The owner -- a true gentleman -- called us back in and found us a spot, and that turned out to be an amazing call. Dinner was fantastic. We were served by a Cuban waiter (unfortunately, I missed his name), who took great care of us. We both ordered the same main dish -- chicken limone with roasted potatoes -- and I added the fresh homemade pasta on the side. What a combination! The bread was delicious too; I couldn't resist setting up my own olive oil, Parmesan, and cracked black pepper dipping plate. This place is an absolute gem and definitely a tough one to get into. The salads also looked fresh and large. As many places in Italy, there a fee to sit at the restaurant and be served. 8 euro for both of us. The next day when waiting for our ferry ride, we popped into a pizzeria and grabbed another pizza diavola to go...what a let down. The pizza at buca di bacco was within a euro or two in price and 100% better. If you haven't had a good pizza in Italy and find yourself in Capri, at least grab one or two of their pizzas to go and eat them near the ocean overlook.
