Burger w/ no cheese. Can't be made to order and costs nearly $20. Not worth it, get a hot dog.

Update: this business stands behind their product and their customers like no other I've worked with! Within 1 business day of my review being posted, Mr. Lobel reached out to me personally to apologize and make things right. No excuses. You don't see that type of ownership (literally and in a customer service sense) very often these days. It's something I truly appreciate, and I definitely look forward to giving Lobel's another chance the next time we're in the city. These guys have been around for 6 generations and are not only very proud of their name and their craft, they stand behind it. That is something I greatly admire and respect. Thank you Mark and team at Lobel's!

Come get some. Burgers with a very special blend, melt in your mouth coffee rubbed roasted prime beef, and fries if you need them. FYI, one fry order is enough for four ppl.

    Steak Sandwich with horseradish

When I heard steak sandwich, my mind traveled to Pat's and Geno's. But this was no cheesesteak. No, rather than fake cheese and meat that leaves you asking "Where's the beef?", this steak sandwich was tender, flavorful, and well worth my money. Served with horseradish, it was zesty and savory all at once. The gravy makes it messy, but the sticky fingers were well worth it. The lady at the counter was friendlier than anybody I'd encountered at a ball game. She smiled and made some conversation (but not too much). I thoroughly enjoyed Lobel's and next time I'm at a Yankees game, (which probably won't be very soon) I'll be sure to stop by.

    Steak Sandwich. Top notch stuff

This is the best food in Yankee Stadium. I've had the steak sandwich a few times as far back when it was a prime ripb sandwich. The steak is super tasty and tender. Its also a pretty decent size sandwich so make sure you eat it at a table because it will get sloppy. The Meatloaf burger is pretty top notch as well. Tender and a hint of sweetness. The staff is also super friendly and very helpful.

I was hungry while at the Yankee Game so out of all the places to eat I decided to eat at Lobel's. The butcher in the window is what really caught my eye. As a foodie seeing a walk in refrigerator full of uncooked meat is exciting haha! But anyhow I ordered the Lobel burger, fries and a beer. $35 total but thats expected at any arena. The burger was good and so were the fries (fries are delicious). They give you an insane amount of fries to keep in mind that you can easily share this for 2. One day when I come back on a day when its warmer I'll get a steak!

Love in a bun! The price has gone up a dollar in the last year or two. But at $16 the sandwich is well worth it. The meat is succulence cooked to perfection! The bun absorbs all the juices perfectly that it all melts in your mouth. The meat is so tender, it's divine. No veggies or sides needed!! You MUST try it for yourself! I admit I only went to the stadium to take a bite out of heaven. :)

Had the prime steak sandwich at Yankee Stadium. It was excellent. Only thing I would've preferred is if they asked how you wanted it cooked since mine came out pretty medium & I would have loved it more pink & rare... don't think that's too much to ask since it's a whopping $17! But still a great melt in your mouth sandwich.

One of the best food options at Yankee Stadium. I always say I'm going to try something new, but their amazing steak sandwiches keep me from wanting to change. Worth every penny and the wait.

I've been going to Vincent's for years. And they've got a wonderful assorted selection of different meats and cuts...etc. I wanna give them a BIG thumbs up for their veal and their veal cutlets! They are hands down the BEST!! I have been purchasing them for years and I have never been disappointed. They taste great when prepared properly! The guys behind the counter are always kind and helpful and will freezer-wrap any meat order you want. Like I said...there are many fantastic butcher shops in The Bronx...and all over NYC, but when you find a place that works...you just stick with that! Again...in my opinion, the BEST Veal around! They sell a variety of meats including beef, poultry, pork, veal and they specialize in homemade Italian sausages. I came in specifically looking for steak and the guy who helped me answered all of my questions regarding the different types of cuts. The staff was helpful and very efficient, they gave me a sheet with information on the different temperatures to cook the meat. I ended up ordering the NY strip steak. The meat had a nice amount of marbling and was very tender and flavourful. The meat was such great quality that even though I slightly overcooked it, it remained very tender. I only added minimal seasoning, salt and pepper with butter and flavor was delicious. I would definitely recommend coming here if you're looking for quality meat.

You see, as I was randomly scrolling through Yelp trying to come up with some potential food stops, this popped up. I happen to love Butcher Block in Queens and figured maybe this would be similar. Well, this was smaller than I expected, but there was still plenty for me to choose from, and choose, I did. Got a can of mushy peas. I like mushy peas. So what? Also got some bangers. Not touching that one... And a couple housemade frozen pot pies, including chicken curry and steak & kidney. Wish me luck with that second one. Never tried kidney before. I think they also sell sausage rolls and fry up fish & chips on the spot for you. Though don't quote me on either. Plus they carry various Irish biscuits, chocolates and whatnot. I was fascinated by the Woodlawn neighborhood where this is located. It's apparently known as "Little Ireland,' made obvious, indeed, by the various pubs, markets, and restaurants I happened upon nearby. I had no bloody clue! Can't believe what an eejit I am. NYC, I hardly knew ye. For real. 'Twas probably the luck 'o the Irish. Me winding up here. How else to explain it.

The whole event was very organized (including before hand). As we moved around their building all the stations were set up, so there was little hanging around. My class was split into a few sections, after a little team bonding and shouts of "meat" we got going. Firstly a run through of the anatomy of animals and things to look out for or attributes that change taste, we even touched on a few ethical issues which were interesting. Secondly Jessica ran through food labeling which was very interesting, I consider myself pretty well educated on meat purchasing but learnt a few things (I didn't know to look out for 1000% grass fed vs grass fed). Finally we got into the butchery section, initially with a demo then an attempt ourselves. I definitely learnt a lot of techniques I could use and they helped you throughout. Overall the class was great fun, the instructors were very helpful and at the end I had a lot of delicious meat to take home. Highly recommended. Matt

My friend in Chicago even ordered based on my recommendation and she loved the meat and said all was still chilled when arrived. She's ordered again. Any questions and Jessica Mosner personally emails back within hours. I order about every other week and the meat is packed amazing, still frozen/chilled, with multiple ice packs. Doesn't matter if COVID restrictions or not, Mosner is my go-to now on for meat.
