It would go a long way to improve this location if workers were trained to do everything as efficiently and quickly as possible. The cost is also astronomically high for chicken. Lobster Guys in Pasadena offers a decent take on the Connecticut-style lobster roll, but falls short on some key elements. The warm lobster roll lacked sufficient hot butter and seasoning, and the lobster could have been better nestled in the split roll for a more satisfying bite. Also, the fries were extra battered. I'm not a fan of battered fries. This might be a me, thing. The side of fries did not come with the roll. It's a separate $6 charge. As for drinks, Lobster Guys offers a good, white label lemonade. It provided a refreshing accompaniment to the meal. In all, Lobster Guys delivers a satisfactory experience, but there's room for improvement in enhancing the flavors and presentation of their Connecticut-style roll. read more

I ate it without regrets but I have had better japanese food in a mall in Tuscon, which is not a compliment, especially for SoCal where there are a ton of top shelf Japanese restaurants. We all need to rebel and return to eating in restaurants because every delivery of food I have gotten in the past 6 months is pretty much trash. Sushi Ya is no exception. I will never order delivery from here again. The customer service was good though. I got a refund for the mistake. Cool. Whatever.
