Burger w/ no cheese. Can't be made to order and costs nearly $20. Not worth it, get a hot dog.

Update: this business stands behind their product and their customers like no other I've worked with! Within 1 business day of my review being posted, Mr. Lobel reached out to me personally to apologize and make things right. No excuses. You don't see that type of ownership (literally and in a customer service sense) very often these days. It's something I truly appreciate, and I definitely look forward to giving Lobel's another chance the next time we're in the city. These guys have been around for 6 generations and are not only very proud of their name and their craft, they stand behind it. That is something I greatly admire and respect. Thank you Mark and team at Lobel's!

Come get some. Burgers with a very special blend, melt in your mouth coffee rubbed roasted prime beef, and fries if you need them. FYI, one fry order is enough for four ppl.

    Steak Sandwich with horseradish

When I heard steak sandwich, my mind traveled to Pat's and Geno's. But this was no cheesesteak. No, rather than fake cheese and meat that leaves you asking "Where's the beef?", this steak sandwich was tender, flavorful, and well worth my money. Served with horseradish, it was zesty and savory all at once. The gravy makes it messy, but the sticky fingers were well worth it. The lady at the counter was friendlier than anybody I'd encountered at a ball game. She smiled and made some conversation (but not too much). I thoroughly enjoyed Lobel's and next time I'm at a Yankees game, (which probably won't be very soon) I'll be sure to stop by.

    Steak Sandwich. Top notch stuff

This is the best food in Yankee Stadium. I've had the steak sandwich a few times as far back when it was a prime ripb sandwich. The steak is super tasty and tender. Its also a pretty decent size sandwich so make sure you eat it at a table because it will get sloppy. The Meatloaf burger is pretty top notch as well. Tender and a hint of sweetness. The staff is also super friendly and very helpful.

I was hungry while at the Yankee Game so out of all the places to eat I decided to eat at Lobel's. The butcher in the window is what really caught my eye. As a foodie seeing a walk in refrigerator full of uncooked meat is exciting haha! But anyhow I ordered the Lobel burger, fries and a beer. $35 total but thats expected at any arena. The burger was good and so were the fries (fries are delicious). They give you an insane amount of fries to keep in mind that you can easily share this for 2. One day when I come back on a day when its warmer I'll get a steak!

Melt in your mouth prime steak sandwich

Had the prime steak sandwich at Yankee Stadium. It was excellent. Only thing I would've preferred is if they asked how you wanted it cooked since mine came out pretty medium & I would have loved it more pink & rare... don't think that's too much to ask since it's a whopping $17! But still a great melt in your mouth sandwich.

Love in a bun! The price has gone up a dollar in the last year or two. But at $16 the sandwich is well worth it. The meat is succulence cooked to perfection! The bun absorbs all the juices perfectly that it all melts in your mouth. The meat is so tender, it's divine. No veggies or sides needed!! You MUST try it for yourself! I admit I only went to the stadium to take a bite out of heaven. :)

One of the best food options at Yankee Stadium. I always say I'm going to try something new, but their amazing steak sandwiches keep me from wanting to change. Worth every penny and the wait.

Brisket sandwich was the best food I've had at Yankee stadium. I highly recommend. Get a side of BBQ sauce to go with it.

Well, it was her one wish, to have something decadent and nutritionally bad, because it would be her last meal before undergoing extensive surgery and a lengthy hospital stay during her birthday and entire birthday month. Disclaimer: everything went fine and she's doing great. I ordered her burger on the drive there; we got her a classic beef burger with cheese and BLT. When we got to the hospital, we put two candles in the container and sang her a very rapid version of, "Happy Birthday", before we caused the fire alarms went off. It was great. She appreciated it and she devoured that burger. She said it was a very good burger. I've been perusing their menu and I think it may be time to head over there again. I've got my eye on their chimi burger with steak, fried cheese, housemade chimichurri and fried plantain buns. That just sounds too damn good to not eat.

This three star rating is based on two different experiences with them, the first: we ordered on Uber Eats and the order arrived promptly, very well packed and was absolutely delicious. My bf got their bacon burger and I got the grilled chicken sandwich, we both got fries and we loved it so much we said we couldn't wait to come back. The second time we decided to come check it out in person because surely if the takeout was so good. Freshly made would have to be even better right? ... wrong LOL. The workers ruined the whole experience, first there was no one in line to order but we still had to wait because the girl from the register was chatting it up with the lady who packs the food. When she finally noticed us she rolled her eyes like us coming to shop at their business was an inconvenience to her. We get our order in and she gives us a little vibration holder for when it was ready, when it's finally ready my bf tried another burger with fries and I tried the same chicken sandwich. My sandwich is thrown together messily and it's missing the aoli from last time. I approach the counter and ask about the aoli and the lady, annoyed I came back huffs and puffs and tells me I have to pay for that bc "it ain't free". I said okay and get my card out and then she's like "oh god" OUTLOUD lol. Not only do I pay $2 for a tiny bit of sauce, she let me know how annoyed she was that she had to charge me for it and go out the sauce in the little container. All in all, please believe the reviews about their terrible service. Is the food delicious? Yes! But are the hella rude? Hell yes. Just prepare your expectations if you choose to come here. P.S: if you eat there in person you will leave smelling like seasoning bc their extractor isn't that good so the grill smells come out of the tiny restaurant
