fix my car because I need my car. They will not and now I have to file a complaint with the DMV and hope to get some resolution. That will be my first step. I wish that there was a lower score than 1 star. read more

Avoid at all costs. Rude Cashiers, Incomplete Service, and no manager apparently on duty to speak to. I had an issue and was told no manager or interim manager was on premises (on Saturday afternoon) and I would have to come back on Monday. Noone spoke clear english or did anything except try to get me to leave without resolution..Good Car washes are hard to find...This is one to avoid. read more

My family and I have been patrons for over 10+ years, even after moving to Westchester. Never going back again. Charged me 2x more than the dealer. they do not disclose charges until after the service is performed. They do not check your vehicle as advertised and after confronting them on it I left with a bolt in my front tire the size of a marble. I have been going here for over 10 yrs and should have stopped yrs ago when they broke my dipstick and would not admit it. Unfortunately my visit this past Saturday was much worst. I was harrassed and assaulted by another customer who after 10 mins of screaming at me eventually walk out the door where I was standing and punched me in the face, none of the at least 20 ppl working did anything. Then to make matters worse, I noticed that my oil service indicator light and my tire pressure light was still on. I returned to see if they could reset the service indicator as well as check the tire like they indicated that they did. They said there was nothing they could do that I only paid for an oil change. I paid $91 and I am not even sure that I got an oil change. When I asked to speak to the owner, because none of the managers do a thing, no one knows how to contact him. I will never go back there!
